I found this podcast because Antonio was a guest on another Spanish podcast episode I was listening to. I don’t listen to that other podcast much anymore, but I’m a HUGE fan of Andalusian Spanish to go! At this point in my Spanish journey, this is the type of podcast I need: not vocabulary-focused or grammar deep-dives, but real, spoken Spanish conversations on a variety of *interesting* topics (where new grammar and vocab come up naturally), and interviews with people who have varying accents and use different idioms and expressions. Of course, there are many practical tips peppered in to make sure we listeners understand what we can be doing apart from listening to improve other areas of fluency, but it’s not the main focus. Personally, I like to shadow Antonio (and his guests) as they speak, or try to do my own recap of each episode after I’ve played it, out loud, to myself. Long story short, this podcast is EXCEPTIONAL for us B1/B2/C1 types to keep up skills before we take the next “real” step (like…joining Antonio’s classes) to actually progress to the next level of fluency.
