Thank you for taking the time to do this podcast and sharing what you know about K-beauty! I started listening at the beginning and working my way to the current day. I’m not sure if you changed this later but at least in the USA we don’t say “oriental medicine” and it’s either Asian medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM - if from china). Thanks for all your hard work!

I LOVE this podcast! During 2020 I started to get really into beauty and the health of my skin. I particularly wanted to take the K-Beauty approach towards skincare and makeup. You can image my reaction when I found this podcast! As a working professional in the beauty industry and a long time resident of Seoul, Lauren is so knowledgeable on all things K-Beauty, beauty news, and Korean culture. You’ll find little mention of “glass skin” on this podcast. Instead Lauren covers topics such as Korean beauty treatments and procedures, celebrity skincare, toner trends, product releases, ‘untact’ skincare, and so much more! I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who is interested in beauty and even those who aren’t! Lauren is great and thanks to her my skin is looking it’s best!

I absolutely love this podcast and have listened to every episode. Host Lauren Lee is amazing and when she says she is a K-beauty expert, she absolutely means it. Whether you are interested in some of the nitty-gritty details on how ingredients work or want to learn about the latest trends in Seoul, this podcast has it covered. It’s also fun to learn about her journey creating the brand JellyKo. But my favorite thing about this podcast is how intelligent, honest and ethical Lauren is when presenting information. I can really count on it to be factual and trust it to guide what I put on my face, which is a big deal!

Lauren is so knowledgeable and fun to listen to and shares such a wide mix of topics, brand and trend shares and also shares what is going on in Korean culture. Such a fun listen, I always learn so much and look forward to Tuesday’s & Thursday’s (yay! two days of episode snow!) One thing I also appreciate is that Lauren does have her own brand, but I have never felt like she is only taking about that or only promoting her own business- she shares all brands and products and gives honest feedback. Highly recommend!

I love that this podcast focuses specifically on Korean beauty! As a westerner living in Korea, Lauren does a great job keeping us all abreast of the latest trends in Korea while still making Kbeauty accessible to newbies and westerners who may not understand all of the nuances just yet. This is a great podcast if you are new to K beauty or are a skincare pro who just wants perspective directly from the streets of Seoul. Thank you Lauren! Love your podcasts! I think I’m almost done with about all of them. I love kbeauty/korean skincare a lot as well. I find these podcasts helps to understand korean skincare better, especially new trends and classic information such as double cleansing! Hope you will have many many podcasts in the future. If you have a chance, please talk more about new ingredients and new trends in Korea (not familiar with Australia much).

I found this after googling “k beauty podcast.” I knew nothing about the host or StyleStory before listening to this podcast. It’s super informative and very straightforward. I don’t know how a k-beauty expert would feel about it but I find the host’s explanations and advice to be extremely helpful in navigating the k-beauty world. I’ve listened to every episode so far. I wish there were more and I wish they were longer.
