ThinkOfTheSeaThis is a good podcastIt is very good. I still don’t quite understand - and at this point I refuse to learn! - the game aspect, so you don’t have to get that to enjoy it. It’s got elements of fantasy, dystopia, mystery, and even some Sanderson-style leadership lessons sprinkled in. Also robots and rock climbing and moon rocks. Also there are some very funny parts. It’s got a lot of things, so if you like any of the above, give it a try. It would probably be a great road trip listen now that there are a lot of episodes.

BWolf5Exhilarating!Can you imagine a world where technology has passed into myths, legends, and monsters? Where humans have retreated back into insulated colonies, and are afraid of why goes bump in the night? Do you yearn for the simple times and stories of a post-technology society? These are all great questions and you should colors them with this podcast! The crew are all passionate and talented and the game play is consistent without breaking the immersion. Learn to love AP again with A Knight of Shreds and Patches!

JsXtmBeautifully immersive storytellingThe crew behind A Knight of Shreds and Patches are well seasoned in the Actual Play podcast space, but they take the storytelling to another level in this beautifully edited collaborative story. Every minute of every episode is tightly focused to tell the story that they want to tell. The game mechanics never bog things down, but the dice still take the story in interesting directions and sometimes surprise the players too. Excellent podcast with a great story to tell!

Chris Raley RussellStorytelling with incredible finesseEverything in AKoSaP feels intentional, thought out, and purposeful. The shows core cast of characters portray a motley band building towards a found family in challenging times. The production is incredibly immersive and leaves me hungering for the answers to the questions it so cleverly dangles. It is exceedingly impressive that I have to remind myself this is an actual play and not a radio drama.

Richard KLTop Notch Sci-Fi Actual PlayWhat do you get when you put experienced tabletop RPG podcasters, trained actors, experienced world builders, and a post-apocalyptic sci-fi aesthetic in a blender? A really good show. Everything about this show speaks to the years of experience of podcast production and storytelling in the cast. The production values are spot on, the insticts for improvisation and scene building are great, and the world itself feels alive. Even the character introductions are done in a slow, measured way that gives the audience a chance to build up the knowledge of the characters and familiarity with the actors' voices so you aren't overwhelmed at any point, all while building the world step by step. It's a great show, masterfully done.
