Pronouncing the word frustrated as fustrated is like pronouncing the word library as libary.

Pinball content was good until narcissism, copium and massively unstable personality got in the way. I’ve seen him rant on his own viewers then delete videos out of shame repeatedly. He has made enemies out of every pinball and arcade enthusiast in NYC including operators but still begs people to come hang out with him so he can show his games to them. His word means nothing and you shouldn’t trust anything he says. And he isn’t even good at street fighter—the game community he was kicked out of before he latched onto pinside posting (I mean pinball? I think he plays pinball?)

I want this for Free ;)

Kaneda, your non paying public keeps you honest as a podcaster. A smarter choice would have been to keep it the way it is with a patreon for those who wish to support you and the free podcast that goes out to everyone. Good luck getting more people to pay without constant free content.

I was looking forward to a podcast that would keep me up to date on what is happening in the pinball industry. This podcast could be it, if the host didn’t let his ego get in the way. Way too much Kaneda and not enough news. His opinions are his, but his background does not warrant sharing it. He is not an industry insider, he is not a designer nor a businessperson. He is a fairly knowledgeable fan. If he really wants a quality podcast, he needs to listen to some of the other professional podcasters like TechMemeRideHome and learn. After one podcast, with a fascinating guest, I had too much of this host and stopped downloading.

I switched to the pinball show on the pinball network. This show has become more about send me money. I have listened to my last show.

The negative reviews are by weak minded people who can’t handle truth in its near unfiltered form. People dont like to be challenged and they don't like their myopic world view questioned. You either want your giblet tickled by industry shills who drive a rainbows and unicorns narrative as if the pinball manufacturers aren’t siphoning your wallet like a vampire on heroin whilst giving you toppers made with 120 bucks of materials for 1000+. OR you want food for thought. You want unfiltered analysis, this is a OP ED podcast. If you are a pinball lemming, this isnt the podcast for you. If you are grown adult with some semblance of intelligence and individuality then this is the podcast for you.

Used to be a 4 star show, but his humorous bellyaching has grown into infantile rants about a game (pinball) he is terrible at. He gets 2 stars instead of 1 for holding comapanies accountable for playfield issues, but his opinions and takes on games are for the whiny, rich collectors only. His idea of a great pinball machine is simply one that has a bunch of luxury/unnecessary bells and whistles that comes with a $12-$15k price tag, and one that plays movies or concerts on a giant LCD monitor in the background. Never mind the actual layout and gameplay - you know, the thing that makes pinball what it is and what it has been for 75 years. It's a game Chris, meant to be played competitively amongst friends. Not some expensive trophy to show off to admirers and friends of an exclusive club. You've lost the plot. Unsubscribed.

The only critical, no-holds barred podcaster that is missing from this hobby.No sponsors, or high-pitched buy, buy, buy, garbage from several other pinball podcasters. The only podcaster that has the fortitude to discuss manufacturer defects and other issues that no one else discusses.

Gives an honest opinion and industry/hobby news without using the juvenile morning zoo sound clips and screaming.

This podcast is the only true pinball podcast out there! He’s just telling the truth and not trying to sell machines! Ya I might disagree with him once in awhile but most of the time he’s right! Saying what we are all scared to say! Keep it up!

A great podcast to get the most up to date news and information on pinball. To the point and entertaining. Listen for 2 weeks and you’ll be hooked. 2 weeks.

By far my favorite podcast. Kaneda’s insight to the manufacturers and their marketing strategies is great. Always entertaining and informative.

Kaneda tells it like it is with scoop and relevant info on the latest pinballs and the companies and personalities that make them . The only show you really need to listen to be up to date on everything in the pinball community. Entertaining show . Highly recommended.

This podcast is a real asset to the pinball community - with a larger than life personality as the star. The show is fun to listen to. Best place for news, rumors, and opinions about the pinball hobby - as well as some pretty good insight on marketing and business along the way.

Kaneda puts out a great show. There are other pinball podcasts. But none that I have found to be as entertaining as this one.
