JDR789Science based, and so helpfulAs someone pursuing her PhD in clinical psych, I LOVE how much they pull in CBT and apply it to overall lifestyle goals and behavior change. You can tell they put a TON of work into this show… it is fantastic! I love the lab assignment component too ;)

M.Cat RealsyAre there two Brocks?I get a lot of value out of this podcast so I’m giving it 4 stars. It has great info and not too much, if any, advertising. Just the idea of questioning rewards could be a game changer for me, depending how far i go with it. I really like Brock on the fitness guy podcast. That one has great music and his voice is deep and resonant. Here, in a more conversational mode, he sounds too nice guyish, appeasing, accomodating. He doesn’t speak as deeply, authoritatively, or with quite as much tonal variation. Actually I sometimes zone out while listening to this in the morning when I make my breakfast. The voices are too lulling! Throw in some of that fitness guy music !

@littlebirdaz2 greats in one placeI’ve listened to both Brock and Monica separately but this podcast is the best. Glad to have both of them in one place helping with permanent change! So helpful and they make the principles so simple. I wait for each episode!

Rbb0114. Your Past Does Not Predict Your FutureI just caught up with this podcast and think it is the best one I’ve listened to so far. It reinforced my conviction that just because I have had significant weight loss in the past and put the weight back on - does not mean that I am doomed to do it again. But change has to happen, old habits broken and goals and objectives reset to achieve my objective and then “practice the sustainability of a thin person.” For me, this time, failure is not an option. I am going to succeed. With the understanding that there will be setbacks and possibly some detours, I look forward to achieving “the new me” with help from these podcasts and this two expert coaches.

Pamela in New BernThank you!I am familiar with Monica‘s work as the nutrition diva having been a subscriber to her podcast for a number of years. I am thoroughly enjoying the Change Academy podcast and getting to “know” Brock Armstrong. Their Podcast is helping me discover why I have fizzled out from my exercise program after 30 years and rediscover why being fit is important to me. They’re also helping me make some sustainable changes in other areas of my life. Thank you Brock and Monica!

OtterMommy124Sometimes the hosts get in theri own wayThere are a lot of wonderful things about this podcast--they have great suggestions and concrete suggestions. My issue is that sometimes the hosts just get in their own way--they have a very black and white view of things which is usually something I can sort of shrug off. However, there are times when they don't take into account that what doesn't work for them may work well for others. This could be anything from small technique or a popular wellness program, which they seem not to understand, but do nothing but condemn it (Which is a shame because this podcast and "the dubs" would go very well together).

Laura in PittsburghMy favorite team of experts!I listen to Monica & Brock’s podcasts on the Quick & dirty tips network & love them both. In their new podcast they are teaching us about how to change our habits. I really enjoy how they give us an assignment for each week. I’m committed to doing the work. Thank you both!

anglophoneSuperb launchI am a picky podcast listener. I have listened to the first two podcasts. The help given here goes beyond just nutrition and fitness. It applies to life in general. These two are superb and grounded in reality.

LstachowskiGreat podcast from two awesome health specialistsI have been following Monica Reinagle and Brock Armstrong on their other podcasts for years now. They are terrific at getting past the bs that a lot of other fitness and nutrition experts continue touting. They also bring years of experience to the table. Their program is based on science, and goes beyond nutrition and physical fitness, as it also includes those behavioral aspects of change that most other programs seem to exclude. Give this podcast a chance, I guarantee it will be time well spent.

IllinoisAmyThank You!Sound practical & professional advice from two great sources! Monica & Brock are a great team guiding me back into the healthy lifestyle lane. I had a detour on the “gravy train”. It’s time for a ticket transfer & a new journey with two welcoming conductors! All aboard!

pymomof3AwesomeBrock and Monica are a dynamic duo. They have such great information and they deliver it in a fun and informative manner. Looking forward to lots of years together! Highly recommend this.

jeankayleeGreat informationI enjoy Brock and Monica’s Quick and Dirty podcasts. Now, one where they’re together is double the enjoyment. They are so “down to earth” about their views, it easy to follow their advice. I watch or listen to everything they post. Thanks for doing this for us. Now, go eat something good and keep moving:-)
