Disappointed to hear extremely biased reporting and deliberate twisting of the facts to paint an oppressor as the victim, despite the clear apartheid and genocide we’re witnessing.

I used to love listening to this podcast to start my mornings, but how are you not going to mention that it is Veterans Day? The whole reason I listen is to start my day with the latest news.

Such a weird podcast for news. They're loud and proud of holding a specific bias, which makes this podcast an untrustworthy listen. To be an honest source means you hold EVERYONE to the same standard. But that’s too difficult to do I guess. Avoid if you're looking for news. Listen if you want to hear them constantly bash one side of politics.

This is “straight talk” from a liberal New Yorker. Represents that perfectly. I like to balance it out with some NPR upfront, but I have a short commute so this is a quick go-to for the news. Keep it up!

I have been following betches from the get and really enjoy the content they put out but this Morning Announcements pod is so disappointing. It is extremely one sided and not fair partisan press. Really upsetting to hear a female voice speaking this way.

I respect everyone’s rights to their own opinions. It is possible to report news for both sides without making one side feel sandpapered. You are far left. We get it. Wish this kind of quick telling was available from an unbiased lens.

Sami is a garbage human being. I hope see sees this. She is arrogant, ignorant, and utterly convinced she is right 100% of the time Her "journalism" is amateur hour and unprofessional. I think she just has ugly girl syndrome trying to rely on her brain instead of her looks but it's a shame that she was jilted in that area as well

Sami, This show is exactly the opposite of what you say. The show doesn’t roast the current administration. The only roasting I hear every day is Trump and the Supreme Court. Why are you not roasting the President and his administration that is by far a circus 🎪 show with a bunch of incompetent clowns 🤡?

I LOVED this podcast, the concise but thorough reporting to keep me in the loop across the board in a few short minutes has been so helpful. That said, I am very passionate about the ongoing genocide in Gaza and since this podcast began discussing it always seemed a little skewed. Todays episode especially, noting the pro Palestinian protests are becoming violent and antisemitic is so incredibly misleading. It is overwhelming evident based on the actual footage that is coming from these protests that this reporting is not painting a clear picture of what’s happening. Just a little disappointed.

I have listened to this podcast several times and find it too far left.

The news part is good, but out of a 5 minute episode nearly 2 minutes of it is ads.

Quick, digestible, and informative. I kick off every morning with this while walking my dog and it does a great job keeping me in the know without being overwhelming.

Sami is regularly spreading misinformation on the current events in the Middle East. The only word for it is Zionism. Sami is complicit in gen0cide. 0/10.

Reporting and glorifying what the IDF commits while dismissing the war crimes and lies they committed is a huge disappointment. An integral part of news and journalism is being objective coverage with fair interpretation. Where is the headlines updating Palestinian children killed? Or the IDF commitment of war crimes. Even CNN and NYT have more balanced coverage. I highly suggest having someone who’s less biased and one sided contribute to the podcast equally. You can definitely do that while also honoring your heritage and your showcasing your struggle with grace. Do better please.

Thought I might’ve found a morning airshow that wasn’t pushing an agenda, but I thought wrong. Very one-sided reporting from a whiny nihilist.

Definitely has bias, but I think that could be said of most news podcast. I like the energy of the pod and it’s a nice quick way to start my morning and be a bit more informed on what’s going on

Meh. It’s okay- too much bias. I get the comedy and puns but clearly some important news from the other side of politics is being ignored. Not a neutral stance on things news related.

This pod truly is quick, smart, and funny every day! Love Sami’s consistency and ability to simplify complex info for any type of listener. Add it to your news - it’s the first thing I turn on in the morning.

I feel so bad for the host that she is always so negative and angry. This must be a sad life to live and I hope that she finds happiness soon! Additionally, she clearly thinks that she is on SNL with her sad attempts at jokes, but is trying way too hard and will never be funny.

I listen to this at the end of the day to digest all the headlines that are thrown around during the day. I love Sami’s tone and approach. She makes me feel less crazy. However, the new music is much less punchy and it makes the commentary less entertaining. I the fun music brought out the comedy of how ludicrous politics are. The more subdued music kind of makes it a more somber recap so I enjoy it less.

This podcast is part of my morning ritual. I love how Sami keeps me informed and makes complex news digestible and sometimes even funny! Love everything Betches does.

I love these quick short and to the point episodes!

My son (high school senior) and I listen on the way to drop him at school everyday. It’s a great way to start the day and spark conversation. The bite sized amount is a perfect breakfast news snack.

Within less then two minutes of listening, the host leftist ideology comes raging through as she can’t just give the news, but has to add her snarky, Karen, communist minded jabs. Not to mention it’s boring with no flavor. Don’t waist your time!

I love the morning announcements - I listen everyday and it keeps me informed and makes me LOL at least once per episode.

I’ve been a fan of the Betches sup podcast for a while now, but this is a great addition. I love being able to start my day with the quick headlines without having to doom scroll through Twitter. This helps me stay informed!

Sami covers headlines that I don’t read in my daily news consumption. If I listen to this podcast daily, I feel updated on the news and don’t have to consume other news if I don’t want to.

An every weekday listen! Quick grab of important news with sassy commentary. I listen every day without fail and wish it were on the weekends too, but Monday’s show does a great catch up of what went on. Thank you for keeping me informed!

Exactly what I’ve been looking for in a daily news summary. It’s a welcome departure from the standard news delivery style and format. Re previous review, with respect, the language at the end is fine by me. It’s 2022, most have moved on to relaxing about it except in formal situations. I’m happy this format is not formal.

Awesome quick morning news briefs. The F bomb at the end kinda took me out though. Feels unnecessary, and that’s coming from a fan of a good F bomb.
