ShattafèRefreshingly profound! Finally, intelligent and thoughtful writing that isn’t pretentious! I found this podcast and am obsessed. Very unique perspective on politics, religion, ego, humanity, just wow-HIGHLY recommend. Not for casual listening, it’s poetry at times, with searing messages and believable characters. Super impressive plz give it a shot

ArtBucketNever listened to the Silt VersesGay sex motel that eats people. Joe Biden sex coma.
-
QuietmilkBlown awayAs a long time student of cosmic horror and weird fiction, this is a project that Lovecraft would marvel at. (Sans-prejudice). It's a beautifully cared for and masterfully crafted audio drama that's worth every minute of your time. The cast is talented and entertaining and the plot is highly unpredictable.

mama bear in the usaWow. Just wow…I just finished listening to all 3 seasons in order, and I am again just blown away by this series. Kudos and deep respect to the writers for the universe they created. The voice actors are all stellar, and the soundscape really made me feel like I was “there” with the characters. The Silt Verses never gets old, rather each time I listen I make more connections and pick up on deeper themes.
-
quexxalHeartbreakingThe best audio drama I’ve had the pleasure to listen to, and so beautifully intertwined with connections to the world we live in today.
-
Drew' s CluesJust finished, and absolutely guttedBravo! That's all I can say. It's all I have left.
-
Axisx6AmazingOne of the best of its kind. Well written, original, and exciting. Carpenter is also wonderfully portrayed by Meabh de Brun and just an overall amazing character.
-
Kali eyesOne of the best!!!One of my favorite podcast series to date!!! The immerses the listener in its dark epic journey…great storytelling with characters that have a depth you can’t help but become attached to… Excellent work, I’m sad it’s over.

Azure2333BingedThis is a such good show that I binged. And then found their Patreon so I could feel not guilty for consuming such good content for free.
-
katsuerySound design is so good I get scaredMy title says it all — I forget sometimes how they do the sound design and my head literally whips around when there’s a scary sound 😭😭love how they do the intros too it’s so interesting. I’m only 6 episodes in so can’t speak fully to the story but all bodes well I love this show and these creators so much but this last season the character of Paige has driven me absolutely crazy (?!) anyway still will listen but I often need to skip over the writing of those parts
-
SingThatLove the show!I really enjoy the Silt Verses. I am starting season 2 and what i appreciate most is that the world created is so its own. Listen and let it draw you in.
-
junkbonesphenomenallistened to tsv after i am in eskew Changed Me and it absolutely lives up to the hype! one of the best fiction podcasts out there on basically every metric. writing, acting, sound design, it’s all fantastic. cannot recommend it enough.
-
davie123456743464445ExcellentThis and I am in Eskew are excellent. This is creepy and gripping with an amazing plot.
-
Nikomedesprofound and stunningincredible ideas, incredible writing, gorgeous sound design. there are moments of horror and betrayal in this that will take ur breath away. listened to the first two seasons in a fugue over three days and will be relistening frequently between episodes of season 3. my friend who’d already listened is pushing me towards running a game of the ttrpg with them. pray for me (DO NOT DO THAT!)

Tom9()Engaging world, deep charactersWhat if Lovecraft’s stories had more depth and a connected story (and he was less problematic)? You would have the silt verses. If you think you’ll like this kind of show, then you will. It’s extremely well done. Production is amazing, actors are great. I can’t say enough about this show, just listen to it.
-
ThisWarofYoursBest Horror Podcast Out ThereThis podcast is SO good. Production, writing, voice acting, and overall story are all fantastic. Mind the content warnings for horror stuff, but if you’re a horror fan, you’ll love this.
-
aybara_maxBeautiful Acting and WorldbuildingThis podcast feels exactly like an old radio play. No gimmicks to explain why it’s being recorded, just gives us the story and action and also cleverly weaves the credits into the narrative. Not overproduced with sound effects that drown out the fabulous acting. Love the exploration of new religions without soul and old religions corrupted.
-
QefatA favoriteThe sounds and story are lush and full, the characters are dynamic and interesting, this drama joins my top picks when people ask what podcasts I love.
-
Woodchuck413Wonderful showGreat story telling in the first season. I can not wait until morning to start season two. Five stars from me. Ty.

nickname 1939372It’s so goodHonestly maybe my new favorite podcast.
-
Exquisite.AshesQuite probably my favorite podcast of all timeI keep trying to write a long and eloquent review about why, but I'm helpless to encompass just how well it does everything I care about in a story. Also, the imagery is both unique and exquisite.

BWalk2007The Closest Thing to a Perfect Podcast I’ve ExperiencedMagnus Archives. OGOA. SCP Archives. Malevolent. Creepy. Nocturnal Transmissions. I’ve absorbed tens of thousands of hours of horror podcasts. If Silt Verses isn’t the top of that mountain, I don’t know what is. I legitimately can’t think of something they don’t excel at. The voice acting is unparalleled (Meabh de Brun has my favorite voice on earth), the writing is award worthy, and the production is outstanding. Any creators who are getting started or trying to improve should be studying TSV religiously, pun intended.
-
Dee CeaBest of the BestAs a chronic audiodrama listener, this podcast has shot up to an absolute stand out favorite of mine since it came out. The voice actors put forth incredible performances, and the writers keep you in that sweet spot of showing and telling. With every reveal and turn, I want to immerse myself further into the silty world.
-
clooneythescourgeThere’s something special about thisI listen to a lot of audio dramas . The world building and writing in this is second to non . Such a new creative concept . Couple episodes are groundbreaking for audio dramas in my opinion . Sound engineering is excellent .
-
OPJelloQueenIncredible Horror in a Well Developed WorldIf you’re able to look past the questionable audio quality of the first season, this really is a REALLY well done story. The characters are fun, their VA’s very well chosen… and the world concept is absolutely chilling. They do a wonderful job of depicting body horror while wrestling with the moral questions brought in by a corporate world dealing in Lovecraftian gods. But if you REALLY don’t like body horror I would skip this one. It’s definitely not my favorite form of horror but I do really love the story.
-
MS_dudeJust fantasticThis is an addictive, incredibly well written show that at times reaches high points few things do these days. It is an original and well thought out world with absolutely brilliant characters who are played beautifully. Truly the best, most consistent audio drama in existence.
-
HyzynImmersive and weird wonderful story conceptI love the whole concept and story design. I am only 4 chapters in and the immersive soundscape is amazing. Rusty Quill really found a wonderful gem with this one!!
-
Chef_NinjaInsanely GoodI dunno what these people be smoking, but I want some and I want it now. Top tier writing, even better voice acting. Hardcore Lovecraft vibes mixed with a grip of theological old world story telling. Completely unique in a world of mediocre audio dramas. 100/10

-
Hyacinth MilesSo Well-WrittenCreative setting and great characters. This is the type of writing that we don't get ready access to these days. Fully engaged in this story, keep it up!
-
CruisejessIncredibly AbsorbingI did not expect what high quality writing and acting could exist in a podcast. The story , character development, it’s all there. I’m obsessed.
-
5 star meistersingerDark, Beautiful Prose and Stellar VAsThis is currently my favorite podcast. And by that I mean I’m kind of obsessed. Okay, really obsessed. The writing in this show is absolutely beautiful. I have listened to the available episodes 3 times already. The dialogue is pretty good, sometimes great. The real beauty of the show is in the monologues though. Carpenter and Faulkner are both amazing in their monologues. They each bring a unique perspective and energy to what an being described, and the show really shines when they monologue back and forth in reverence of holy revelations. I am so happy the show is back from break. I cannot get enough of the world of TSV. Please keep this show going for a long time. (I also adore Eskew!!!)
-
Big PauliMan, this is greatI’m only three episodes in, and I’m totally hooked. Thanks for the excellent work.
-
Pookagirl17Outstanding!This is hands down the best podcast I’ve ever listened to. The quality and creativity that this is crafted with creates an engrossing experience from chapter one. The cast is excellent and delivers quality performances every episode. I literally have nothing to complain about here. My educational background is in creative writing with an emphasis on fiction and from a professional standpoint this is not only enjoyable to listen to but also really refreshing.
-
Proof05Engaging writing - but the audio quality is terribleThis is unlistenable without headphones. The audio levels are ludicrously low, which is a shame because the writing and acting are very good.
-
GlubShitoStellarPHENOMENAL horror podcast, better than just about any other one out there
-
Flic-RuffleBrilliant!Silt Verses takes fascinating ideas and characters and makes audio drama into a true art form.
-
crisptoasttartsGripping!Very, very beautiful show. The story telling is incredible.
-
Kobra4nowAudioNeed to fix narration. if that’s what it even is can’t hear in car.
-
karpbruhzAlmost perfectI’m five episodes in and wow! This podcast is a new favorite BUT it has some of the worst audio leveling I’ve heard. For example, One character will be speaking so low that I have to turn up the volume, and even then I can barely make out what they’re saying. Then another character or foley sound will play and it is SHOCKINGLY loud. If the audio were better, this would be a perfect five-star horror podcast.
-
MorrSettWell done. Dark and unforgiving….Good writing, overall good acting and… it stays steady. Not happy endings here but…. Good writing and production.

~ Violet ~Religion, poetry, horrorAbsolutely gorgeous and absolutely awful. A week after listening and I’m still depressed. The voice work and casting is great. Better than great. Way better. The actors are working with the kind of super flowery writing that’s extremely difficult to pull off the page and bring to life, and they manage it really well. And that in itself is a cool thing to explore in an Audio Drama. But also the story is very grim. Therefore, the listening experience is a dismal sticky smothering atmosphere — as intended. Real life is super grim and oppressive and sucky and pointless and absolutely ritualistically violent and spiteful and grotesque and deadly, too. There are barely any exaggerations here. So what the eff else are people supposed to write about? What else is honest besides the utter grimness of the worst of ourselves? “Words, like flesh, are food for worms. Today I offer them a feast.” So depressing. Technically, there’s an unacceptable volume jump between the very end of E2 & the very beginning of E3, and some challenging sound choices after that. Show could use remastering at that point for volume control … listeners might want to skip the headphones. Even on speaker it’s a distraction. Clearly this material is super far out of my zone of like, and the creators are working at a literary level that’s way over my head, with elements that repel me. Nevertheless, I did connect with it — most of the acting is phenomenal (one actor that started off brilliantly struggles a bit to find an authentic presentation of their character towards the end), the beauty of the language is undeniable, and the quest is almost enough to be a followable plot most of the time. Some of the action does get muddled (as is typical with modern audio dramas), but some of that seems deliberate … I think maybe sometimes it’s easier to hide a lack of intelligibility behind flowery writing and a dark quirky setting, and then if the audience can’t follow along, they’ll blame themselves (I definitely blame me). But I got the gist without too much struggle, more than that is beyond me … I’d have to cozy up more to the material than I already did, and I just can’t. It’s too depressing for me. But if that’s your thing, there’s lots to dig into!
