One of the Best podcasts on politics
I have enjoyed this podcast for a couple years. And I subscribe to the Patreon. Always very informed. Also the show doesn’t take itself too seriously. Great guests for topics on left politics, socialism, sports, black culture and much much more.

    Great podcast
Updates often and is well researched and well thought out with consistently great guests and varying topics. Love it!

    Good podcast, great discussions
Plenty of insightful dialogue as well as humorous quips with a variety of guests on a range of topics. The hosts are quite knowledgeable and present the discussions in a way that is accessible for everyone. Well worth your time.

this is a wonderful podcast… I absolutely love it

Great show, easy to listen to
The intro is…interesting…and sometimes it seems like it takes awhile to get into the main content of the episode because everyone’s joking around with each other, but I don’t really mind that, it gives it a relaxed feel. And my god are they persistent, episodes every day or two, not blocked behind a paywall either. Which honestly I wouldn’t mind paying for a lot of different shows but I really just don’t have the money for it. So I’m thankful there’s people like this around who help us feel a little less insane living around so many neoliberals and conservatives

    Heartbreakingly honest
Love these guys. Unique and helps me to make me feel less alone!

    Funny, political, and sharp analyses
Sometimes leftists podcasts can be super boring and sad (bc of the content that is being covered). This podcast feels like a party, like a dinner table conversation with those uncles and aunties that talk about politics. This last one with Tanya Denise fields was AMAZING! The only thing is… they intro song is bit much but hey we out here supporting y’all.
  • StoneGrounds
The intro music is so hard to get through.
It’s one thing how much it goes on and I’m a solid fan of death metal but the compressed sound is almost torture and I really can’t enjoy it during a drive if the first few minutes are just going to be like concrete slabs scraping together. Otherwise the commentary is very insightful. Just please fix the intro.

    Smart, Fun, Insightful
This podcast is a brilliant combination of serious consideration of important topics with just the right amount of humor and levity. It feels like you’re talking to the “adults in the room” because they are realistic and grapple with inconvenient but important topics that similar podcasts tend to avoid. But they manage to engage with this serious content without coming across as “doom and gloom pessimists” nor as “one true vanguard cultists”.

    THE BEST
Finally, an unapologetic leftist podcast that doesn’t obfuscate the primary issue of who has power and wealth and why? OH YEAH, and they are not afraid to laugh!!!! Such a breath of sanity in what can be the overly sincere, often humorless, American left-ish discourse. I love these guys!

Peace and Greetings to the Review Section
Great black Marxist podcast (which most are also live YouTube streams). I found this because of its numerous ties to The Michael Brooks Show (RIP), and you may have heard these guys on The Majority Report w/ Sam Seder. I’d also recommend Left Reckoning, Give Them An Argument, and Sublation Media for post TMBS Marxist podcasts. Very insightful discussions, by well read, intelligent, leftists. At times, they get into controversial topics, and the show has great guests. I must give 5 stars, and not just because Kuba will put me on a list of I don’t. Lots of content, plus it’s only $3 if you want extra Patreon content.

In Its Lasts Gasp, Midnight Cowboys Already on the Bus
This one’s in damage control mode. I’m guessing most of their views are either newcomers cycling through or folks who dip in for a few minutes to see what’s going on but lose interest at the tired the vaudeville numbers—The 50 Year Counterrevolution, Reparations R Bad, James Clyburn is Satan. The cliches have long been unbearable—fart sniffing, down the rabbit hole, in the weeds, I forget the others, but there’s a bunch. The unctuous corpulent one has a Rizzo Ratso kind of “I’m Walkin’ Here” energy when he gets wound up and the D list Valley Girl sidekick plays his Joe Buck to perfection. #SadClownism

Materialist analysis and non-sectarian left politics?
Sign me up! Seriously, this is rapidly becoming my favorite left podcast. Pascal and Jason are doing the lords work with these interviews.

    Revised review from Montana
The podcast has lost it’s spark in my opinion. To me it lends credence to the idea that social media platforms not only warp the minds of users but the content creators as well.

    Great Hosts and Fantastic Geusts
Always something new every episode, worth checking out if you want a deep dive into far left politics

Every single episode is an education
Heard Jason and Pascal on Sam Seder and haven't missed an episode since. Sam has been my daily listen for news and lefty takes for years, my fun boomer uncle that I just enjoy hearing talk. This Is Revolution is equally if not more enjoyable for these guys being closer to me in age and cultural outlook but the intellectual depth is just next level. I learn something significant and fascinating and deeply personally edifying every single episode. Guests and interviews are top tier. How these guys churn out so much quality stuff multiple times a week is a complete marvel. Basically the best audio-only thing I’ve ever consumed.

    Love
I started listening rather recently after Jason and Pascal were on Majority Report. At first I couldn’t quite dial in to their vibe so I wasn’t sure. However, a few episodes in I heard Pascal just go IN on Joy Ann Reid and that was one of the funniest things I have heard in a while! That sealed it—the whole thing opened up for me right then. This is a must listen for me
  • RealAceAttorney
    Informative and Hilarious
Jason, Pascal, and their crew of regular contributors keep things informative and hilarious. This show covers a wide range of topics, from Black revolutionary politics and foreign policy analysis to 80s cartoons and yacht rock discussions- this show is a must-listen.
  • Snowcrash2020
    Left Politics IS Black politics!
Fire! Jason and Pascal, plus a great group of regular panelists, get awesome interviews out of people. Good balance too.
  • Grillpilledx420
    Fix the mixing
Love the content of the show but whenever I listen on air pods or in the car, the music is way too loud and then I can't hear Jason introduce it
  • RioDelta
    New White Guy Listener
In a world of podcasts this is on my list. Very informative and educational. The latest episode with Finklestein is the best interview with him I’ve ever heard.
  • jmsprtlnlsn
    Volume
Don’t know if it’s just me but I have to turn it all the to max volume to hear the conversation/interview... then the music comes in at the end and kills me. Content is great!
