This is an incredibly educational and accessible podcast. It is so important for people to understand the often terrible ramifications of even what people think is non- harmful and even touted as “beneficial “ drug use. This podcast gives you the actual data from scientific research and let’s you hear experts discuss the issues presented.

Binging on Netflix will kill time in the evening, but binging on this podcast may keep drugs & addiction from killing your kids! As a college health expert & family physician, I highly recommend this podcast to learn about the true medical risks of today’s concentrated THC products & other drugs. The host is an experienced ER doctor & her variety of knowledgeable guests will bring you back for every new episode.

The show is occasionally redeeming when it brings in substantive guests with insightful stories, but more often than not it’s just the host derailing them with “WaIt IsNt CaNnAbIs AcTuAlLy DaNgErOuS?!?” I’m not sure which bible camp is bankrolling her, but it jeopardizes what could otherwise be an interesting podcast by insisting on anti-cannabis propaganda. I don’t use weed, but this show’s insistence on shoehorning the devil’s lettuce into every conversation made me feel compelled to make note of it.

The host does a great job of providing a broad context to the many individual, occupational, and societal perspectives and consequences of substance misuse. Smart and even keeled discussions. This is a rare gem that moves beyond typical drug prevention jargon.

Hilariously and dangerously propagandistic - it’s a shame that these are our nation’s “top experts” in addiction. Next generation please.

Excellent podcast to expose the ludicrous claims being made in cannabis shops. Very frightening on behalf of our children and the collapse of our society.

Very informative and well worth my attention!

I really enjoyed this episode. Learning about the initiatives of the White House/ONDCP was enlightening. It was cool to hear about the nonpartisan policies to combat addiction and the impact of the drug epidemic in a time anything involving the White House is polarizing. Obviously, being able to listen to the Drug Czar’s (Director Carroll) perspective was very interesting. I look forward to tuning in to listen to Dr. Lev as she educates her audience in future episodes!

This morning I listened to the first episode (only one out thus far) and found it to be very engaging and thoughtful. The host is clearly very knowledgeable and cares about the subject and her patients. From someone not in the medical field, Dr Lev crafts her episode in a very approachable way that won’t get you bogged down in medical jargon. I recommend this podcast for almost anyone, since it has information relevant to anyone.
