I’m so sick of these podcasters who give some info about cases but make you have to pay for the entirety. Does no one realize that we are in a bad economy that’s worsening every day? I’m 65 and disabled. I’m currently freaking out that I, along with millions of others, am seeing changes in Social Security and Medicare that will affect my quality of living. For years podcasts have been a way of hearing about news, laughing at comedy, getting mental health info etc. at no cost, or at least costing by choice NOT force. I am unfollowing all podcasts that are forcing me to pay to hear all of their content. Greed….u shud all be ashamed.

This is amazing because in school in history I have sooo much trouble with paying attention, but with wmmm I have zero problems getting my adhd brain to focus.

This podcast is fun and lighthearted while also giving me interesting facts and theories about things. I love listening while I drive or run errands and it is always entertaining.

I have tried on so many occasions to listen to this podcast because I love the topics they have. I listen to many, MANY other true crime podcast also. I just can’t do it. In the recent episode, I couldn’t even make it 13 minutes in before I turned it off because all I could focus on was the other person saying “yeah” ”uh-oh” “yeah” “right” “yeah” literally the entire episode. I love the banter, don’t get me wrong. It just takes away from the person telling the story when the other person is constantly talking also. I’m sure that you can’t tell on YouTube that easily but it is so distracting on podcast. I hope this does not come out rude, I just wanted to state my opinion for others who might feel the same way.

I’ve been a listener for over a year now. I love this podcast because it’s everything I find interesting. You get a little bit of everything. I feel like I am decompressing with some old friends. As someone who works in special education, brain breaks are much needed. It’s also nice to listen to a fellow ADHDer.

Do you guys rehearse before/listen to the episode after the recording? It seems like you don’t have any script at all, and because of that episodes seem very messy, disorganized and confusing. Also, why it’s so hard to research the correct pronunciation of the names and places in the episode? The way you two grown adults struggle to put your mind into words and call it a podcast is pitiful

Oh lord I'm going to pee my parents laughing I’m listening to this podcast as I am cleaning it is so freaking funny. I never thought I’d like podcast before. I love listening to the stories. These women come up with I started at episode one today, November 2023, so I have some catching up to do but I’m also in the middle of packing moving cleaning so I have plenty of time to listen for the next few weeks, I love their stories. I love their personality. I love their humor and so far their opinions match up with my opinions on different situation’s and people in their stories I can’t wait to hear more.

I’ve been listening to this podcast since the beginning and I find myself re-listening to some episodes (The Sodder Children is my fav) because it’s just so good!! Y’all bring so much light into this world. Listening to y’all automatically puts me in a great mood. I am so glad I stumbled upon these hysterical, smart, strong women who eventually stop laughing and get through a story over 2 years ago! It’s like hanging out with your besties twice a week! I love the eclectic selection of stories they choose but my faves are the witchy ones. They are always so upbeat and positive I feel happier after listening even after some twisted stuff. They are definitely on the lighter side as far as their subjects go so if you’re not a big fan of all the nasty details that some share with you,this is for you also safe to listen most of the time with kids around.

I absolutely love this podcast! I love how in one podcast you get so many different types of stories. I also have ADHD and the change of topics keeps me super interested! I binge listened to the entire podcast last year and knew I had to support them on patreon. I’ve been a patreon subscriber for over a year now and it’s 100% worth it!

I love this podcast so much!! they do such a good job on all of the podcast episodes and are so funny. They are good at making jokes through the “tension” of the podcast, ( not in a disrespectful way) this has been my favorite podcast i’ve listened to about murder and mystery stuff.

I didn’t see the need for the second person. Loved the way the stories were told, would definitely listen to her, got annoyed listening to the one word answers from the second person.

This had to be the best podcast I have found in a long time. Coming from a small town of elkton Ky not to far from the little green men of Kelly Ky. I absolutely love your show it is clean and with all the information me and my kids love to listen. Please keep this show going and remember you alway have a friend in western Ky….

I love this show and it’s crazy interesting stories. What I’m not thrilled about is that the story tellers have a normal vocal volume and then really quiet and then normal and then quiet and then normal and then quiet. Please work on the sound quality. I completely understand that people don’t talk in a monotone manner but it’s the quiet parts that are troubling. I’m having to rewind to hear parts like 2-3 times and then it doesn’t become fun to listen to.

So far I’m on episode four and it’s amazing it sends shivers down my spine but also makes me laugh so hard it’s a good mix of magic, spooks, and laughter over all great podcast 😁 (Sorry for my grammar or spelling I’m bad at that stuff also my nails are making it hard)

I’m listening for the first time ever as I type. The person telling the story “Megan” is great, but the partner is constant with the okay, yeah, what, wow, after every single sentence and it’s too much. It gives Igor Vibes- a little sidekick just making noise to boost the mad scientist’s stories.

I wasn’t to thank you all so much! Last year I moved across the country from Cincinnati to Los angles for work “I’m pastry chef” I went to collage in Louisville at Sullivan and my boyfriend is from woodford county! I discovered y’all’s pod cast about 5 months ago and have binged my way through it! Every time I’m feeling home sick and lonely I play this podcasts and hearing y’all’s southern drawl feels like taking to my friends and family. I love the stories, but the pregnant host needs to learn how to tell the stories. She is very confusing to follow. Just to add, I was trying to be constructive and hoping you’d take it and try to be more concise . You’ve made it a joke and mocking so I will be done listening. Which is a shame, because I had planned on joint patreon. And fyi, please go back and actually listen with open minds, Kara is difficult to follow even at the beginning of your pod, not just since pregnancy. Good luck to you and I wish you both well.

I appreciate the hosts compassion and consideration for all kinds of listeners. The most important thing in a podcast for me is giving a quick warning for the specific types of horribleness, because somethings I need to skip. Also, this podcast has a lot of different stories that I hadnt heard of before!

The host talking is easy to listen to. The person saying ‘yeah’, ‘right’, ‘yeah yeah yeah’ is completely distracting. Unfortunate.

After crunching through all of the episodes in just 2 weeks I feel as if these ladies are my friends. I Absolutely love the accents and quirky speech patterns. This podcast is OK, for the most part I like it. Don’t listen regularly but will check in every now and then. I know it seems like a small thing but I have a hard time getting past the intro music I stopped following because when it just shows up in my feed it always catches me off guard when it starts playing. It is really shrill, very high-pitched. Really really unpleasant, especially with headphones. Skipping ahead 30 seconds from the start helps, just make sure you’re ready to hit the skip button! Lol
