MontanaBeavInsightful & Funny!I started following the Beavs from Montana b/c of Wayne Tinkle. Then I found this pod, and now I’m hooked! **Sorry about the bot-like message about Sling. You guys are awesome. And it’s my fault for not being there in Vegas, I will be have to change that next year.

A Friend of the PodcastThe Best Podcast in the WorldLook, I’m not going to tell you that this podcast gets a lot of attention. I’m not going to tell you the content is life changing (in fact OSU basketball has been rather upsetting so far this year). But the way that Andy and Sam appreciate and apply attention to Beaver basketball is something that could save all marriages in America if any couples exhibited 10% of the love that these two have for this team. This podcast can teach us all something about dedication. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows in Beaver land these days but the way Andy and Sam stay dedicated to Beaver basketball is enough to make you shed a tear a little. It’s enough to remind us all that while there are a lot of fair weather fans, the truly great fans are these colossally horrific rain, sleet and snow fans. And no one identifies with this better than these two guys running the Payton Years Podcast. The next best thing about this podcast is the purity of it all. Free from all ads, free from any type of editing or quality sound. It’s a true low budget production with that will surely command the attention of ad buyers everywhere in no time. But I know the Payton Years doesn’t do it for the money. With a team like the Beavers, you know if you are allotting this much of your time to making this podcast, then it has to be for the love of the game. Again, it’s the purity of it all that puts joy in my heart. When you can say the things I’ve said about the Payton Years and mean it, then it’s really hard not to believe that this is the best podcast in the world. And I say that knowing I don’t listen to literally any other podcasts. Either way, keep up the good work fellas. You are doing gods work.

Lee_PierceGreat Podcast!A terrific podcast hosted by two individuals with an alarming amount of Beaver knowledge. Sam and Andy balance their guarded optimism with the sometimes harsh reality of rooting for Oregon State, all while providing nuanced takes on the program. They also do a good job of discussing the other pac 12 teams, so if you have even a passing interest in division 1 west coast basketball, this podcast is for you.

stevewolfeGreat OSU hoops content. The Payton Years? I think I’ve listened to every episode, have you guys explained the name? I don’t think you guys are old enough to be GP1 and are too young for GP2. Are we talking GP1 or GP2 eras? I was there for the GP1 era and never missed a game. Been suffering ever since. Also, you guys need to provide ways to get listener feedback, an email address or Twitter account. Keep up the great work. I really appreciate it.

YTim4I'm in.Not even 10 minutes into my first listen and I've been laughing the whole time. Thanks guys for the actual perspective on our sorry program that was once … so great. Sigh. Long live the Orange Express.

rome reefGo beavsLove the show! Thank you for being the only show in existence/history to truly cover beav basketball. I’ve been lucky enough to be a season ticket holder since I was born and honestly believe we will make the NCAA tourney before I die without a Payton, Thompson, or tinkle on the roster. Go beavs! Jesse
