Excellent podcast. It is daily (business days). Everyone who complains about audio is a Karen. Barrons exists to provide current insights / narratives. The podcast is free, so any complaints can go straight to the find something else to complain about bin, you miserable person.

While the content is excellent, I do not understand why a company like Barrons cannot properly record audio. Many times the feed is simply terrible.

Really want to enjoy this content, but the audio quality is so bad. They really need to put a little more effort into the production of this podcast. It sounds like they’re just recording a zoom call.

Not very polished presentations. Hosts need to practice and be better prepared with questions.

Good contents, but it is hard to listen due to the poor sound quality.

Just listened to about a minute of what sounded like someone’s phone in their pocket before he “came back” and continued talking. The content should be listened to, perfected, and then produced.

Good content, really great actually, but the audio quality is embarrassingly bad. In a recent episode, the caller got disconnected and they just let silence run, they had no one to edit it out?! Usually they hosts sound like they are taking thru a home wireless phone from the early 90's.

But needs some audio support. Too many dropped calls/interviews. Bad sound quality. Lauren always so loud. Others not audible.

Way too liberal bias.

I’ve given up listening to most of the episodes, the host’s voice is just too shrieky for me. I’m sure your sound engineers can fix that by lowering the volume slightly or suppressing some of the highs, more body to the mid range and low? The guests sound fine, so maybe it’s just a case of fine tuning the (home?) sound room.

How is that possible given that the new law starting on May 1 whereby people with a higher credit score and higher down payments, will have to subsidize people with a lower credit rating who will put zero down hmmm?

The sound quality of this show is so low that it’s very difficult to listen to. I really want to hear the speakers, but when I turn on to listen, the first lady is extremely quiet static, and the other person is extremely loud. the range in volume is very difficult because you have to turn the volume up and down and up and down. Please fix the sound quality get a good mixer or some new microphones. I really like to hear the content

Audio levels of guests and host are unbalanced. Poor mics, bad sound. Some good guests and topics, but can’t get take the audio issues. Disappointed.

This podcast is good for following financial news and is relevant if you’re an investor, but many of the guests encourage overtrading stocks, bonds, commodities, etc. Whatever your plan is, stick to it and hold for the long term. “Sector rotating” and other garbage encouraged here is a fool’s errand and rarely beats the major indices.

Great content and ideas. Love the show. One characteristic that needs improvement is the speaking of the hosts and guests. A few uhs and ums is fine but if presenting podcasts is your profession then fewer is expected. Too many filler words detracts from the content and ideas discussed.

Tesla Episode: The guest was talking about shorting Tesla. Of course he is going to sound like an expert bc it’s a bear market. What price did he short the stock at? What price did he buy it long during the bull market. How much money did he make on Tesla overall? Once all this is disclosed then I would be willing to listen. I bet he has been shorting Tesla since 2017 and lost tons of money and finally this year recovered some of his losses

Barton’s should be ashamed of this podcast. I listened to two of them and could not make myself stick with either. The quality of the analysis is trite and subpar

Nothing has changed since the Dec 2021 review, two years later. I’m considering unfollowing despite the good quality of guests and content.

One would think that Barrons could afford decent production quality. The content is OK, but painful to listen to like two tin cans and a string!

i just discovered this pod cast. Love it!! Learning a lot. I listened to “Update on Healthcare Investing “ Sept 22 2022.. Something came up about at some point both Vaccines will probably compete against one another and at that time the companies would have to discuss the benefits of one over the other. i look forward to that day because the companies will then be required to release all data and adverse events of their respective medications. Pfizer is claiming their vaccine is safe but I question this. since not only are they not showing this data, its my understanding the government has agreed it will never be publicly released. What are they hiding??? I know a lot of people who have developed MS, arthritis in the hands, 40% hearing loss, prostate cancer, and died. A local hand surgeon has said they’ve received a lot of patients who have said they started having arthritis in the hands after taking the vaccine. Most of this occurred, including the death occurred within 24hr of getting the booster. Love for you to do a story on this.

Horrible episode on housing market. Swaminathan was laughing so many times in this housing episode I wanted to unsubscribe. So insensitive for her to laugh for every answer.nonsense another west coast junk with no depth about market. Unsubscribed. These guests should be banned from podcasts

The Financial Face Off Column Episode was a huge waste of time; the dumbing down of Barron’s and a stupid. Why waste your audience’s time on stupidity???

I’ve found the content to be pretty good, but these are poorly made podcasts. The sound quality is mixed and some hosts/guests are not articulate. They should listen to Barron’s Streetwise and take a cue from Jack Hough on how to create a well edited product.

This was a fantastic interview. Lisa is extremely knowledgeable & did a great job. I really liked the discussion on balance sheet reduction & again Lisa did a great job getting LM to explain how b/s reduction might unfold

Content is interesting, but sounds like they are recording on their iPhones.

Good content, well moderated. But the audio quality is poor. I know Barrons/Dow Jones can do better.

Why are the voices sound like crap not worth listening too . You’re programs must be doing very poor u cant afford program director that knows what he’s doing . There to many free good programs to listen to see ya I deleted u from my list

show was very interesting. however, al was very difficult to understand and there was an echo. he needs a better speaker setup like the other two speakers so we can hear clearly.

While the content is good, you’d think at this stage in a pandemic they would be self aware enough to realize almost every episode has poor quality audio and cringeworthy noises. I actively avoid it now in favor of Motley Fool, Seeking Alpha and CNBC content.

Who is this racist that continually refers to white republican women in an episode this week? Is she white , black, brown or some other color? She should be cancelled and sent to a retraining camp to learn that people matter no matter what their preference is.

Just tried listening to 2 episodes. In the Housing Market episode the host comes thru loud and clear while the guest is barely audible. In the next episode on Banker Burnout, every 5th word was “ah” and “um”. Painful to listen. Barron’s should edit these before releasing.

The sound quality is horrible~ Barron’s can’t afford to hire an audio engineer? Sounds tinny and like it’s recorded on an iphone..

How could Barron’s disrespect such a brilliant author with a horrible interviewer. What’s with the constant mumbling and terrible audio quality? I just can’t believe the insane lack of care and quality in putting out repeatedly bad interviews - both from audio quality stand point and the choice of host. Get it together.

Also, do experts really believe WFH is here to stay? I love WFH. It is better for workers and businesses but the only WFH I expect to grow is companies from higher wage states hiring entry level workers from lower wage states. Definitely not expecting people to move from a city like NY to a city like Tampa and accept Tampa wages. I’m obviously generalizing but I’m sure most would prefer living in NY so living in Tampa and getting paid Tampa wages is lose lose. NY is expensive for a reason.

I feel the conversation on rental real estate market 2/20/2021 was very vague, anecdotal and provided no data, statistics or analytics. Additionally, it didn’t appear that the hosts were in sync with each other-asking a number of similar questions. I would like to hear more real conversations that included follow-up questions. Hosts were simply reading the questions in order. Thank you

The topics are good but the moderator has limitations. She interrupts guests frequently without adding to the conversation. There are also frequent occurrences of extraneous noise - either needs to get a better mic or quit shuffling papers.

Poor sound quality makes this podcast impossible to listen to.

Really interesting subject matter, but a reputable magazine such as Barron’s should be able to have better microphones, right?

Really like this show. Think the journalists should be supplied with better mics. Like one of those fancy Blue Yeti mics for voice quality.
