The only Nats podcast that matters.
Al, Mark & CO. are the best! I hope this pod never ends tho I’d love to hear Al Galdi in the MASN broadcast booth one day. Update: -1 star, Patriot Supply adverts? Really? Please know that your audience is smarter than that.

    Favorite podcast
If it were up to me, there’d be a NatsChat podcast every day of the year. By far my favorite podcast. so grateful to Al and Mark for all their hard work.

    Great for cord cutters
Since I'm blacked out from all Nats broadcasts and am no longer a season ticket holder, the daily recaps have been the only way to follow the Nats. I've appreciated Mark's coverage ever since he started with his blog. Both Al and Mark offer enthusiastic, but sometimes necessarily critical, reviews of the Nats. Thanks for the great podcast and keep up the good work.

    Nats Chat- best Nats Podcast
Nats Chat is the best podcast talking about the Washington Nationals. Both Al and Mark have a knowledge of the team and of Baseball, as well as the history of baseball in Washington. Well worth a listen every day!

    Daily workout
Awesome listen win or lose. Goldie is so prepared, never mails it in. Al and Mark are critical when called for so they are not homers. Listen while working out most mornings. Gives me something to look forward to each day.

What a baseball podcast should be
Trying to follow the NATS from Alabama is a pain in the butt. Getting a feed after every game, telling what happened, what should have happened, why to have hope and why to despair in the middle of a rebuild is a gift. Thanks guys

    NatsChatPodcast - excellent
This podcast exemplifies what great baseball reporting and commentary should be. They focus on the games themselves, the strategic and tactical decisions, and the team’s performance and progress (or lack thereof). They don’t inject their personalities and abjure the ephemera that characterizes so much of the sports media. The evaluations and judgments are sound and knowledgeable.

    Great takes and recaps
I listen to this podcast almost daily! Both Al and Mark give such entertaining content in all that goes on with the Nats.

    No surprise.. a fantastic podcast.
But the team .. can be. Some exciting young players. Up and down performances by team. But so much promise. All in on the Nats.

    5 stars
Started listening about one-third into season 2021 and now Mark and Al are on my daily schedule. Smart baseball, balanced perspective and just enough humor to keep it fun. Good production details…no complaints and lots of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️from me. Thanks guys and keep it up. Updating to say how much I appreciate the dependability and timeliness of these episodes too!

    The best baseball podcast
Nats Chat is my favorite podcast. Al and Mark (and Tim) are the best at what they do. Nats Chat is honestly one of the things I enjoy most about Nats fandom. Here’s to many more seasons!

Been listening to Al and Mark since their 980 guys. Both talented, hardworking and fun. Start every day with the pod. What more praise can you give?

So glad I found this podcast!
As a busy mom of four, I rarely have the time to keep up with my Nats as much as I’d like. This podcast helps me stay “in the know” while I’m on the go! ❤️⚾️ Thanks, guys!

    Complete Nat Coverage
Al Gauldi is the best. He watches the Nats detail so you don’t have to.

    Best Nationals Podcast
I’ve been reading Mark Zuckerman’s coverage of the Nats since he started a personal blog covering the Nats after leaving the Washington Times, and I have always loved his insightful coverage. This podcast brightens my day every time it plays, and I could not recommend it more for Nats fans. I also ran into Mark at a San Francisco Giants game last summer and he was wonderful to chat with in person. Mark has a deep knowledge of the Nats and I always enjoy hearing his perspective on the teams and games.

Wonderful talk with Charlie & Dave
Al and Mark are always entertaining and informative, about large issues and small. The Charlie and Dave discussion was really fabulous and next level. The discussion about how they built interest in the early total-losing years, how they prepare, the uses and limitations in broadcasting of the recent avalanche of advanced stats, and how radio broadcasts have changed and might evolve, were great and so unexpected to listen to and learn. This is a great show, and even casual Nats fans benefit from listening.

    Best Nats Pod!
Thought I wrote a review a while back. Was worried about the length, but Al, Mark and Tim do a great job of keeping it condensed and hitting all necessary points from the game and news and notes.

    Great Daily Pod
Great daily pod and recap of the days previous game!

Best Nats coverage out there. Episode for every game
    Great Nats and baseball coverage!

    Best Nats Podcast
Essential listening for any Nats fan. Informative and entertaining. Great analysis that is always supported by facts and reasoning. My favorite feature of the podcast is the soundbite drops Tim Shovers throws in there when Al and Mark make an old pop culture or baseball reference. I never miss an episode and I thoroughly enjoy every minute!

    Great discussions!
I just started listening this year(2022), and it’s been so nice to have some honest and in-depth analysis of the mess that has been the Nats this season. Enjoyable discussion and lots of cool information, it is definitely worth your time. I also really appreciate that Mark and Al do it after every game for those of us who can’t get enough baseball! Keep up the great work, I’m looking forward to more fun seasons when the Nats can right the ship.

    Day 1 Supporter
I’ve listened to this podcast from the very beginning and I love having something to look forward to after every game no matter the result. However Al has been frustrating to listen to when it comes to his opinions on the Nats. At time to me he talks out of both sides of his mouth, where he will praise the Nats for something but in the same point he will be negative about the same issue. I understand the need to be critical on things when they are deserved but sometimes it makes me not want to listen.

    Great context
Just discovered this podcast this season and I’ve really enjoyed it. Lots of craziness this season and they definitely help me make sense of it all!

    Declining production values
ads repeated back-to-back are really annoying - volume imbalances between initial ads and podcast content are jarring - wasn't a problem before this year

    Must have for Nats fans
I love this podcast. Listen to it every morning while walking the dog. Whether you watched the game or missed it, it's great insight. Perfect balance of being fans of the team but also critical when appropriate. Great insight behind the scenes if you don't have time for pre and post-game shows. The production quality can't be understated either. The pace and interactions are professional and sound quality excellent, which is not true for all podcasts. Thanks to Walter's for helping make it happen.

2022 is a tough year for the Nats
But these guys have made it easier. I look forward to their reviews and analysis every day. Thanks guys!

    THE Best Nationals Podcast
Mark, Al, and occasionally Tim provide the most in-depth and thought out analysis on the Nationals. You can tell the quality of the podcast matters tremendously to them as well.

    The extra mile!
I appreciate this show always posting after each game. Even more so when the team records the show at 3:00am! The show provides a balance of a Nats fan’s passion and an organizational perspective on a day to day, game to game basis.

    Your Perfect Nats wrap up
Every Nats fan needs this podcast to get the most informative breakdown of every game

    Get immersed in the Nats!
Morning coffee and Nats Chat! Bummed if there was no game the day before and therefore no Nats Chat. Awesome analysis of game, players’ performances, Davey’s moves, off the field stuff… immerses you in the Nats, who should be paying Al and Mark big for this. Keeps me engaged through thick and thin. I’m proud of you boys!

    Nats Chat
I spent several months of last season away from the DC area and this podcast was a godsend (even to someone who almost never follows podcasts). Mark Zuckerman in particular brings knowledge of the team going back to day 1 and helps put each game in context. Al Galdi is a bit of a voice for the average fan and helps draw out thoughtful responses from Mark. Their occasional special guest spots are also very interesting and informative. I love it and believe you will too
  • BDC211
Essential listening for any Nats fan
Have always loved Mark Zuckerman’s writing on the Nats since the early days of the team and his insights on podcast are second to none. Great rapport with Al Galdi, who keeps the show moving. My favorite sports podcast.

Doesn’t get any better for a Nats fan
Awesome show with two great hosts in Galdi
  • Expat Nat
    Fantastic Podcast
As a Nats fan lining overseas, it’s tough to see many games. This podcast gave me my daily dose of Nats action and insightful analysis. Apples and oranges, of course, but great for Nats fans that this came along after Boswell retired.
  • Sean Cuts the Lawn
    Fantastic Podcast
Al and Mark are incredibly well-informed and well-spoken. The podcast is outstanding in every way. Thanks for the great work.
