Maia seems like a nice and bubbly co-host but I deeply miss the in depth and knowledgeable conversation about investing that Sim had with Sonya. There seems to be a shift in the podcast and it feels like Sim has all the investing knowledge and Maia is there for comedic entertainment. When she does talk about investing, it seems as though Maia is reading off of a script and it doesn’t sound like a natural back and forth conversation. Maybe if Maia became more educated on investing in her own right or Sim brought another knowledgeable co-host on the show the spark of what this podcast once was could come back.

I subscribed to one of their sponsors, Moby, based on rave recommendations by the GTI team, under the $99 promo with the assurance that I could cancel my subscription for a full refund within 30 days. The content was not what I had hoped for so I decided to cancel. First, you cannot cancel through the app or the website, you have to email customer support. Moby responded that they would cancel my subscription and issue a full refund—and they did cancel my subscription but failed to issue the refund. I have followed up THREE times by email since July 2, 2024 about my refund, received nothing but lame responses about how they were “working on it”, and have yet to receive it. Here we are in August. This product was not only a complete disappointment from a content perspective, but a total scam. Do not recommend.

I have recommended everyone I know to listen to the first few episodes - but I especially loved the latest release about the Magnificent 7. The hosts really laid out the stats in a way that was easy to understand. When the jargon gets too dense, they break it down for us. Fantastic work!

From one side of their mouth they are trying to make money. From the other side they make fun of the common working man. Whatever.

This account has made anti-semitic remarks on Instagram. I wouldn’t trust their advice with a ten foot pole.

This is the only podcast that I have not gotten sick of. The hosts’ voices are soothing and neutral and very easy to listen to for hours. The audio is a little rough sometimes, but honestly, the content is so perfect, that it doesn’t really matter, and the girl know it. I wish I had more people in my life to recommend this to, I love it so much and I know all the girlies, especially this under 35, need this.

Love this podcast, love the content, but my hearing is going to go one of these days because I turned the volume up all the way and then the intro song (or something else) starts blaring in my ear. I can also hear when some one is cooking in your kitchen, when you’re taking notes, and when airplanes fly overhead. I cannot stress this enough, I love you guys and the podcast but the audio is slowly driving me insane.

this podcast and even bought the book (and read it in just a few days). My only comment - please please please speak a bit louder or hire a sound engineer to somehow adjust the volume. It’s such a bummer - the content is amazing but it’s so hard to listen sometimes.

I have been loving this podcast. Sim and Sonya have great back and forth, well thought-out questions, and explain everything in relatable ways that are easy to understand. They are truly so smart, fun, and inspiring for all millennial women out there! If you’re interested in starting to invest, but don’t know where to start, this podcast is for you.

Complex topics broken down into bite-sized portions, easily chewed and digested. Thank you for making investing this much more accessible!

I really want to listen to the show but one of the hosts is an S whistler. Maybe different mic equipment to soften it?

I know this podcast is packed with great information but I just can’t hear the hosts talk. Very frustrating.

I’m so interested in investing and personal finances now! Listening to Sim and Sonya explain things made it all so clear and manageable. Instead of doing things based on what I was supposed to do, I actually understand and I’m excited about investing.

Great podcast! They really simplify complex topics in an easy to understand way. I tried a lot of investing podcasts before this but despite being for “beginners,” they used complex jargon. This podcast is PERFECT for people like me who don’t know anything about investing. THANK YOU!! ps My only suggestion would be to make sure both people are close to the microphone because sometimes it’s hard to hear both people!

This podcast has ignited a flame inside of me. Just by listening to their insight, Sim and Sonya have encouraged me to be more mindful with my money. Sim & Sonya are fantastic and have completely changed my view on investing. They break down the stock market, investing, and financial terms in an easy-to-understand way while also empowering women (and men!) to take control of their finances and money. They help teach people of any age how to take the right steps to set themselves up for success and are an overall joy to listen to!

This podcast is amazing and I’m so glad it exists for women and I have learned so much. My one criticism is that there is absolutely no balance between your two voices. One tends to whisper and the other laughs loudly into the microphone while my speaker is on maximum volume trying to hear the other one. :(
