amygoodyAmerican’s and their cups!I’m American and relate to these gals as they are my long lost sisters. I agree it’s ‘weird’ to bring your own beverage in a gigantic Stanley/Yetti travel cup to someone’s home. I’m more aggressive and nutty in my terminology and say it’s uncouth and barbaric. What is the point of my proper and fancy glassware?

podcast enthusiast!Love to ListenHi girls- I wanted to drop a note/review to let you know how much I enjoy your podcast..I recently signed up to the Patreon and look forward to the episodes each week..I love your honestly. It’s not that often you get to hear the good, the bad and the ugly (where it actually feels like it’s the truth) and that is why I continue to tune in. I’m also from Ireland but live in the States and often think if I weren’t living in NY but in FW we might just be friends! Good luck and please keep at it. 😊

Claire baby sisterLove these sisters! This is one of my all time favorite podcasts. I have 3 sisters and I love listening to Beatrice and Rosemary talk, it feels like when I am with my sisters. Love you girls!
-
keacatxThe bestHilarious and uplifting in the same way a good chat with friends can be.

NWMS FanMy Favorite Podcast When I Need a LaughMy neighbors probably wonder what’s wrong with the girl who walks her dog in the morning laughing out loud and smiling to herself. They just haven’t discovered NWMS yet! It’s a joy to listen to whatever topic Beatrice and Rosemary cover and I look forward to new episodes each week. I highly recommend joining Patreon too for extra content!

marietubsWish these where my sistersJust binged all 75 episodes of the pod so far in the last 3 months. I laughed, cried and genuinely couldn’t have enjoyed them more ! Irish in San Francisco who’s been away from her sisters for a few years now (with only a few visits here and there) I find this podcast gave me so much comfort on the days I missed them just that little bit more than usual! Keep up the fantastic work ladies ! Excited to join the Patreon and binge all those episodes now !

WestCorkListenerBrightens up a Tuesday. If you have sisters and especially if you miss chats with your sisters because you are apart , then the warmth & love and sometimes annoyance and sarcastic comments that Rosemary & Beatrice share each week is a must listen . Sometimes there are things you can only say to family . I especially like Beatrice’s reminiscing on her days spent in Europe and insights into the world of fashion & Rosemary adjusting to life in the mid west, being a step mam and new mam and her passion for take away .

Rach A McFrom one Mac to another MacI discovered this hilarious duo about a week ago and have to admit I’ve laughed and cried throughout my commutes while listening to them blabber on. I never write reviews, but truly have felt so connected to them and just wanted to share the love. The randomness of their conversations feels so genuine and honest and personal. If you need a bit of distraction, but something that will truly bring you home and back to yourself you can’t go wrong listening to these lovely ladies. From R McIntyre without an A in her Mac. xoxo PS for B and RM - met my hubby on match.com back when it was free in 2005 our first date was 24 hours And I absolutely adore all the songs you sing. Over here crying my eyes out thinking about my grandparents on their Kansas farm with “trouble in the fields”

Cattails8Love these twoSuch amazing craic every week !
-
JulesaboolesLovelyI love a good chatty podcast and had been looking for one for ages! Found this one through a random tictok I saw and it is so fantastic! I have listened to pretty much every episode and I found it only three weeks ago!
-
flowerfan80It’s GASOh the Irish wit amongst these two will leave you laughing and nodding as you relate to the genuine approach these sisters take while reminiscing about life experiences. You will feel like you know Beatrice, Rosemary and their families in these unapologetically honest chats that leave you yearning for the next episode. My adoration for these ladies only grows with each episode and I cannot wait to grab a glass of wine and ‘hang’ with them for another installment.

alliemunroePerfect for an American missing IrelandI was introduced to this podcast a few weeks ago by a friend in Galway... and I haven’t looked back since! This is the perfect podcast for an American missing Ireland, for anyone who loves an Irish accent or a good laugh, or for anyone with a sister! As someone who fits into all of those categories... it’s not surprising that I’ve quickly devoured everything Beatrice and Rosemary have to offer across all social media - past and present. I want more! (Especially from Beatrice who has a woefully sparse Instagram account. Ahem!) Can’t wait for Rosemary’s book to come out. Please do to Unbound and support her so it gets the funding it needs! This podcast is just a true joy for me and an escape each week. Thanks for the podcast, ladies and for being so honest!

nkochanovLove from PittsburghI cannot express how much I love these two women. This is without question my new favorite podcast! I could listen to them talk about everything from Rosemary being the favorite child to the thrill of McDonalds takeaway for hours on end. Each episode is the perfect marriage of self-deprecation, relatability, and spot on comedic timing. A high recommend for anyone looking for a slice of joy every week in your podcast feed! Nick

BostonIrishMomLaugh out loud funny!!!Love these two! Absolutely hilarious relatable banter. Cheers me up no end tuning in!!! Knew Bea in NYC - and m’Julie! Loving all the stories - never met your parents but they sound just like mine. 😂 Love it all!!
-
SloshothoSo hilarious!!I heard about NWMS from none other than Maeve Madden herself and I honestly didn’t know if I’d enjoy it or not seeing as how I’m an Asian American in my early-mid 20s—aka I don’t have much in common with them—but I absolutely love this podcast!! I just think they’re so funny and I love the back and forth, sisterly banter. Kind of annoyed with myself for listening to all the episodes so quickly because now I have to be patient and wait for them to come out every week. Definitely recommend having a listen!! Also I never write reviews but you guys are great so as a fan I feel that I have to do it after hearing you guys remind me for about 30 episodes haha!

tea (wine) and chats!Makes me feel like home!Absolutely love it!! Just good chats and Irish banter! Im living in NYC with a sister in Sydney and the parents at home in Dublin. This podcast has brought new life to the family WhatsApp and made us remember so many stories of our own! Takes the sting out of not seeing each other for 14 months.
-
MurtyQuirkyFeels like I’m at home with my sistersFor me living in the States and missing Ireland, like everyone in the position I think this year. Found not without my sister and had to listen back to every single episode in 1 weekend. I love the banter between them and the pauses (for eye rolls and sassy looks no doubt) after 1 of the ladies makes a joke. I am always laughing out loud along with them as I drive to work. I feel like this podcast is exactly what’s needed now - light humour mixed in with recommendation for movies and books and a light look back on history through stories of old boyfriends, previous jobs and drunken nights. I will definitely continue to recommend to my friends and family.

LMcG21Great craic and hilarious!Helping me get through this pandemic! Xx
-
annie dinHilarious!I loved this... laugh out loud and so relatable. These two are very enjoyable to listen in on!
-
Buckeye in TXYou’re Back!!It took you going away for a few weeks for me to realize how much I LOVE listening to your hilarity and nonsense while I walk my dog in the mornings! I know everyone on the trail must be wondering why I’m always laughing out loud!! 😂
-
onlychild83Sisters!!I’m not a creep. I love sisters ,I love watching movies about sisters, listening to songs about sisters and thinking about when I had a sister. Beatrice and rosemary MacCab are wonderfully funny people whom remind me of my family. Like how they tease each other almost constantly in a playful manner like I used to do with my sister and how they blamed each other for past grievances like how my mom still blames me for what happened to my sister. If you want an easy fun listen then you can’t go wrong with listening to “not without my sister”. And mom I know you’re reading this so I’ll say this again . just because I was driving that riding lawnmower doesn’t mean what happened was my fault children need to be supervised

JenniferRVRWitty Irish storytellersI’ve been living in upstate NY for the past 5 years and this podcast makes me feel a little less homesick. The podcast is a perfect representation of the witty Irish conversation that I miss the most. These sisters have some great stories to tell and I’ve genuinely laughed out loud at times listening to it. I look forward to the new episode each week.
-
Daddy of FiveBrilliantAbsolutely loved hearing the banter between the two of you! I have two sisters one at home in Ireland and one in the States with me. What we get together we love taking the piss and laughing at and with each other. Thank you for making me laugh in this very bleak time:)
-
KeRrYcHiCkLove it!Listening to Rosemary & Beatrice is like sitting at the table after a dinner with friends. Love listening to their chats and laughs. I’ve recommended this to a few friends with sisters and they also enjoy it! Definitely worth a listen.
-
inapinch2Laughed till I peedWell worth the listen. The back and forth between these two is both relatable and comedic. I have listened to all of the episodes twice and laughed so hard I almost peed. Shared with my mothers favorite daughter ( not me), and all of my girl friends.
-
2SheasOnline dating and bootsHysterical podcast! Feel like I’m friends with B and Rosemary now ..... would love to see a picture of Beatrice’s Boots .... I have a visual in my head of what they look like 🙃 I think I’ll forward this podcast to a friend, as she has a few online dates under her belt. I think this will make her feel more normal 😂😂
-
T meisterFull of heart and humorI listened to three episodes on a roadtrip and was very touched at the sibling rivalry and the banter of sisters Beatrice and Rosemary. What a gift the covid brought us by their time together. I laughed, I may have teared up and the singing was so so beautiful.
-
FieldsofflowersAll the FeelsSo funny and relatable! I find myself laughing out loud, cringing over the stories, jealous that I don't have a sister to bicker with, and commenting out loud all in one episode - "I have fat knee caps!!" Next episode, I'm listening with a glass of wine, for sure!!
-
ElizaHeine82Hilarious and EngagingThis podcast is so relatable and I find my self regularly laughing out loud while listening. Definitely makes you wish you had a sister to share this type of bond with!
-
SoapyCReally funnyReally enjoying listening to this and literally am bursting out laughing regularly. I relate so much to the sister dynamic, especially the episode that described “nipple crunching” and the actual rage you can feel toward your sister but you can’t help but almost wet yourself with laughter at the same time 😂 listening in New York with 3 sisters in Ireland and 1 in Sydney, going to have to get them listening too!
-
Chuy CalhounAfter some arm twisting...I would like to say I was merely forced into leaving a review here but I can’t. Sure, I’ve taken kindly to all things, well most things Rosemary has done in the time I’ve known her but the chemistry she and Beatrice have is quite entertaining. If only I could convince my fellow asshat American resident friends to listen though.
-
AoifelouBrilliant!Absolutely loving this podcast. I’m also from kildare living in Texas so it’s so nice to hear about the girls lives in the us. Their stories are too funny and Will have you giggling out loud. Home feels so far away at the moment it feels like a good laugh with close friends! Keep it up girls! Can’t wait for the next instalment!!
-
mprice333Absolutely loved!Being related doesn’t always equate to good chemistry, but these sisters have it! It was very entertaining and genuinely felt like listening to a conversation. I loved how open and honest they were with us about the family dynamic. Only feedback is that Rosemary sounded a bit far from the mic at times, and maybe to reduce some of the background static, but I really did love it and am excited for you both!
-
tracylsweeneyThoroughly EntertainingSmart, witty and relatable. Enjoyed every minute.
-
Irish_gal_ny84Not Without My SisterThis is one of those scenarios where you feel like you’re just spending time with friends having random banter. You will laugh out loud & have to go back 30 seconds! These ladies are sisters, but clearly great pals as well. Quality slaggin’!
