Great! The right mix of natural and simple
Im probably at A2 right now but can follow their conversations with the help of the transcripts. Reading and listening at the same time really helps me feel confident as a Spanish learner NOTE: unfortunately, a few weeks after I discovered this podcast, they took away the free transcripts! :-( :-( still a pretty great podcast

    Too fast speaking
Even at 75% speed, speaking speed is too fast for beginners.

    This is the one
I have been trying to learn Spanish off and on for a while, but I have been stuck transitioning from studying grammar and vocabulary on apps to being able to understand a full conversation. This podcast just clicks! The two hosts provide conversation in general topics that are easy to follow. They have clear pronunciation and the cadence of their conversation is both natural and paced well enough for me to understand. There is plenty of basic vocabulary I know as well as new words! I just subscribed

    Me encanta estos “hosts”
*NOTE: Make sure to start listening when they get to episode 64 or so… The male host that comes in at this point is better than the first guy. Very cool dude with a great voice. Great chemistry with the female host. Muy amigable. I really enjoy the hosts and their style of speaking. They are funny, entertaining, and speak with terrific annunciation, speed, and clarity. The mood is light, fun and it’s a very enjoyable experience. I have been learning Spanish for 7 months and while I obviously don’t understand all the words and phrases it’s still a pleasure to listen to; not too hard.

    Pleasant and helpful!
They are easy to listen to, and also I like their topics and dynamic! I learn a lot, and they talk in a simple clear way that allows me to learn. Best Spanish podcast for listen imo!

    Probably my favorite learning podcast
Jose and Pau speak to each other like friends. They can be talking about house cleaning and it still feels like just friends chatting. They speak quickly but clearly for learners. This is definitely intermediate listening. If you are low intermediate you will find this a bit challenging, high intermediates will feel very comfortable. They also both have the best and most contagious laughs. I love it when Pau says “hola Jose mariano” with fake seriousness. It always makes me smile.

It’s a great podcast really easy to understand and helpful.

    Great intermediate podcast
This is a great podcast for intermediate level learners. Each episode is a conversation between two native Spanish speakers who explore a new topic/theme every week. They speak slower and more clearly than a typical native conversation most times.

Would be much more enjoyable if they didn't laugh so often at things that aren't funny
They laugh at the most inappropriate times and way too often, especially Paulina, it's very annoying.

Wish the would make podcasts for beginners
I’ve been learning Spanish fo a year but I really couldn’t understand much of these podcasts at all. Maybe it’s me and I’m a slow learner, but it feels like the talk way, way too fast. Didn’t seem very “Easy Spanish” to me! Making a good language podcast is a lot more than just sitting in front of a microphone and talking, which is really all this is.

    Just the right level
As an early/intermediate learner, it’s often hard for me to find listening practice material that is at the right level. This podcast gives me great practice listening and it’s clear enough that I can understand what they are saying. It’s also been great in terms of interesting conversations too.
