    I’ve tried a lot of hockey podcasts…
…and this is my favorite, by far. So many great takes on hockey…and F1.

Just figured out how to leave a review
    5 stars!

    Always look forward to it
Mal, Sam, and Georgia are always so much fun to listen to and I always look forward to new episodes to enjoy on my commutes. They break down current events across the NHL and the broader hockey and sports worlds with tact and wit and make the whole pod the perfect balance of funny and serious, condemning hockey's most grievous issues with always-smart takes and also cracking up and having a good time with the funnier day-to-day goofiness that goes on in the world of the Canucks (& Friends). Thanks Broadscast for always giving me something to brighten my drives to work!

Great podcast; thanks so much for it!
This is a can’t miss podcast; smart, fun, insightful, keen critical takes on hockey, Canucks, social inequality and political movements/issues that are too often ignored in sports discussion - and also popular culture too boot. I highly recommend. Much better than your usual cliched old hockey guy banter.

    A Perfect Balance
The Broadscast has long since been a favorite of mine, but I’m just getting around to leaving a review. Lately, this show has been one of my only ties back to hockey as life is a little too busy to enjoy the game (or stress about the dumpster fire that is the Canucks) as I usually would. Whenever my anxiety is at it’s peak, or I’m on edge while driving, I put on the latest episode of this podcast and I just end up feeling so much better as without fail, these ladies make me smile and laugh. It should also be noted that they provide refreshing takes on important social issues within the game of hockey and the world itself and are willing to prioritize the human element of sports, something I find to be lost in many podcasts. Keep it up! <3

    Amazing and Informative
This podcast covers a lot of important topics regarding the things that happen both on and off of the ice. It’s my hope that the Canucks can get good again soon, because this group deserves an amazing team to talk about. Keep up the great work.

How am I so late to this!
Incredible show, these women exemplify everything I wish the hockey conversations in my life were like! I’m ashamed it took me so long to discover this show and these women. A breath of fresh air. I get so excited every time I see the notification that a new episode is available. I am not even a Canucks fan and I can help myself. Do yourself a favor, check your 200 hockey man IQ at the door and give this show a listen, you might find yourself listening to the entire backlog of shows before long!

    Spin the Wheel of Chaos
I find myself waiting on the edge of my seat every week to hear what insight these ladies bring to the table. What other podcast is willing to point out all of the flaws with hockey culture on a consistent basis, provide tangible steps to make changes, AND make you laugh? Spin the wheel of chaos - the most diverse group of guests means never having an inkling of what’s coming next. Keep up the excellent work ladies, and don’t let anyone try to change who you are.

    VERY important.
Every podcast takes a backseat when a new Broadscast gets released. These women are knowledgeable, consistent, and always a fun listen. Their voices and takes should be amplified in any sports market.

    love you guys
You are such a breath of fresh air in the hockey podcast world. It’s great to hear women in sports in such a fun way. You rock, don’t ever change.

    Broads Rule, Stoolies Drool
I was moved to write this review when somehow Apple Podcasts decided to recommend Chiclets to me as something I might also enjoy after listening to this one. Hard pass. You guys are the best, keep up the great work!

    Fresh Takes
Finally a hockey podcast that covers all the topics I am interested in and isn’t afraid to cover nuanced and sometimes difficult topics!

    A great hockey podcast!
Every episode this all-star team brings their best! The hockey talk is great, the topics other than hockey are great! 5 Stars aren't enough for this pod.

I miss Canadian women, don’t tell my wife!
A refreshing take on my old hometown Canucks and sports in general. They had me at F1 and WAGs.

    [insert witty title here]
Listened to 10 episodes on two long drives and this podcast made my drive so much fun. I'll be listening to every episode from here on out.

    Hard to listen to
I’m pretty sure these people hate hockey and only enjoy complaining about the sport. I gave it a chance and listened to 2.5 episodes... I’ll never get that time back and that’s a shame

    Worth getting injured for?
I love this podcast so much! I listen in the gym and literally laughed so hard I dropped a weight on myself. At least I can listen while I recover? 🤷🏻‍♀️ But seriously, I was a little hesitant because 5 people is a lot but The Broads balance each other so well, I can’t imagine it differently. This is smart, funny, and engaging. I learn AND laugh. Also, it took my wayyy too long to understand 31 Thots but it’s now my favorite!

I wish I could think of a funny title...
There are 2 things the ladies of The Broadscast do extremely well: 1. Fight the patriarchy & misogyny. 2. Talk about sports. In all seriousness though, I really enjoy listening to The Broadscast. Dani, Georgia, Mal, Sam, & Vanessa are incredibly smart and funny and I love hearing their takes on hockey, sports, & pop culture. They are also great follows on Twitter and I highly encourage anyone to give them a listen and a follow! #MotteGirlSummer

    Thank You
It’s the podcast I knew I needed and often wished for but never imagined I could actually have. Thank you for carving out this space for hockey fans who want to express their emotions through Sandy Cohen gifs! Y’all are the real deal.

Been a fan from the very beginning ;)
As a self-proclaimed “sports guy” I love this podcast for catering to a different demographic. I’m learning so much that other other podcasts simply don’t cover. For example: ThE pLaYeRs HaVe PeRsOnAlItIeS?!? You’d never know based on how they’re portrayed by the mainstream coverage. Keep it up! Super helpful for getting to know other players and teams on the far side of the country. Sidenote: love the little mentions of Detroit! You bet we sucked this year, deserved the first pick, AND STILL swept the Canadiens 😈

    YES
Educational, hilarious; so happy to have found you, I refuse to listen to another Sports Dudes Podcast

    FINALLY
A hockey podcast that gets me

It’s always nice to hear a female perspective
The ladies of the Broadscast (brilliant wordplay, BTW) bring their knowledge of the game and passion for the Vancouver Canucks to the mike with a healthy dose of sarcasm. If you’re sick of hearing the same voices and takes, give it a listen. You won’t be disappointed!

    The best hockey podcast
I don’t know how it took so long to get a hockey pod that also includes stuff I want to talk about with my friends! Yes, I care that Capricorn’s are great athletes, yes I care that Voyn*v didn’t have to serve his full suspension for domestic abuse. Some people may not be secure enough to handle it, and that’s sad for them.

    Like a $400 pizza shirt
At first you’re like cool, then you’re laughing, and before you know it you’re hooked! The girls bring the humour, a fresh perspective and cover things not normally discussed for whatever reason. Can’t recommend it enough. 5/5 super expensive horrible bucket hats.
