    Where's season 1?
I really wanted to listen after hearing the crossover with Forgive Me, but there's no season 1. 😭

    Season 1?
I absolutely love this show and I love to go back and listen again and again but season 1 doesn’t show up anywhere anymore and I can’t find it online?

    Confused
I heard about this show as a promo, haunted it down…found there was a season 2 but season 1 mia. So I searched and found season 1 online, listened through, and came back here for season 2. Now I’m lost on what is happening as far as episodes go. What’s happened? Will there be more episodes? Did I strap in for a ride for nothing?!?? For what it’s worth, I really like the show. It’s interesting and different. I hope that more epys appear at some point.

    Why???
I was halfway through the first episode, enjoying it so far, loving that the main character was a foul mouthed woman (relatable). Come to find out it’s supposed to be a male character? Why use a female voice actor then? why couldn’t the character be a woman? I don’t understand this choice at all, and it’s distracting enough that I can’t listen. What a strange attempt to appear progressive.

    A Comedic Masterpiece
The Vanishing Act lures you in.. thinking it’s just another period piece, but within the first few minutes you find out it’s anything but. TVA’s quick wit and sly dark humor will catch you off guard with some of the punchiest jokes around. This isn’t just ‘laugh out loud’ funny. It’s ‘laugh out loud and have to stop what you’re doing’ funny. Ian and Lauren have written a comedic masterpiece worthy of a Pulitzer.

    Absolutely Stunning!!!
There hasn’t been a show that has made me laugh, smile and feel genuine love for absolute idiots as much as The Vanishing Act has. With an amazing story, characters and setting(s) that all came together thanks to amazing writers, cast and crew, this show about ✨the magic of theatre✨ is always on my mind. I would totally recommend this show to anyone who loves theatre, magic, historical fiction, ducks, idiots and pulitzer prize recipients (in 1933).

    Amazing!
I had this show recommended to me and I did not know if I would like it. But after listening to the first few episodes I was hooked, I listen to all the episodes in only a few weeks! Anyone looking for a funny, heartfelt story of a ragtag group this is the story for you!

    Standing Ovation
Like if the story of The Prestige was told by meth addicts. I mean that as the highest compliment. Endlessly inventive, fall down laughing funny and truly unpredictable, I loved every moment and can’t wait for season two. And Paul Honeycutt can eat a stadium of phalluses.

    As a Producer...
As an Audio Drama producer myself, I am humbled by the Vanishing Act. The Dialogue is incredible. The Production value is on point. And, the Actors are amazing. Fantastic job, and I look forward to everything you guys ever come up with.

    Inventive and Fun
Seriously clever story, dialogue and acting, but this takes things several steps forward in non-traditional casting. Huzzah!!

    Fun (and Free) for All!
The Vanishing Act literally has something for everyone. No matter what genre you’re interested in, this brilliant storyline covers it all. You like history? Got it. You like mystery? Come on. You like weird? Just wait for the bit about the duck. This series will quench whatever thirst you’ve got, and surprise and delight you while doing it.

    Biking buddy
This is my best podcast for my early morning bike rides! Other riders must wonder what I’m laughing at some mornings. Love the production values, the pace, the music, the actors, the effects... just everything about it! Riding almost every day, I listen to a LOT of podcasts on my long rides and this one is so professional, so polished, so funny, so zany. I can listen to a given episode and love every minute, listen again the next ride and hear nuances I missed, listen a few more times and still hear things that slipped past me earlier. Can’t wait for new episodes, keep it up!

Not nearly as clever as it thinks it is
Just because you talk fast and break the fourth wall doesn't make the dialog good. Also apparently the main character is supposed to be a man? Clearly played by a woman which adds to the confusion.

    WOW!
I love serial fiction podcasts, I’ve listened to A LOT over the last 7 yrs. That being said, there are very, very few, that excel in original storyline, voice acting, and sound production. This one does all that and more. I was totally hooked by the end of the first episode. The VA cast is AMAZING! And for any critical audiophiles, your immersion into this story will not be interrupted by

The Vanishing Act is zany and beautiful and weird and just so much fun to listen to. A tongue-in-cheek love letter to theater and the bizarre.

    A zany, raucous good time
The performances are excellent. The writing is whip smart, and just as quick. It's a hilarious love-letter to the world of theatre and the colorful characters who call it home.
