Pool pro here- This podcast has some of the best information and explanations on water chemistry that you are going to find out there, free of charge. Eric not only has an extensive understanding and knowledge of water chemistry, but he explains it in a way that almost anyone can understand. You can tell he is passionate about the subject. I must say he has a great voice for podcasts as well. I hope this show gains popularity and recognition because the folks over at Orenda truly do want what is best for your pool water. Their products are also bar none some of the best in the industry. I support Orenda and their mission and will continue to treat our pools with their products. Nobody asked me to leave a review here, but it is well deserved! Thank you Eric and the rest of the Orenda team!

I started using Orenda’s proactive pool care philosophy about 5 yrs ago. Heard about it from my pool guy. I’m a residential pool owner in New Jersey. I’d been taking care of our pool for 10 yrs before hearing about Orenda and the LSI. I’m not exaggerating when I say Orenda’s philosophy has changed EVERTHING. I used to dread taking that pool cover off in spring and doing reactive pool care all summer. I actually enjoy the pool now that I know how to proactively take care of it and give the water what it needs. I’m writing in response to your latest podcast with the Pool Chaser guys. I cannot agree more with one of the pool chaser guys who said that you should talk about your products more! Make no apologies for doing it. If somebody has a product that solves my problem, I want names, I want details!! I understand you not wanting the podcast to be one long commercial but I think you can find a balance between sounding like an infomercial (which I don’t think you ever have), and telling us about an Orenda product that might help with our problem. That’s my 2 cents. You’re doing a great job and filling a need in the pool world not only with Orenda products but with the education you make available. Thanks guys!

I searched for podcasts about pool care once we recently purchased a home with a pool and this is one of the first I found but most importantly it was the easiest to comprehend. I really appreciate the level of detail Eric gives - simplified but also scientific in a way that’s easy to follow. I’ve learned so much and also appreciate the ability to email in questions - I’ve done that once and just started with SC-1000 (super excited about it).

I owned a pool service company in Arizona and started using the Orenda method almost 2 years ago, plus a few other things from different people. But this is my go-to podcast for chemistry. Always informative and I’ve learned a lot. I go back to listen a lot too so I can learn the details that Eric knows. I moved my company to the North Carolina now, and I’m learning a new aspect of the chemistry in a different part of the country. Just amazing.

This podcast teaches me how to manage my pool with minimal chemicals. Orenda system makes sense and helps me enjoy my backyard without stress

With a PhD in Chemical Oceanography, I truly appreciated your explanations on the complexities of sanitizer options, alkalinity, pH and Henry’s Law pertaining to CO2 equilibrium. Buying a house with a pool this month and I’m so excited and altogether terrified of having a 20,000 gallon breaker to experiment with! Bravo on your explanations and honesty about the state of knowledge within pool industry about alkalinity and yet a willingness to dive in! Thank you!
