This show is amazing. This is the education the world needs when it comes to hunting. Also the sound of the podcast is perfect!

Robbie does a great job in looking for all points of view, inviting guests from varied backgrounds and opinions, and having a frank discussion of the role of hunting in conservation. Bravo!

Great podcast for anyone interested in hunting or wildlife! More hunters these days should give more effort to thought provoking conversation and understanding factual information as opposed to celebrity hunters and social media. This is a great podcast for gaining some of that insight!

Robbie does a great job bringing so many aspects and perspectives together to really dig into what hunting is at its core. Regardless of the guest or their stance on the topic, the objectiveness and sincerity is a breath of fresh air. I wish all hunters and non-hunters alike could come together and really understand the truth about hunting. We could all gain from healthy, mindful conversations and Blood Origins brings that in everything they do!

After listening to Rob and Cody, I feel more informed on Wildlife Management and conservation issues around the globe. They are doing an amazing job of highlighted the enormous benefits Hunting brings to society, habitat and wildlife conservation! Make this podcast a daily listen must!

Too many podcasts focus on the tag, the gear, or the kill. Blood Origins focuses on everything and everyone from international hunts, to non hunters, to the people making regulations. Anyone looking to expand their knowledge of conservation should subscribe.

These guys aren’t afraid to cover *every* controversy in the world of hunting or showcase opposing POVs, which makes for an engaging and entertaining podcast. Plus, Robbie’s South African accent reminds me of the family that “adopted” me when I moved to the US and introduced me to Marmite, rusks, biltong and droewors! Keep up the great work!

I have been following the Facebook page tor a while now and finally decided to get into listen to the podcast. The podcast is full of great info and great conversation about a large variety of conservation efforts. Really enjoying the podcast, share with your friends it’s a great resource and conversation starter.

Y’all do a great job at tackling discussions that actually mean something to the hunting industry. A lot of podcasts are opinionated or story telling in the hunting collective. While blood origins has this side to it the main purpose shines through and that is to keep people informed of issues at hand. Keep it up

Huge breakthrough in my opinion in how we “market” hunting to the non-hunting, and anti-hunting communities. Loved the discussion about how modern society is “disconnected” from its sources of food and this leads to a great divide over the values related to hunting. Very important to get the right messages out there and support each other as hunters and gatherers.

I’m so glad Blood Origins is a voice for the hunter and true conservationist. They bring balance to the lopsided and false environmentalism that is so prevailing in the public eye. Stay the course Blood Origins!

I love this podcast. Been following Blood Origins on Instagram for a few months. Finally started listening to the podcast this week while at work and haven’t found an episode I haven’t liked since. Very informative and creative podcast. I love how diverse the guests are.

Amazing pod cast. I raise free-range poultry, literally they can walk anywhere they want, zero boundaries. It’s simply amazing watching them pick the ground. Mice, cheese, meat, grasshoppers…all things they pick before any grains or seeds. Along with humans, many of the perceived herbivores need organic protein for best health. Forever a meat eater

All substance with no filler, factual and insightful. To understand you must listen, to grow you must expose yourself to the world and this podcast does just that. Sure this is related specifically to hunting but the lessons can be applied to others areas and interests within life as well.

The guys behind this podcast are really smart and have a wealth of knowledge behind their unique perspective. Love the diversity of guests and the African viewpoints as well. Recommended to anyone interested in hunting or wildlife issues.

The future of hunting is taken for granted by many, in my opinion. Our pursuit and passion is in a precarious position and we trust that non-hunters stand with us for the privilege and the voting booth but this alliance is tenable. We all have a circle of influence and Blood Origins is helping to provide language and a narrative to work this influence. Thanks Robby!!

Just starting listening to this podcast after my friend, Sportswoman Courtney, was a guest. As a female hunter myself it is refreshing to listen to a podcast that asks real questions. Can’t wait to hear more!

This isn’t your run of the mill good ol’ boy hunting podcast. Robbie and his guests present both personal opinion and science based conservation facts in a classy and respectful manner that makes this enjoyable for both hunters and non-hunters alike.

I love listening to Blood Origins because it offers an amazing array of guests (ranging from lifelong hunters/industry professionals to non-hunters and even opponents of hunting) with unique perspectives. The magic of Blood Origins comes from its host Robbie, who has the patience and skill to foster compelling conversations. The result is a podcast with incredible nuance which tackles the most critical issues facing hunters today. Blood Origins is a powerful force which shares the ‘why’ of hunting and provides a roadmap for the preservation of our sport.

Blood Origins does a fantastic job with these. The information is great and the mission is even better. The conversations always get the the heart of the topic and Robbie doesn’t beat around the bush (pun intended). Huge fan and I’m excited to follow along and support this journey!

I’m really interested in the topics on this podcast but the sound quality on it is horrendous! I have good speakers I listen through but I just can’t listen to it cause of sound quality. Hope it gets better. I’ll keep trying but I can only make it through 5 mins before I turn it off.

I appreciate you all had Matt Rinella on to explain his position a little more. I have to say, I mostly agree with him and to add a little bit to that, I am an “adult onset hunter.” Oftentimes, when I get out in the wilderness, I see trash, beer cans, abandoned fishing tackle, plastic bags, shotgun shells, empty foam worm containers. And everyone I see that stuff, I wonder if I’m in the right group of people. I’m mostly alone when I hunt and fish. I read the Byzantine regulations for a year before pursuing big game and limited my small game to upland game with dogs until I had a good grasp on the regulations. I’m still learning from it all. R3 programs had nothing to do with my entry into the “sport.” I had almost no mentoring and have done all they legwork myself to find how what’s legal, hope to hunt, fish, and process game. R3 programs aren’t even on my radar and I think that their utility is pretty limited. Hunting is largely about mastering enough skills and getting in condition to go into the wilderness and kill and harvest game meat, trophies being an addition to the experience and ways to remember the moment. R3 presupposes people willing to do and capable of doing all that on their own will need assistance from strangers in just getting into the field. If R3 is truly successful, to go further, the animals will be pursued into extinction. The carrying capacity will be maxed out by hunters not the game they pursue. Anyway, there’s a lot more to it, but this is a review not an argument forum. I like the podcast. An upgrade on sound quality would be good. Keep engaging in difficult topics.

There is so much talk about hunting in South Africa, sometimes not good because of the fencing situation. I found that this answered a lot of my questions and gave me a much better understanding. Thank you

Love what Blood Origins is doing. Causing folks on all sides of hunting and conservation to think. The conversations aren’t just hunters beating their chest, it’s people that are for and against (and in between) hunting having conversations about “The Why” of hunting and its use in the realm of conservation worldwide. It’s beautiful, we need more of these types of conversations in all places of life.
