One of my favorite Disneyland podcasts
I started listening to this podcast a couple years ago when planning one of our trips, and I still listen regularly throughout the year, even though we only go to DL/DCA once a year at most. Great information.

    Disney should pay THEM
We had been to Disneyland a handful of times, but not since Covid and never with kids. When my sister and I were put in charge of planning a trip for our extended family in August of 2022 (ages 2-78) we found as much information from as many sources as possible so we could ensure our first timer family members would have a magical experience. I stumbled on this podcast and binged all the episodes. Erin and Katie got me all caught up on what I needed to know. We took our trip and an amazing time was had by all. The problem is, it’s now almost two years later and I’m still listening which is making me want to plan another trip sooner than I normally would. I’m sure I’m not the only one, either. Disney should really give you guys a cut. 🤣

    Just the best
Been listening for over a year now and I look forward to it every week. Thank you for the enjoyable and easy to listen to content 😆 Update: I’m still here and have gone to Disneyland twice and WDW once since I found this podcast. Not saying I blame them but listening definitely fans the flame of my love for Disney 😆

The BEST Disneyland news, planning and tips!
Erin and Katie are the BEST at providing the perfect balance of park news, how to plan your trip (because whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned park-goer, ongoing changes require additional navigation), and helpful tips from their own experience. Their friendship and knowledge are sprinkled with Disney magic that’s a delight to listen to, even long after your trip is over.

    So informative & fun!
I was looking for a podcast to help me plan a 3-day trip to Disneyland with my husband and almost 2-year old daughter and am so happy i found this one. I love Erin & Katie’s helpful insights. We had a wonderful trip despite some rainy weather. Thank you for putting out such fun, honest & positive content!

Love these ladies! And this podcast!
Anyone with any level of love or knowledge of Disneyland will love this podcast! First timers and regulars alike will learn something new! Up to date news, tips and tricks and also a real love for each other that you can feel; like I get to chat with my besties once a week about my favorite place! Also… Remember when you have two podcasts and I left a review on the other one. It’s me hi I’m the problem! Love you ladies thank you for what you do!!!

    Great information
I started listening over a year ago for tips for an upcoming trip but stayed listening as these two ladies now feel like friends. They are very helpful and set realistic expectations for your trips to Disney. They are relatable moms and I even enjoy the weather updates since I have family in Boise haha!

    Amazing and full of knowledge!!!
Love this podcast! They are always up to date and have made planning our family trip to Disneyland so fun! I can’t wait for our trip and continue to listen to all episode even after our trip! I also messaged and had several questions and they were very quick to respond!! Great job ladies!!

Disneyland first time as an adult
I found your podcast while searching for some tips and tricks for our trip at the end of April! I’ve learned some tips already! I went to Disneyland when I was a little kid but don’t remember so I’ll count this as my first time! Haha We’re going for our daughters 5th birthday and before our son turns 3! What’s your number 1 thing we should do with the young kids??

    Episode 141-Food & Wine festival
Each week I look forward to your latest podcast to drop! I just finished listening to this episode! I couldn’t get enough! It was so much fun listening to you both humorously describe each food and beverage item to come at the Food and Wine Festival. Most humorous was the repeating of “Food & Wine Festival Stainless Steel Stemless Fluted Dragonfly Glass (and similar glasses). I can’t wait to meet you in a few weeks!! Thank you for sharing your love for Disney with me.

Bringing that Disney Joy to Us All
I freaking love this podcast! I love all things Disney and so I listen to A LOT of Disney podcasts (some might say I’m obsessed), but Ropedrop & Parkhop is my absolute favorite! Erin and Katie are incredibly knowledgeable about Disneyland and a great resource as I’ve planned some recent DL trips. I’ve made some decisions based solely on their advice and have not regretted them (World of Color dessert party!). These ladies are hilarious; I love their hot takes, and the jokes that carry from episode to episode. I truly look forward to my Friday mornings so I can push play on this podcast and pretend like I’m escaping to my favorite place rather than getting ready for work. Thank you ladies for taking the time do this podcast as I know it is no simple thing. You bring joy to many and we are grateful!

Going to Disneyland? This podcast is perfect to help you prepare.
I travel to LA several times a year for work and recently decided that I need to “seize the day” and go to Disneyland. I’m a big theme park fan, but the mouse is fairly new to me. I’ve powered through about half of the episodes with 2 weeks to go for my next trip. I’ve taken notes and feel prepared for my trip to the parks. I’m also planning to attend their meetup and cannot wait to thank Katie and Erin for all their help in person. Seriously, just listen!

    The best!
I just started doing the research for our Disneyland trip and I’m so thankful I find this podcast. Thank you ladies for your hard work and sharing all of your amazing information and knowledge! I plan to continue listening even after our trip. The only critique I have is I wish the titles for the podcasts weren’t movie quotes, but summarized what the episode was about so that I could more easily search for past episodes that I want to listen to again for information. I look forward to your podcast every week!

    Getting my Disney fix
Thank you girls for helping me get my Disney fix in when I’m away from the parks. Love all the tips and tricks. You gals keep me laughing every Friday on my way to work. I’m a disneylander who’s wanting to plan a wdw trip so I love the tips for wdw as well.

    Great stuff
This podcast has been a lifesaver while planning my family’s first Disney vacation. I’ve never been to any Disney park before and I was feeling so overwhelmed…..until I found this podcast! It has helped me feel confident in my understanding of the park and all of my plans therein. I’m really excited for our trip and I feel as prepared as I possibly could be. Erin and Katie are fun, funny, positive, family friendly, and so informative. Love it guys! Keep up the good work!
  • seaweedd_
    Love these two
I look so forward to new episodes dropping every week. These two are f*%#!&g delightful and I totally agree with the other review saying they’re like an SNL skit. I appreciate that they’re honest with their opinions/experiences but still try to stay positive. The added insight that comes from them being travel planners and having experienced cruises & ABD is invaluable. Listening to these two almost gives the same feeling I get when I’m in the parks and I only wish all their episodes were longer 🥲
  • Linzwwhite
    Informative and fun
Disneyland has become my special interest obsession since I decided to take my family. Our trip is in September ‘24 and I’ve learned some great family friendly tips from Erin and Katie! The best being midday naps at the Grand Californian. Keep up the amazing job ladies!!
  • Player00001
    Fun, inspiring podcast!
I would consider ourselves experienced Disney travelers, however it’s still amazing to listen to Erin and Katie! I’ve been listening since the beginning and love the top 10’s as well as the things to do outside the parks. The news is always entertaining, and I can’t go an episode without laughing. Thank you ladies!! It’s always a great Friday when your episodes drop!
  • Lesley Dickerson
    Great Tips
I listened to the Disneyland 101 and 102 episodes before going to Disneyland a few weeks ago and I was so grateful for all the great tips and inside info! But I continue to listen because it’s a fun podcast and I enjoy hearing about Erin & Katie’s adventures!
  • gingle
The best, bingeable, Disneyland-specific podcast out there!
If you are planning a trip to Disneyland, this is the only podcast you need. Endless tips and tricks and insider info! I binged a large portion of the episodes in preparation for my family’s first trip, and I now have a super long note on my phone filled with everything I feel like I need to know. I feel so much more prepared now! Even if you’ve already been to Disney, I imagine this podcast will still blow your mind.
  • kyanchaolson
This podcast is #1 for me!
I took my kids to Disneyland a couple years back, little did I know that I would be the one falling in love with the parks. I live close enough that I can head back a couple times a year, but that’s still not enough! These beautiful ladies bring me the Disneyland joy I miss, every Friday, and I can’t get enough! Thank you for what you do.
  • Aeris921
    My favorite Disneyland podcast!
This podcast is so informative and helpful for planning a trip to Disneyland! I started listening a year ago to help me prepare for an upcoming trip, but I’ve continued listening long past when our trip ended because this podcast is ALSO so entertaining and helps me keep feeling the Disney park magic between trips. I don’t know when I’ll get to go again, but in the meantime I’ll keep listening and living vicariously through Erin and Katie!
  • CrystalHuddly
    Magical ✨
I began listening a few months ago in preparation & excitement for my first trip to Disneyland & California Adventure since pre-COVID. I was traveling with my Magic Key Holder friends, and I was actually able to contribute a bit of trivia thanks to this awesome podcast. Now, I’m home and listening more to extend the magic.
  • Beavsfanclub
    Helped a ton!
I started listening 6 months ago and we leave in 2 days for Disneyland! You’ve helped a ton even though I thought we knew what we were doing. Thank you! And I’ll keep listening until our next trip!

    Like coffee with best friends
I drive a lot each day and listening to Erin and Katie while I have my morning coffee makes my whole day. I started listening to the podcast in June of this year and I’ve kept up every Friday since! I’m currently starting at episode one and working my way through. This podcast is so much fun, I truly enjoy laughing along. Thanks and keep up the great work!
  • EastCoast_Dani
    Like an SNL skit
I found Katie and Erin this summer while I was trying to plan my first Disneyland trip. I’m a long time, East Coast WDW goer—however, I found myself floundering when I was trying to get ready for my inaugural West Coast Disney visit. These 2 ladies are the “encyclopedia Britanica” of key Disneyland trip-planning information mixed with the humor of a snort-inducing SNL skit. Thank you for teaching me all the “important things Disneyland” while keeping me laughing! I’m ready to plan our next girls trip…call me, maybe?!
  • mc.and.mouse.club
    My favorite podcast. Period.
Every Friday I look forward to going for a long walk to get my dose of Disney from Rope Drop and Park Hop. I’ve listened to every episode and find Katie and Erin’s content extremely relatable and informative. They are funny, knowledgeable, and just an all-around great time! I don’t have a lot of people in my life who share my love of Disneyland so having Katie and Erin to listen to is such a gift. I find myself wanting to respond out loud so often, like we’re all just sitting around chatting. Thanks, ladies, for creating such a magical space in the podcast world!

The Disneyland Sisters I Always Wanted
Since my sisters don’t like Disneyland (aka fun), I like to pretend Katie and Erin are family and I often listen to each episode multiple times. Thanks for the magical podcast.

Like chatting with your Disney best friends!
I found this podcast while planning a Disneyland trip 18 months ago. It got me so excited for our one time trip from Ohio. Currently we’re getting ready for our 4th trip with a 5th already on the books. I love listening to all of your stories, tips, and advice! They have made our adventures so much better! I can’t wait each week for the new episode to laugh right along with you and enjoy every tangent!
  • HPHG2000
    My Favorite Disneyland Podcast!
I discovered your podcast before my last trip to Disneyland. I love your content and your updates and trip reports are very helpful! I look forward to listening to your show every Friday morning! I recommend your show to anyone planning a trip to the parks or if they’re like me and enjoy Disney news and updates all the time!

    Informative and Entertaining
Currently planning my first trip in 25 years and husband and kids first trip ever for next summer. This podcast is so wonderful- always informative, funny, entertaining! Always puts a smile on my face. Only problem is I listen during my commute and can’t take notes so sometimes have to listen again 🤣

This podcast is a must for planning!
My family has been to Disney several times but even when going every few years, there is so much that changes and this podcast has helped me keep up on what’s new. It also has introduced my family to all the great food that Disney offers. We created a spreadsheet for our last trip and now consider ourselves Disney Foodies. I appreciate how this podcast offers a variety of information and honest reviews. It definitely help me feel more confident and prepared to tackle my next trip. ~Grant N Megan’s Mom

    A spoon full of sugar!
Writing to you from Lewiston Maine . After a huge tragedy struck our city this past week, I headed back to work on Monday with a heavy heart. Listening to you ladies gave me the medicine my heart needed to get through the day. Your comical conversation and descriptions of your trip helped me go to my magical place in my head. Thank you for being a constant in a world full of unknowns!❤️

    Takes me right back there!
I’m a teacher from Tennessee and contracted the Disney disease after Covid. I’ve been lucky enough to visit DLR twice this year, once with my BFF and once with my sister. Listening to you ladies makes me feel like I’m still a part of the magic over there on the west coast! Love the Disney friendship you two share! Love that you two talk about REAL challenges and tips! Keep spreading the magic!

    This is a great podcast!
This is a great podcast to listen to if you’re planning a trip to DL. This is also a great podcast to listen to if you’re interested in anything Disney or if you’re heading to southern CA! I loved this week’s Universal trip review! Thanks, Erin and Katie!

    Favorite Disney podcast
Love this podcast. I’m a DDA “dental Disney adult” so I especially love that Erin’s a hygienist. A lot of us Nor Cal dental peeps are obsessed with the parks so I’ve referred a lot of coworkers and patients to listen! I always enjoy listening to the banter and trip reports, keep it up ladies! 👏🏻👏🏻

    Binge worthy!
My husband told me about this podcast a long time ago and I should have listened to him sooner. This is such a good podcast! I love Erin and Katie. I’m glad they share in my dislike for Roger Rabbit. Their hot takes and their humor keep me coming back. I’m binging the old podcasts and love Fridays because I get to listen to new episode. Well done ladies!
  • TessaJ1213
    Fav podcast friends!
Erin and Katie’s recommendations and strategies made my recent trip so perfect! I’ve tried a lot of Disneyland podcasts and this is by far my favorite. Love you guys! 🏰❤️

    Making me a “cool mom”
Thank you for this podcast! I am planning our first trip (Oct 18-21) to Disneyland/DCA as a family with our princess obsessed daughters (6 & 3.5). Your guidance has been so helpful! Especially as I try and navigate the changes Disney has made in the last handful of years. One upon a time I was a Disneyland pro and could work the Fast Pass system! I appreciate your insight into Genie+, what to prioritize with littles, etc. I love your tangents and the fun you have together. I will keep listening long after our trip!
  • CAS36942
    Favorite Disneyland Podcast!
6 months before our first family trip to DLR I started listening to different Disneyland podcasts. Rope Drop and Park Hop quickly became my favorite! I went back to the beginning and listened to most of their past episodes, and now that our trip is over I still want to listen! Katie and Erin are fun to listen to, are upbeat and positive, and offer great advice for planning a DLR trip. We had a wonderful trip two weeks ago and I still find myself listening to their new episodes because it’s like I’m listening to friends I’ve never met!

    Happiest Podcast on Earth!!!
This is exACTly what I needed while I count down the days until my next trip to Disneyland. The ladies are funny, smart, and thorough. I wanted and appreciate the focus being on Disneyland Resort in California as it’s the OG. I want to be them when I grow up 💖
  • Mandelich
    Yay Disney!
By far my favorite Disney podcast! You two as a pair crack me up and give me my Disney fix in between trips. Thank you for all you do. Two questions for you ladies. What is your #1 thing on your Disney bucket list? Which Golden Girl are you?
  • Big Thunder Mountain Fan
    Best Disneyland Podcast!
I have been listening to several other Disneyland podcasts for awhile now and came across Katie and Erin’s about four months ago. I’ve been binge listening and am almost caught up to present day. Their podcast is the most comprehensive for planning a Disney trip. They have the most tips and tricks from what shoes to wear to bring your own reusable straw and ziplock baggies (for keeping treats fresh!) Not only that, they are very funny and entertaining. Thank you, ladies!
  • Zargutah
    Entertaining, easy listening
I started listening to this podcast about a month ago after my husband got sick of me talking about an upcoming Disneyland trip. Listening to this podcast feels like talking about all things Disneyland with my friends. Not only have the episodes I have listened to been informative but also entertaining. I love the format of the episodes and the length is perfect. I have been enjoying it so much I decided to start from the beginning and listen to all the episodes. You definitely won’t be disappointed with this one 😊
  • Katie Vils
    Keep it up!
Of all the Disney podcasts I listen to, this one is the one I most look forward to each week. I relate so much to Erin and Katie, and know I’ll get great, relevant info, fun guests and be entertained. I do love how they keep it real and talk to each other and their listeners like “normal” people and friends would. I recommend this podcast to anyone planning a trip!

Exactly what I was looking for!!!
This podcast is my favorite! You two have such great conversations, and I always feel like I’m talking to a couple of friends. As a seasoned DLR visitor, I’m always looking for content that focuses on Disneyland and offers a unique and fresh take on the parks, and this podcast has just that! Thank you!

    Still here!
I loved listening to this show while preparing for my family’s first Disneyland trip last month and I’m still here! Katie and Erin have a great dynamic and are so relatable and funny. I definitely hope to go back to Disneyland again but in the meantime their show helps keep the magic going.
