NTK1245KnowledgeDOR provides a wide array of information to runners of all skill levels. The in-depth reviews are accompanied with some medical information, mostly pertaining to people with injuries and the interaction with the particular shoe. But instead of throwing a text book at you for a “review”, the DOR team explains to the crowd in normal terms. In addition, they provide some advice to beginners / novice runners. This advice ranges from shoe selection to recovery. Their website provides some great reading as well! Thanks DOR!
-

This information is helpful to keep in mind the important of the right fit especially when you’re putting in a lot of miles. Also liked the freedom 5 review. andrew.h.1532Runner’s most important podcastBeing a hardcore RSG this has to be my favorite and most listened to podcast. The team has been super helpful in understanding the science of what we put on our feet and I do love the focus if using our shoes as tools. I couldn’t say enough about the group and this is an essential podcast for any runner.
-
la.ashleeIf you appreciate the art and science of running…Well done and informative, I really enjoy listening to this podcast. I work at a run specialty store and find it extremely helpful. If I had to offer a suggestion for future episodes, it would be to get more female voices involved in the conversation. I loved the 2021 best of episodes, but I feel like there is always an asterisk beside these categories (re: tested and ranked mostly of not only by men). Will volunteer as tribute ;)
-
slow feet fredDOR ReviewBeen listening to DOR for over a year now. I am not a runner and only run to get from point A to point B. I just happen see a discussion on proper shoe fit and decided to listen in. I never knew that there was so much information about the making of a shoe. What impressed me the most was how designs can alter a runners form and help improve performance. I have shared many of these podcasts with my running friends who tell me they made changes in their training practices and even purchased shoes that were outlined in the Pod Cast. Thank you DOR for putting out an interesting conversation on a topic that is needed to be heard by both runners and non-runners.
-
bvberzinVery Informative!DOR does a great job reviewing shoes and giving information about them from a physical therapist perspective. I like that they discuss different studies that have been done re running and running shoes. I consider them to be the most informed shoe reviewers out there!
