I regret coming to it late and not being able to contribute to your Patreon, and it feels wrong to be able to listen to all the bonus episodes for free. A ton of great content. The espousing of marxism is dopey, but still a wealth of well researched material and would recommend to anyone that likes the parapolitical. Very cool music selections, too.

It’s really exciting, the intro USED to be better but it’s cool. My favorite recent episode is the Girl interrupted one, honestly it just looks like a teen movie from the 90s BUT… you gotta light up some reefer and give it a listen. GET PROGRAMMED TO CHILL 🏄‍♂️

One of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to. Highly recommended!

For example, “Capitalist Realism” is literally just an idealist cope for the fundamental changes in the mode of production since imperialism. This is used as an example of concepts that are “hard to grasp.” Which makes me doubt the hosts grasp on the fundamentals of Marxism, along with a comment about how we have to engage in Anarchist rhetoric otherwise the people who engage in the pumping of money into Land Back can get more political influence. Instead, why not put forward a reconciliation of America by renegotiating the treaties under a Communist government. This is a much better proposal of the situation instead of leaving it for the Bourgeois government, which would inevitably would use it toward its own end by, for example, getting their monopolies exclusive access to exploit natural resources with corrupt tribal governments. Even a reasonable land reclamation when there is also a massive decline in the standard of living would put the general American public against it. A land reclamation from the treaties would simply be upholding the dead letter of a document written with radically different conditions in mind

With Jimmy’s monotone but Lovely voice and dry sense of humor, he takes on topics that are hard to find in other contexts. Great work Jimmy!

I learn so much from this podcast. Jimmy does so much research from a variety of sources and since I struggle to focus with the written word, turning that information into audio has really opened a world for me. Thanks, Jimmy.

I heard Jimmy Falun Gong twice on the Opperman Report and I found he was a wonderful guest who had lots to say about interesting topics. However the episodes of Programmed to Chill that I’ve checked out have just not grabbed me at all and I ended up bailing on each of them before getting half way through. I guess I’m someone who prefers a presentation that is a bit more..prepared..? Too much hmmming and hawing, you gotta tighten things up! And I reeeally hate to say this next thing but here goes: Jimmy could seriously use lessons of some sort to make his speech more pleasant to listen to and engaging. He just sounds sorta…drippy. And that goes quadruple for his guest Khalid (from Subliminal Jihad) I just get turned off by the way he speaks for a number of different reasons. I don’t think either man has any idea how he is limiting himself by being careless about tone of voice and other speech mannerisms, and I imagine there are very few people around them who are going to want to risk discouraging them by saying anything about this. So in a desire to help I am just being blunt here. I think Jimmy and Khalid could be fantastic..if they made some changes.

Amazing history podcast! the deadpan delivery is appreciated

If you want to be consistently fed false information by someone who can’t differentiate between groups that have similar sounding names and who then makes grandiose statements based on that confusion, then this is the podcast for you. So much of what he claims is just factually wrong and you get the sense that he is more interested in sensationalism than truth.
