I enjoy the stories, I do. I just wish that there was maybe a hint of expression when reading.

This is a gem. A seriously underrated gem. I appreciate a host with a comfortable vibe who just tells the damned story. You know? Even better, a host who makes it about the story rather than themselves, and how funny or clever they think they are. With podcasting, I’ve come to believe that simple really is better.

First, all of these stories are written by one person. That person never met an overwrought purple prose turn of phrase they didn’t like. Sometimes merely irritating, sometimes intolerable, these stories need to be completely reworked by someone with talent if this podcast has a chance of longevity.

The stories are ok to listen to it’s just a guy reading stuff from the internet like listener submissions or creepy pasta. Sometimes they are just odd and I’ll heckle them like, “Oh that’s bad!” Or “I heard that is a nice place.” Or “Why’d you do that?” Or “That sounds like a bad idea.” And makes the story more enjoyable.

I just love Skinwalker stories you should probably do more of them

I literally just found this podcast about two weeks ago and I haven’t been able to stop. I even use it to ease my nerves and I know that sounds silly talking about scary things but he’s voice in the background noise just makes it a perfect combo for me to meditate or try to sleep before I go to bed, and strangely enough, it put me in a relaxing stage and enjoying the stories

I like this podcast. I think it’s pretty well done, and some of the stories are great however, can you please do some editing to the stories that come in. It is very clear that some of these stories are written by college authors that want to be Stephen King. Not trying to be rude, but everything is this elongated description about how someone’s eyes were a storm and their mind was a Tempest and the world is a Tempest. I think I heard the word Tempest nine times in one story. Please just shorten it or edit some of this out it’ll make it a lot more streamlined.

Please consider dropping the volume of the ads, or adding a subscription for ad free?

The show itself is perfect: Goes straight into the stories, soft raindrops in the background, soothing voice, great content!! // The one flaw is the LOUD commercials. The switching from his calm voice to the loud commercials is really irritating especially in headphones. I would either turn down the commercials volume or just have the person read versions of the commercials themselves.

Love the “scary stories” but only some are scary but can a real human read it. Also can there be sound effects please.

The show is amazing thank you for making it the ads are so loud plz make them quieter

The show is so great, love unwinding to it — however, the commercials are so much louder than the show itself it shocks you out of the ambiance/ wakes you up

The story’s are ok, but what’s really annoying is 3 or 4 minutes of loud commercials between each story.

It’s a super good podcast just need more accurate timestamps, it would help a lot. Otherwise than that no problems!

Just Creepy is one of the best narrator’s here and on the tube. Listen to him daily. As always much appreciated JC. Thank you far all the ha d work. If you’ve never listed. Give him a try. Great stories more than others and always posting. Can’t ask for more. Also his compilations are a must.

There are A.I. vibes. But monotone voicing is good for falling asleep to. I do feel like stuff could be improved by lowering the volume of ads, and spending a little more time adjusting grammar. Maybe intend of 2ish new podcasts a week you reduce it to one and invest more time fine tuning.

It’s clearly not a human narrator. The content is superb but it’s disappointing that a bot is used to read the stories.

Yeah that’s about it. Is he a robot? Just listen to the last episode - he literally cannot pronounce a single word. Especially if there are multiple sill-ah-bee-les. Voice coach bruv

I love a good creepy podcast. I found this podcast a couple weeks ago and I have not stopped watching I love the narrators voice. It’s so calming.

This is one of the best horror podcast ever and there is some pretty good ones

If he says “for I am a park ranger” one more time. Not the worst but desperately need a script and production editor. Immediately.

The first couple episodes I listened to, I really liked, but when I got to the massive episode that’s about 8 hours, I had to quit listening when the narrator wouldn’t move the plot along for TWENTY MINUTES. How many different ways are you going to describe how the cat seems to be doing better after getting rid of a painting and that you’re still haunted by the same dream? Y’all get paid by the word or something? After reading some of the reviews, I totally understand why some people say this is AI generated content. The stories don’t make sense and it’s like someone fed instructions to fill an 8-hour block of time with 4 stories that could’ve been told in ten minutes (altogether), and it went hilariously awry. But the content is clearly pulled from Reddit’s r/nosleep subReddit and the authors are credited, so this seems to be a choice on the show makers’ part to choose stories for length rather than quality.

This is the best horror podcast I’ve listened to. I love the content. So many of these stories give me goosebumps. My favorite thing to do is to just chill out and listen to these. I would 100% recommend listening to these if you are looking for a good horror story.

I like it and the stories are good but I could be better

Didn’t this used to tell ‘true’ scary stories? Now it all seems AI generated.

The narration is monotonous and terrible. The stories are barely threaded together in any logical way.

I used to enjoy this podcast much more. But all of the stories must be AI generated at this point because they don’t make sense from beginning to end and they all, regardless of the monster or ghost or whatever, end with the same winsome tone of someone happy they survived a harrowing experience. It gets 2 stars because the AI voice is great for falling to sleep while listening.

Are all these stories AI generated? I know voice is but the actual stories are repetitive and robotic.

The monotone voice of the narrator is rough but once you’re past that the stories are pretty decent. What’s not great is the way each one is written. It’s like whoever wrote them has never taken a basic English class. Redundant sentences or sentences that completely contradict the direction the story was progressing. I’ve seen reviews that the stories may be written by A.I. If that’s the case, at least proof read them to make sure they make sense. This podcast was pretty good in early episodes but now it just seems like they are forcing stories out.

The stories are long and I like that. The plots of the stories are usually good. The only bad thing is that the AI voice takes the emotion out of it.

I love creepy, scary stories so these fit the bill. Especially since each is roughly 30 minutes long. I would have liked a bit more personable delivery. Apparently it’s not a human??

Stories or ok some are very fake but that’s bound to happen. I just don’t like the laziness of AI narration. I’d rather have a real person read to me.
