The 6 part mini series about parenting in hockey was so helpful.

Love the podcast, just started listening recently after seeing a lot of the clips on social media. Really enjoying the content as a hockey parent, player and Dad assistant coach of a first year U14.

This is an outstanding podcast. They share so many important details about the competitive world of club sports. Very honest with their assessments of what they think is meaningful worthwhile training / club teams/ etc. lots of stuff that people on the inside know but parents may not be familiar with. I run a lacrosse club, hold training clinics and coach and the messages and guidance transcend hockey. Keep up the great work. Chris - Atlanta, GA

I’m loving this podcast. It is extremely helpful for the youth hockey parent. Especially one that has no past understanding of how youth hockey works. My 10 year old developed a love for this game and it’s hard to know what to do next and this podcast helps guide you in the more appropriate and truthful direction. I’m just here trying to support my child’s dream and also be realistic about expectations for the future. Thanks so much.

I love that they set this up by topic mostly rather than interviews. Sometimes interviews get off track or go over a bunch of different topics, but sometimes I really want to dial in on one thing. They do a little casual talk most of the time at the start, but after that, they stay on topic. There’s topics I can listen to that apply to me as a pro player (particularly the ones about mindset and advocating for yourself), and also topics that help me learn more about how to be a good coach when I move into that world. On the coaching side, I really like how they explain the difference between general youth coaching and what age/type of player they personally like to coach. It helps coaches understand when players should start getting more serious about hockey and, for players, what it will really take to get to the NHL or even just the next level (AAA, college etc…) Great podcast!!

I have three boys playing the great game of hockey. This podcast offers great selection of relevant topics. It provides logical, experience-based explanations that help understand the many parts of youth hockey and athlete development so you can make confident decisions and support you kids in the best way. The best part of this podcast for me is in helping me develop a more complete picture.

Appreciate you both, as a father of a 12U AA, a removed from Minnesota pond player, part time coach, full time active duty Soldier. Your points blend into many aspects of life off the ice. Do an episode on the Minnesota hockey model, particularly as it relates to $$$.

Fantastic resource for Parents! Terrific knowledge based on their personal experience. Their humility understanding that learning doesn’t stop as players, parents and coaches creates a constant progression towards being better. Much Wisdom in Player development and parent education!

I have been a follower since episode 5. Coach Andy and Eric apply so much to essentially anyone’s daily lives/craft or achievement they are after. Sharpen your hockey skills and knowledge both as a parent/player/coach. These guys pack a punch and I have nothing but phenomenal things to say about this podcast. You guys are great and keep it up!!

Really enjoy these guys. They work very well together and have a lot of great info to help you see hockey from a different angle. Much of this info works with all of youth sports.

Love the podcast guys…love the large range of topics from youth hockey development to junior and pro. Growing up playing my entire life and having 3 young boys now involved now with the travel hockey world, I love the advice and multiple point of views you guys share.
