OhNoItsGinBetter than your fave sweaterImagine the warm and cozy feeling of your favourite sweater but this time it’s a podcast called The Cider Shed. The hosts Matthew Weir and Keri Warbis (& an off mic Peter Fickling) have created one of the best podcasts that will make you want to curl up and drink in every minute of their podcast. From Matthew’s brilliant faux ads, to Keri’s perceptive insights you don’t need to be a fan of the Archers to enjoy their creative efforts. The hosts are genuinely two of the loveliest people and it’s a pleasure to feel included as a listener each week as they unpack the Ambridge shenanigans with humour and love, as true fans themselves. Nothing beats the silly game shows that Matthew puts Keri through or her inadvertently hilarious answers. Their friendship is what pulls listeners back week after week and that they share it with us is lovely. Discussing the Archers has never been more fun!

Jezz A BelleFIVE STARSArchers chat made by people who I would actually like to hang out with! Keri, Matthew, and sometimes Peter, not only hit on all the hot goss in Ambridge, they do so with a genuine warmth and wit that envelopes listeners in an affable bubble. Thanks for the pod, y’all!

jesif123A must listen for Archers fans (who have a sense of humor)This is a long overdue review of the cider shed. For many years, I have listened to the archers alone with no one to discuss it with or commiserate over this weird show. I have now listened to every single episode both the regular show and the midweek specials on patreon. I now feel like I have two snarky, witty, funny, sarcastic friends in Kerri and Matthew (though I may need to examine the nature of this parasocial relationship). You must have a sense of humor to enjoy this show. If you are easily offended, this is probably not the podcast for you. I don’t agree with all the takes from Matthew and Kerri (like the rather strange obsession with Russ, a character that I find disgusting and creepy). However, it’s ok, we don’t have to agree about everything all the time, that would be boring. Thank you for your excellent work Kerri and Matthew (miss you Peter!)

PbredlaujrThree more cheers for this Archers based podcast.I wrote a review when this podcast started but it is time to update because it continues to be amazing. The presenters make wry observations and predictions about all the goings on in Ambridge. And yet, while they can be merciless when discussing Archers’ ridiculousness, they are warm and generous to Archers’ listeners. So listen, enjoy, and give them 5 stars (and then support them via Patreon)!

books in bedWeekly shot of joy…and George and Adam et alThe Cider Shed was the weekly shot of joy I didn’t know I needed. I’m Californian born and raised and no one in my world speaks Archers. The Cider Shed makes me feel as though I am sitting with Keri and Matthew and putting the (fictional) world to rights. Keri and Matthew provide more fun than the Archers deserves; there are few shows that make me me laugh out loud the way I do with The Cider Shed. And I say this as someone who likes Pat and Adam. Thank you, Keri and Matthew for giving your audience this gift of a pod.

would post but no nicknameBut ( not) seriously……..Gave it 5 stars not because it was suggested I do but because it deserves it! The humor and irreverence is top notch every week. By top notch I mean it’s on my level! - make of that what you will😁

querblesA panacea for all things AmbridgeThe plot twists of the Archers analyzed with surgical precision and some a good amount of healthy grumbling.

Tina3WReally enjoying the pod!I started listening last week and I’ve caught up on about 10 episodes so far. I intend to listen to every available one. As an American fan, I do not have anyone in my real life to talk to about The Archers. Listening to Keri, Matthew, and Peter break down characters and plots definitely helps me feel like I’m part of a wonderful community. I enjoy the tangents, the personal talk, the dumping on characters, all of it. Thanks for adding some extra joy into my experience of The Archers!

ReeinUSABetter than the programme it’s aboutI think I now listen to The Archers so I can enjoy this podcast. Funny and witty - it’s like sitting in the pub chatting with friends. As an expat who started listening to The Archers because I missed home, this just hits the spot - cheers

JReviewer21A wonderful addition to The Archers podcast worldEach week this trio delivers an amusing and insightful hour of analysis about The Archers (BBC radio) with their distinctive flair. Irreverent, snarky, sarcastic, and a bit risqué, they somehow remain respectful and friendly... at least towards people that don't live in Ambridge. This podcast has quickly became one of the top three Archers podcasts.

Limey across the pondI say! Top marks!Love this podcast — witty, insightful, engaging and informative in so many ways! Dare I say I enjoy it even more than the Archers? (Why yes, I think I do.) Thank you for an outstanding podcast.

LeguleiusVery Funny PodcastSo far, I have listened to all five episodes of this new podcast about The Archers, a seventy year old radio soap on the BBC. These three genuinely witty and charming hosts trade clever banter of the highest order about this odd obsession. If you have a few years, you might try The Archers. If you have an hour, this podcast will delight you.
