This is my first podcast review. I wanted to thank you for putting together such an informative and unique show. Great work.

Combines finance, gambling and the mindset behind some big players in these spaces. We're kind of harnessing and disciplining the natural degenerate within, and applying it in constructive and interesting ways.

Just a wonderfully produced pod about finding edges, AP play, +EV decisions. Even more entertaining are the stories that come from finding out how people create those edges and the situations they lead to.

Cannot recommend this podcast highly enough. If you’re into gambling, math theory, and the intersection between being a nerd and beating the house for millions of dollars, this podcast is for you. The guests are varied and extremely interesting with different angles and stories to keep it fresh. The host, John Reeder, is an incredible producer and interviewer - he keeps the discussion flowing freely and edits the shows with surgical precision. Subscribe and check out all the episodes, but I recommend starting with David and Goliath, parts 1-2.

I have listened to all of these episodes. Most of the guest have a theme of having some type of gambling in their background, but they all have the common characteristic of looking for an edge in their field of interest

This is a really smart and well done podcast with great storytelling. I’m a gambler and investor and love this content!

I have listen to a few of the Pod Casts and the topics are interesting and relatable to life.

No matter how long an episode is I always want more. Clearly a labor of love and his passion for the subject shines through. Highly recommend.

Every show is a terrific listen of great stories and offers up a different way of thinking about gambling and risk taking. Always anticipating the next episode. Keep ‘em coming.

Each episode is absolute must listen content. It is crystal clear that each and every episode of this podcast is created & produced with meticulous detail.

I am so glad I found this gem of a podcast. Somehow they are able to some of the greatest gambling minds on the show and I am content of the show is constantly good from episode to episode.

Great show. Well produced. Great voice for audio (and maybe also great face, for audio). Top notch, high value interviews and reporting. I’d ask for for episodes, but that would screw with the formula. This isn’t content for the sake of content, it is highly curated, difficult to secure inside knowledge. Inspiring, well done.

I do a lot of driving and podcasts are my primary entertainment- Risk of Ruin is simply spectacular. The in-depth stories, interesting situations, ingenious people who are highlighted and their fascinating approaches usually leave me wanting more. He clearly puts a ton of thought, effort and time into producing each episode and never fails to tell a story that is worth listening to. From a transparent ride-along journey into the life of a professional blackjack player to the fascinating life of a professional poker player to the history of and techniques used to hack credit card points to the background and methodology used by a hedge fund manager…the topics are varied, the stories told by and about real people are often unexpected and always fascinating. Whether their experiences are good, bad, gritty, fun, scary…the way that his stories unfold allow the listener to almost live the story right with whoever has actually done it. It’s as if the listener is there…right in the middle of it. This is the ONE podcast that I never miss and cannot remember one episode that wasn’t worth my time to listen…making my time spent traveling miles and miles of miles and miles melt away. I listen to a bunch of podcasts fairly regularly, Risk of Ruin is the first one I look to for a new episode.

World class production value and story telling. Well done. Best gambling and investing podcast on the web by far.

Great gambling stories! Love the host and the stories from different perspectives and gamblers.

I have found each podcast to be extremely interesting. The stories go as far back as the 1980’s and the people interviewed went to great lengths many times to keep under the radar. I appreciate the abilities / skill sets these individuals and teams had and listening to how they beat the house. Thanks Mason

I listen to a lot of podcasts and very rarely review them but this one deserves the few minutes of time. Considering the subject and how little content there is out there this show has an astounding quality level. You’ll think you’re listening to an NPR podcast that just happens to be about gambling. Well done and keep them coming.

In 10 years of listening to podcasts, this is the first review I have ever decided to leave. This show is amazingly good, and deserves every bit of praise that I can muster. If you are at all interested in gambling, the format and commentary he adds to these shows are absolutely masterful. My only issue with it is that there aren't more episodes. Well done, please keep them coming!

I love this series about gamblers and their stories from the trenches. I'm not a gambler myself but I have always stories about these people willing to risk it all and walk a completely unconventional path. Great production as well.

This is a first rate podcast featuring real-life stories about gambling, advantage play, probability and as the name suggests “the risk of ruin”. Well produced, thoughtful and lacking the chatty filler too often found in podcasts.

The Made In America pod Part 1 & 2 was the most professional, interesting and well put together pod I have ever heard. Anyone can put a podcast together, but not many know how to produce it and make it sound like a true news story. Straight to the point, selfless and the three subject characters are all first class. Well done!
