IndiekixxFinally some clarity!I’m a cradle catholic who left christianity for 20 years. I’ve had a deep longing to return to a Christian community and grappled with so many personal constraints with Catholicism. This podcast has really helped me to navigate what it means to be Catholic and my misconceptions in Catholicism. I real appreciate the easy explanations and review of the catechism. Highly recommend to anyone who is catholic, is interested Catholicism or has questions about the catholic faith.

CappuchiccaOrthodox, Straightforward, Adorably FunnyRead about this podcast awhile back in a magazine while on a retreat…fast forward to today, my teenage daughter and I are both obsessed with Caitlin, all of the context, her accent and humor - it’s just such a fun way to keep long commutes in the car interesting and has fostered great conversations. My daughter has shared this with friends and teachers who also have joined the fan club. Can’t wait to keep listening. “K byyyyeeeeeeee!”

sophmt123A gem of a podcast!I’m a cradle-Catholic in my mid-20s. Recently, some conversations in which I poorly defended the Catholic Church led me to realize how little I understand my own faith. I found this podcast while searching for something engaging and digestible to strengthen my basics and deepen my knowledge of the Catholic faith in general. I can’t recommend this podcast enough, nor would I be able to thank Caitlin enough for this incredible faith journey her podcast has led me on. She really is a wonderful speaker and very knowledgeable, and I love how often she brings real-world examples and metaphors into her talks. I’ve gone through 20 episodes in less than 2 weeks, and will probably want to listen to them all over again when I’m caught up. It’s perfect for both Catholics and non-Catholics looking to learn more.

shoemediaNEWBIEI am new to the Catholic faith. I was raised Methodist and fell away from the church. Fast forward 30 years and 4 kids later and God , (out of nowhere), has put it on heart that I need to get myself and my family back to church, buuuuut….not the Methodist church. I’ve always had a curiosity with the Catholic faith/church. The history, literature, art, etc…. It’s always been interesting. Now I know why. So, I started researching becoming Catholic and discovered so much. Caitlyn address all the most important points of the fait with excellent examples and explanation! Thank you Caitlyn! I recommend this podcast if you’re new to the faith, curious, or you just want to brush up on Catholicism.

Mark.AjowaySimply the best!ENLIGHTENING, INTERESTING, & ENTERTAINING! First some background so you will get where I’m coming from.I am 66 years old and I professional songwriter and musician. I was DEEPLY involved with a Presbyterian Evangelical church in Colorado Springs growing up. Like Jacob I have been wrestling with God my entire life. I tried a few churches as an adult, but none of them set me alight. I could not even make myself feel engaged with these churches. I tried not believing in God at all but it did not stick. I learned about all of the major religions; John Huston’s THE RELIGIONS OF MAN is recommended. I was a searcher rather like Pi in the book/film LIFE OF PI. I stumbled upon Bishop Barron several months ago. I attended Mass with friends on Christmas Eve and missed weekly Mass just once since (wife’s surgery kept me away). I have found my place at last. I start RCIA in September. I looked for RCIA resources on YouTube and watched a couple of video collections taken from a live RCIA classroom. Those were ok but a little boring. I searched for an RCIA Podcast on Spotify and discovered Caitlin’s extraordinarily great podcast. No really, I MEAN GREAT! This is hands down the very best religion/theology teaching that I have ever found. Caitlin delivers her message with great passion; it is enlightening, interesting, entertaining and sometimes very funny. Most importantly, when I listen to this podcast it seems as though Caitlin is speaking to me personally - That’s really hard to pull off with audio media only. I burned through the first 27 episodes in 2.5 days. I could not get enough of this learning. I am now going back through episodes at a slower pace for deeper learning. BRAVO CAITLIN!

LP.22for all but perfect for youthIf you’re a young person who wants a digestible way of learning about Catholicism without getting confused or bored, listen to this podcast. I have the attention span of a squirrel, yet it never loses my interest. She also integrates pop culture references which can be helpful for young people. My favorite thing is that she frequently brings up resources you can look up that are just as digestible so that you always have somewhere to go to if you’re curious. I’ve never been so excited and grateful for a podcast, ever. God bless.

B from VANot Enough Stars to GiveThis is an amazing podcast for those who have become interested in Catholicism. Caitlin is awesome at this and I truly hope she branches out with more content (Patreon, Locals, website, etc.) in the future. I’d also love to see a separate podcast that does a deeper dive into particular subjects and perhaps some interviews. Caitlin, you should be very proud of what you are doing. 🤙

Dan BaloghIs it possible to make the Catechism of the Catholic Church accessible? The answer is yes! I love this podcast! Caitlin West is very fun and engaging and she really knows her stuff. Her use of personal experiences as analogies makes some really tough concepts much more understandable. I can’t wait for more!
