Not only is CL’s podcast a perfect length to listen to on a morning commute, every podcast makes you think and stimulates your brain. In this day and age where society’s morals are getting farther from the Bible, Cl reminds us what the Bible says and applies it to real life situations.

Appreciate the truth in love in the language of our day you share. I hear the truth from church services but unsure of how to spread that truth, in the most kind, patient way to my adult children who feel judged by “WELS” upbringing. They have rejected church, but share they believe. Partly my fault as their mother believing the only way to look at it was through the LAW, I believe I should have shared the GOSPEL more. I do wish at this point to be clear about the gospel that I have been able to understand and appreciate, now. I tried to follow the law too, to somehow earn the grace so freely given. What freedom the Gospel I have learned to understand, now. Time of Grace helped me with that. Your show gives me understanding of how it applies to my children in their worldly lives and direct issues they face. Prayer and the promise of the Holy Spirit in baptisms is my hope. I love your messages and culture references. I was reading about Joseph and it comments about Joseph was well built. Then it comments on Potiphar had nothing to worry about but what he would eat. Then we here his wife started to chase Joseph. I guess Potiphar wasn’t in great shape. The servants probably saw what was going on, but didn’t dare open their mouth and may have resented Joseph’s rapid rise in the house hold, just like all of us. I look forward to each episode. Dude! Your podcast speaks to your students but it so speaks to the older crowd. What an episode for me to use in thinking about what God wants next.

Good perspective on daily struggles that the enemy regularly throws at. CL provides words of wisdom that are valuable for all. From being his brother to being his friend, the most important thing is he’s obedient in his walk with Christ, and practices what he speaks.

I’ve come to know CL as a passionate man of God who thinks deeply about issues that matter. I just subscribed and can’t wait to binge these first episodes.

Maybe I’m Biased, buts refreshing hearing an educated black man share his thoughts about today’s society and relaying it back to the Bible. His jokes aren’t all that funny all the time💀but I was happy that I listened to every podcast!!!
