I loved this podcast - I think I’ve listened to almost every single one; I love listening to Charlie talk and her last episode (second shooters pt 2) was her constantly rushing him along. I feel like these episodes are becoming more rushed and running out of topics. Also what’s up w all the ads now? If we are going to run ads at least make them relevant to photography.

I love her content but omg it’s been driving me up a wall how much fluff there is. I already have it on 1.25 speed and I have to search to find the actual start 21 minutes into the episode, after 3 ads. Might stop listening if it continues

First time listener and I’ve listened to 15 minutes about the host herself— yikes. Hoping to change my review after listening to a few more, but honestly just turned off at this point.

I love cassidy!!!! She is so fun, knowledgeable, and genuine. This is such a good podcast for all creatives to add into their rotation:)

Love the podcast but talking too close to the mic recently hearing a lot more than your words and it’s not flattering 😞 I usually listen to the whole podcast but I had to cut it short one a few this new year

Overall, it’s not a bad podcast. It’s becoming more of a not your typical photo podcast but a mixture of culture and influencer stuff But the thing I can’t get out of my head are some of the advice she gives. There was a person that asked what they need in order to do infant photography. If there are any courses that they should take. Cassidy said that you don’t need anything to start with any form of photography. Which as a mom is horrendous advice- you don’t legally need it but from an ethical stance- it’s critical to do your research before ever touching a child. I would never ever go to a photographer that doesn’t have kids or have certificates of dealing with swaddling and CPR to ever touch my child for a photo shoot.

This podcast has gone down hill so much. You can tell she’s run out of topics. She used to actually talk about helpful educational things & now she just talks about social media and outsourcing .. both of which are common sense things. She also is extremely self absorbed. When she interviews people you can tell she truly isn’t interested in what they’re saying and she somehow always circles the convo back to herself.

I really enjoy this podcast! I love that Cassidy shares about her life, light-hearted topics, as well as talking about the joys and struggles of being a photographer! Really relatable fun content. It’s nice to have a fun podcast to turn to on a long day of editing. Thank you for sharing and being fun Cassidy!

Waaaay too much time spent on irrelevant personal stories. Whenever I’ve listen to this podcast I have to fast forward through all that…last straw was when the actual content was 40 minutes into the episode. When it comes to the photography content, it seems like this may be more of a podcast for photographers that are hung up on following the latest trends. Every now and then there has been some good advice, but overall not very helpful and hard to listen to

When I first found this podcast I almost stopped listening after the first episode because it didn't feel "serious" enough. I kept listening because despite my initial judgment, the content is actually really good. Fast forward and honestly I now love the laid back casual tone. It is helpful in encouraging diving into topics you don't feel 100% on, and it feels like a friend is telling you about said thing rather than a perfectionist, mansplainer or untouchable an master.

Is all I heard on the episode I listened to. Voices pierced my ears and the rate at which they talked broke the sound barrier. This podcast is made by influencers for wanna be influencers.

Cassidy and her wealth of information through this podcast has been a guiding light in the complex realm of photography. In a world where there is so much to sort through, Cassidy unpacks it with a simple and fun manner that makes it easily approachable for all levels of photographer. I’m looking forward to hearing more! And also that opening tune by @mattngesa hits me in the feels every time.

Every time I listen to Cassidy's podcast, I walk away feeling so inspired and motivated. I just listened to the episode with Haley Chicoine and it's a must-not-miss episode for any photographers who are moving to a new market -- so many great tips on how to establish yourself and get your business rolling! I also just love how personable Cassidy is -- she really makes it feel like everyone belongs, and if she can do it, so can you ♥

I absolutely love this podcast, it is the first one I’ve ever written a review for so that alone should say something! 😂 I love listening to Cassidy literally any time of the day, whether I’m editing or just driving to the shoot I don’t get tired of listening! She is so relatable and I actually like the intro/outro song, usually I skip through those in other podcasts but this one is just so dang catchy!!! So thankful that she not only spreads her own knowledge but shares submissions from other photographers, it helps me feel seen and another way to get in touch with the photography community! 🩷

She started off talking A LOT about herself and her hair and how it’s a different color now and on and on…I can’t speak for everyone else, but I could care less about that. She seems a little self absorbed and I couldn’t listen to another second of it.

I love this podcast because as someone who is often late to trends, Cassidy is always teaching me about what's up and coming in the photography world as well as what's out. It's very informative, but my favorite episodes are the ones where she reads horror stories/ funny/ embarrassing stories from her followers. Cassidy has a great sense of humor and listening to this podcast always helps me relax and have a good laugh.

It’s about time that I write a review after binge listening to this podcast on the regular 😅 I listen to this on my way to my driving travel photography gigs and it provides me with so much comfort. I’ve learned a lot about the industry without even paying! Picking the brains of seasoned professional photographers is usually really difficult because they’re busy or charge for their knowledge. I’m so glad I came across this podcast, and I’m so thankful that Cassidy Lynne is giving us newbies a safe space to hear from the mistakes and the successes of others to be more prepared for the future! ❤️❤️

If only I could put into words, everything that Cassidy has taught me. I have only been a wedding photographer for about a year now, and wanted to start taking my business more seriously. I have been able to book over five weddings for next year after only listening to this podcast for a month. Not only does she make it feel possible to live my dreams as a photographer, but she feels like a friend who I can talk to when I feel discouraged in my work. Thank you, Cass, for helping me see that it’s not impossible, even for an average girl like me.

Overall, I enjoy this podcast. A lot of great advice and love the horror stories (we need more! 😉) However, sometimes it feels like you are rushing your guests, or aren’t interested in what they are saying. I feel like they have so much more they want to say that I would love to hear. I’m assuming it is nerves or that you are worried about time but it is something I’ve noticed that bothers me a bit because they are taking a lot of time out of their day. 🤍

It’s kinda like reality tv but a photography podcast (in a good way!) 🤣 I’ve been a photographer for 10 years and learn things here and there, but more so than that this podcast relaxes me! It’s like a break (but not full break) from hardcore business stuff, while still learning. Listened to almost every one! 🤪✌🏻 you go girl

I have recently gotten back into photography since high school (graduated in 2007) and listening to this podcast has helped so much! I have recently enrolled into a digital photography class and I’m so nervous but this show has made me feel not only comfortable about it but also excited! Thank you!

I came across this podcast via episode 135 talking about 25 lessons she learned. What I loved about it and the podcast in general is the positive supportive feel in how she delivers the information. If you’re a photographer, I highly recommend you give it a listen.

I’ve only listened to 5 or so episodes, lots of good info especially on the business and operations end of things. Being a good photographer and running a photo business are two very different things so thank you. The only hesitation is Cassidy’s frequent use of the word literally, it’s literally a little distracting. Edit: Ok so this was written like 4 hours ago. I’ve listened to like 5 more episodes. I’m sorry. This show is LITERALLY great and I was just having a bad day. I fell off a ladder and you were my closest person to vent to. I’m sorry. I love your show. 😁

In a podcast niche that’s some what saturated she does a great job of keeping you engaged and coming back every week to see what’s new. Her mellow personality and relatable energy definitely also help to make the show fun without distracting from the important info she shares on every episode.

This podcast is an incredible way to help build a photography business. It makes me feel like I really am besties with Cassidy and she’s always there to support me in my journey. She incorporates her husband, Charlie, and so many other guests that add so much value. Not to mention she’s just a fun person to listen to. I am always SO excited to see what she has next for us! Informative, but each time I can’t listen through - because of the repetition of the words « ya » « you know » « hum » « literally » « like literally » is used 100000 times in 30 minutes podcasts. PERSONALLY It is very painful to listen. I wish her elocution was more fluid, steady, and mature. I wish she will care more of what the listener is hearing. Besides that, she is beautiful, fun, and informative. Thank you!

I stopped at the part where she mentioned the “guy who invented the light bulb. Or was it electricity? So if you’re like Albert Einstein…”

I’ve listened to 10 episodes so far. I love listening to different angles from photographers to get me out of my own creative ruts. She has a different perspective than I do on things and that’s why I want to keep trying. This might be a great podcast for you but I struggle with the word like over and over. I also feel like she pics a topic and really has no plan on what, or how, she is going to address the topic. Tends to get lost on the way of actually making a point. This is a difficult genre to have an audio discussion about so I feel when you approach it you must be very precise. Worth a listen to see if those two issues are enough to keep you away but I think I will move on.

She has lots of great tips. Enjoy what she has to say but I can only listen to a bit at time because she’s very heavy on the “girl accent”. The way she talks is a little annoying.

I found Cassidy on Instagram after starting my photography page literally just randomly found her and have been following her and her podcast ever cents! Her podcast is one of my favorites not only for all the info and knowledge and wonderful gas that she brings on but my favorite thing about her may be the fact that she almost always stumbles over her words, because I can relate so much and it just makes me want to be friends with her!!

I SO badly want to love and listen to this podcast, as Cassidy does have a ton of great info, but the amount of times she says “like” makes me feel like I have a nervous tick. I’ve given it so many chances in hopes this would improve over time, but it doesn’t seem to be that way. I’ll be finding a new podcast for photographers for this reason, sadly.
