Absolutely fantastic podcast! Mr. Toast and Mr. Brandon aka Ben of Temeria are so knowledgeable on all things Witcher! This show has helped me expand my knowledge, library, and game play. Thank you for feeding my addictionšŸ˜‰!! (I’ve listened to every episode at least thrice) I urge anyone slightly interested in the Witcher to give this podcast a listen. (And if you LOVE the Witcher join the Discord!!) P.S. hear me out… two episodes a week? šŸ‘€

    Great show with good information
I have always loved the Witcher games but only recently started reading the books, this caused me to start wanting to learn about the lore of the series. I found this podcast and have been listening for a few weeks and love all the details and information! Both Tom and Toasty are great hosts and love learning about all the deeper lore! Bless you!

    Great show
These guys do a great job. Thoughtful and interesting conversation points with each episode. I found myself looking forward more to the commentary on the Netflix episodes than the Netflix episodes themselves. Hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and charismatic.

    Amazing show!
I have listened to every episode of this podcast and love it! I don’t get as in depth as a lot of the patrons do, but I do have to say I have an original Witcher character that I’ve made improvements to for my renfaire that I’ll be attending over the next few weeks. Super awesome show and can’t wait for the next episodes! Stay safe on the path!

    Love the Show
I’ve been watching this show since the very beginning. I’ve been on the path since playing the Witcher 1 and I never looked back. I beat all the games, keep up with the show, but have yet to read the books. However, one thing I must say is his name Iorveth, pronounced YOR-Veth šŸ˜‚šŸ«¶šŸ» Keep up the good work boys. Mmmhm

    Great podcast
If you are a Witcher fan, like myself, this is a great podcast to listen to. It breaks down all of the part of the Witcher that may seem difficult to you to understand by reading the book. It helps you create a timeline of what is taking place and how the Witcher came to be. GREAT PODCAST!

FINALLY! A lore podcast for everyone!
I am by no means someone who fits in with the general category of ā€œnerd culture,ā€ and am more of an outdoorsy type of person. I only casually play videogames as something to do in the winter, I am still not 100% sure what Twitch actually is for, and to be honest I don’t even really like podcasts… usually. I first got into the Witcher TV show as a way to bond with my little brother who is on the spectrum, and I quickly became OBSESSED with the Witcher universe! I just finished The Last Wish and started Sword of Destiny today. I am also playing the Witcher 3 on my Nintendo Switch and am loving every minute of it! Wrapping up the Heart of Stone DLC right now and having such a great time! I stumbled across this podcast while trying to find something to listen to as I do some major construction on my house and have been binging hours and hours of this absolutely amazing show for weeks now. The Witcher Lorecast dissects some really complex information about the Witcher world in a way that is fun and lighthearted, while still bringing up some great points and asks thought provoking questions. The podcast works as a perfect supplement to any form of Witcher content that you are currently consuming (and don’t worry, they give fair warning before disclosing spoilers). But what’s even more amazing is that the hosts, Tom and Toastie, have been working to foster this incredible culture that is so inviting to everyone who is interested in the Witcher world and are looking to hear more. There is no sense of elitism, gatekeeping, or other toxic traits that I often come across whenever I show the slightest interest in any type of fandom. These two have successfully built a loving community of people who have found commonality and just want to have fun discussing something they are all interested in: the world of the Witcher. Thank you guys so much for providing such a welcoming atmosphere for so many different types of people to learn more about this diverse world and for giving me more ways at to bond with my brother. All the best, keep doing what you are doing.

    Fantastic! 5 Onions!
I absolutely love this show! They will inundate you with information, perspective & fun despite how dark, tragic and sometimes downright horrifying the Witcher Universe can be. The host’s personality shine through in the way they talk about the content & how they talk to each other. So make sure to get your ā€œsomethingā€ oil ready because they smell of Death & Destiny, Heroics & Heartbreak! Right, Yeah

Awesome show for a newbie nerd/gamer!
Some months ago, after a couple of years of mostly playing mobile games, Sims, and a bug-filled Steven Universe game, I was visiting my gamer boyfriend and watching him play Witcher 3. The graphics and plot got me hooked, and Witcher 3, along with ARK, Fable, and Shadow of War was one of the first ā€œadultā€ (read: rated over E10+ AND not a simulation game) that I got into deeply. As a novice gamer with both ADHD and autism, I typically hyperfocus on a game for several days or weeks before picking up a different title and then eventually cycling back to my first. Consequently, learning about a game’s background helps me both stay engaged and beat hard levels. The Witcher Lorecast provides lots of insight, has been a work playlist mainstay for a few weeks (in which time I’ve listened to thirty-something episodes), and has gotten me very excited to continue reading the books (I read The Last Wish before I started listening and am currently waiting impatiently for Blood of Elves to be checked back in at my local library). Not only that, but as someone who’s typically not a big movie fan, the show convinced me to watch Nightmare of the Wolf, which was amazing! Thanks for your hard work, and keep doing what you’re doing!

    Awesome!
Absolutely love the podcast! I’ve been a huge fan of the Witcher series for a long time and am very happy to see it getting the love it deserves! These guys are a delightful bunch and wonderful to listen to!

    Vesemir would approve
Excellent show! Both the host make the unfamiliar lore of the Witcher easy to understand. Showing how it changes from it’s origins to over the course of the media. If you have ever been interested in the lore of the Witcher this is the podcast for you!

    Grab your something oil
Absolutely phenomenal show. I started my journey on the path a few years ago with Witcher 3 and going backwards and this show has filled in so many lore gaps for me. It has everything from breakdowns on every monster the world has to offer, important characters, world-changing events, and discussions on important topics like how each school makes a Witcher and how many haircuts you could have instead of going to a magical college for 12 years (1,440). Tom ā€œRobotsā€and ā€œYou’ll Never Spell My Name Rightā€ Toasy are incredible hosts - knowledgeable, entertaining, and passionate about the Witcher Universe. Keep up the good work and good luck on the path.

Most informative podcast for Witcher fans
I love the podcast it’s the best out there in my opinion. The episode reviewing S2E5 where you addressed a critique about your attempted humor struck a nerve. I don’t see how you can be so upset about a reviewer saying they didn’t appreciate the shoe-horned attempts at humor made by the hosts in an effort to get a laugh. Your podcast is critiquing a show and fandom and giving your opinions; the reviewer did just that and wasn’t even overly rude about it. However you took that critique super personal and complained the entire episode even busting out the super mature mocking voice to prove how much it didn’t bother you. Idk what to say as the podcast grows you will have critics and bad reviews I just hope everytime it happens you don’t take it this personally and let it run into the content for the rest of the listeners. Love your work and hope you keep it coming.

Toss a coin to this podcast
As a Witcher newbie and history teacher I am so excited to have found a podcast that I hits so many of my interests: fantasy genre + mythology + The Witcher. I became a fan through the show, then played Witcher 3, and am currently reading the books. This podcast has gotten me through hours of grading when I can’t get my Witcher itch from watching the show, playing the game, or reading. Thank you for all you do!!

A Leshen ate my homework (and all my free time)
The show hooked me, I’m drowning in the books and now the Witcher 3 game is reeling me in. Basically my entire pop culture life has been consumed by a Leshen (literally no carrion). There’s a lot to know about life on the continent: so dark! so brutal! and yet also weirdly hilarious. These fellas have been amazing guides on the path to help fill in some holes every time I go, ā€œwait, what?!ā€ Like how Blood of Elves is labeled book 1 but it isn’t actually the starting point?! Before I had Teauxstea breaking it all down with the details, I was a little lost. I appreciate the depth of knowledge and passion they have for Witcher lore and that they explore all parts of the Witcherverse, not just the show or the game but all stories on all the platforms. They also give their fans a voice on the show from time to time. 5 out of 5 medallions! Pull up a chair, pour yourself a potion and give this podcast a listen if you love the Witcher. Thanks guys for keeping the show fresh while we wait for more content from the Witcherverse.

My Wife Thinks I’m a Genius
Tom (Robots) and Teauxstea (Toes-, Toast-, Tōest-, etc.) have made a such a great show to help me better understand the vast world of the Witcher books, series, and games. I recently got my wife into the Netflix series and used this show as my companion piece to help answer any questions she had. Originally she thought it was all my own knowledge until she heard me laughing at something I was listening to and looked at what it was. Needless to say, I have to give credit where it’s due and these gentlemen deserve every bit of it! P.s. The community they’ve created has allowed me to connect with others and even ask Teauxstea some of my own questions that he was gracious enough to answer. You really get the whole package here!

    Great Source of Info!
When I get interested in a new subject I find myself scouring the internet trying to find out everything about it that I can. As a watcher of the Netflix series and player of the third game, compounded with my pathological need to scour the wiki, I thought that I was knowledgeable enough - but I love to put the podcast on while I’m working and listening to the hosts geek out over the real world applications of lore and other little tidbits that I thought I was the only one that cared about! Slowly working my way through the episodes, I hope to catch up soon!
  • JHippidyHop
    Great Show!
I’m still trying to get caught up on the podcast but I have loved it so far! Tons of knowledge between the two. They really love the content and make learning about The Continent fun and entertaining. Thank you guys!
  • XevKai
    Great for a few episodes
Lots of lore and hard work done - but the host tends to trail off into the weeds trying to be funny. Would have been ok here and there but after a while it gets annoying.

    Excellent podcast!
I love the knowledge and background that these guys have! It’s an intricate world and they do a wonderful job navigating it. Thanks for the hard work!

    Great Witcher Lore podcast
As a witcher gamer and a new reader to the books this is an excellent companion podcast about the dense world of ā€˜The Continent’. Highly recommended for all fans of the Witcher especially non book readers.

    Absolutely FANTASTIC
There’s no better thing than listening to someone talk about something that you love and they love it just as much and more. More than enthusiastic the entire time. Takes time to go through as much details as possible and so much more.

Just started so I’m catching up on all the older stuff. I love the context and the discussion. You guys rock. Burn butcher burn!!

    Great podcast!
Just started listening yesterday and really love 1) the background lore 2) the reviewing of the episodes. I just watched Season 1 for the second time around and saw so much I'd missed the first round. I'm rewatching Season 2 and this podcast adds so much to the experience. Thanks guys!

Great lore channel for Witcher fans!
My wife and I started rewatching the Witcher on Netflix ahead of season 2, we also watched Witcher anime and I previously had finished The Witcher 3 on PC. I found this podcast because I was looking for a little more background on certain things in universe and boy do these guys deliver! Seriously, if you’re looking for more lore associated with the Witcher universe look no further, this is the podcast for you.

    Wonderful podcast!
I first found The Witcher Lorecast after watching season 1 of the Witcher! I was eager to dive more into the lore of the Witcher and wanted to hear what others thought of the show. Thanks to the podcast I’ve been able to engage more with the Witcher universe and am now working my way through the books. I love listening to the podcast in the car and can’t wait for all the episodes surrounding season 2. Thank you!

    Lorecast
I am new to The Witcher, I haven’t played the games yet, I’ve just been reading the books and watching the show. I thoroughly enjoy Tom & Toastie and the banter. Thanks guys for giving me a deeper look into the world. Keep it up!

    ā€œIt’s Onionā€
Very in depth when it comes certain aspects, especially when re-capping the episodes from the Netflix series, they jumpstart my brain into remembering the scenes like I just watched them!

    Blown away
I was scrolling around on the internet for the score from the video game, happened to find the podcast so I said ā€œf it I’ll give it a listenā€ I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy it (I’m very picky about podcasts), I have been listening to it almost non stop for the last few days, I usually have it in my earbuds at work. Thank you for reigniting my enjoyment for the games and the books. I recommended the fallout, Skyrim and Witcher lore casts to my coworker, he loves Bethesda games but I told him it’s a very nice in-depth teaching for Witcher lore. I will be recommending to more friends and family that get into the Witcher.

    It's Onion
Tom said if I wrote the words he would read the words so here are the words I wrote for Tom to read: I have really enjoyed listening to the podcast each week. Lord Toasty McToasterson of Toastertonopolis is really well versed in Witcher Lore and Tom's passion of connecting all the dots together between the TV series, books, video games, and the real world is really interesting to listen to. I have learned more new things about characters I love in the last few weeks, than I did on my last playthough. Keep up the great work guys and stay safe on the path. I am Geralt of Rivia and this is my favorite Lorecast in Temeria. ~Jennasis~

Amazing podcast about all things Witcher
I have listened to a lot of other podcasts about The Witcher and I must say most of them are elementary compared to this masters level Witcher podcast. P.S. why not Toasti of Tostaria?

    ā€œHmmmmā€¦ā€
This podcast is pretty cool and informative. Got into the Witcher because of the game and then the Netflix show. I really want to read the book but could never find the time. With this podcast, I can get much better insight into the lore and story of the World of the Witcher. Also, I like the chemistry of the hosts. The high energy of Tom and the calmer Toastie, work really well together. Recommend for anyone who’s into all things, The Witcher.
  • Ed Of Lyria
    Spooktober!!!!
I’ve been listening for about a week I started with the Netflix show and have now moved in to the games l. You guys are awesome I love the show it’s super informative and I now host a listening party with my friends we all really enjoy the show. We are all now new Witcher’s in training!
  • tiezar
    Witcher Talk and Hilarious Banter
Listening to the two host go at each other is just hilarious. You can just feel Tostie’s (Don’t know current proper spelling, LOL) patience ebbing away as Tom makes another joke in the middle of the former's explanation of a specific event or person. The Witcher is an amazing, but dark property. Having the two host break up the seriousness of some of the events with humor is the perfect way to discuss the rich world of the Witcher. Yet through it all they manager to dive deep into the lore from the books, movies and games. Keep up the good work.

    Great Content
You guys have done an excellent job covering a ton of topics that aren’t really covered in depth anywhere else, all while making it extremely entertaining! I’m a HUGE fan of the game series, but I recently began reading the books. Listening to the show has given me more insight into the Witcher world and answered questions that I’ve had about the lore. I’m excited to hear what’s next and keep up the awesome work!
  • lalalennie
    So much fun
I recently started diving into the Witcher books and I wanted to hear other people talk about them besides myself. I typed ā€œWitcherā€ into the podcast search bar and I’m very glad I did! Wow! This podcast is the perfect amount of lore, enthusiasm, and random knowledge of the world that somehow ties in. I can’t wait for more, especially with season 2 on the way!

    Awesome show
Absolutely love this show. Can’t wait for each episode to come out. If you are a Witcher fan, this is the show for you. It’s such a large universe and these guys are covering it in a great way. Keep up the great work.

    Third time writing this review
So—First off. This is the third time I’ve written this review… So *pat on the back for dedication.* I was first introduced to the Witcher series through the Wild Hunt—as most have. I first played through for just the story, I’ve never been a grind-type person… But then I picked up the books, scoured YouTube, and then the Netflix series came out. After that, I started diving into the Lore even more and relaunched the game on Death March (although, not true to form. It was New Game Plus). The Witcher series is a wonderfully crafted lore-rich narrative that highlights what great storytelling is. Thanks for the Podcast. No Promises, but unless someone claims that G.O.D tier before me, I’ll be gunning for that.

The right guys for the job
Hosts Robots and Toaster do a great job going through all aspects of The Witcher while keeping up to date with anything new going on with the TV show and video games. Their other shows are great too, but this is by far my favorite franchise they’ve taken on to date. Keep up the great work!

Great podcast for any Witcher fan!
I’ve been a Witcher ever since The Witcher launched on PC. If you’re a casual fan or a die hard fan like myself, you will enjoy all things witcher in this podcast, the history/lore of this universe is great! I hope anyone who finds this podcast take a listen!

    All Witcher All The Time
I was a moderate fan of the Witcher, having only played Witcher 3 and read a few of the comics. But I am interested in the history and lore. In just the first three episodes I have learned more about the rich history of this world than I thought existed. I am hooked like Geralt with Gwent. I am now picking up the books, so way to go Toasty and Robots on a great lore series. I recommend this to anyone interested in the history and lore of the game and books.

    Witcher justice has been served!
Love everything about this show. The dynamic the hosts have, the layout, the information , and the depth of knowledge these hosts have on the Witcher makes you take a step back and truly appreciate the world of the Witcher as it should be.

    Another great lorecast!
Started with Cyberpunk Lorecast and got sucked down the rabbit hole that is the Robots Radio and all the Lorecasts that come with. Love the Witcher and excited to learn more about the world. You can tell both hosts love the Witcher and both bring good information and insight into the world and lore.
