    Just ok
I thought this would focus more on the truck driver and woman in plaid and (spoiler alert) she is never found and the case is indeed, not solved. Disappointed when I got to the end without knowing what happened to the mom

    Cool concept, poor quality
I gave it a solid three episode chance, but I just can’t get past the terrible audio quality and poor narration. The hosts sound like robots and it honestly takes away from the story.

Great Work for the Cause, Okay Podcast
The care and attention the Solvable Team, Greg and Amanda are giving to the cause of helping Jane and John Does find their names is incredible. Thank you for doing that work! The pocdcast itself is a 3-star review for me, because of a few reasons. The phone recorded interviews are extremely difficult to hear and made each episode hard to track with. Also, the trailer and title of the show are misleading, because I was hoping to find out who caused Alicia’s death, but that is not the case. And lastly, the episodes are too short with too many commercials. But it is an incredible feat to give Baby Jane, Alicia, her name back!

Good story but the narration is awful. It sounds like bots are reading the script. Audiochuck usually has such great speakers... I'm surprised.

    Too much filler
Approximately 45 minutes in and the information provided so far could’ve been provided in less than 10 minutes. There seems to be a lot of repetition and a lot of filler. episode, seriously? The episode was 20 minutes long and not the least bit complicated. The interviews with the people involved in the case don’t really move the story forward at all.

Loved this show & I need more
I love this type of information in cases. I love seeing police departments using outside resources to help them. Technology has come such a long way and to have these John and Jane Doe’s identified by genealogy is amazing. Truly amazing work. Can’t wait for season 2.

    Too much
Way too many characters and people to keep up with. Lots of victims and information to sort out. I like the concept but 5 episodes in and Im confused about what is going on. Sorry. I don’t have time.

    Love the concept!
This was a great concept for a podcast! I can’t wait to hear more. I know the more seasons that come the better the podcast. Hope they get the funding they need to help all those Jon/Jane Doe’s!

    Audio
Please start up a go fund me page for some sound equipment, and a sound engineer. Half of this sounds like people talking in the bathroom on speakerphone. Great story, horrible audio I mean at least you can fix it in ProTools!!! Sheeeesh… Hahaha!!! The sheriff actually got the whole town together and pronounced her name wrong???!!🤪👮🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

    New season???
Loved this story. I heard an in depth podcast regarding this story and it was so much better. Where are the new seasons and episodes that were promised in the original trailer?

    Awesome Series
This story was so well told. I started listening at night to help me go to sleep. LOL I wound up binging the whole series instead. Thank you for sharing this. It was incredible

Hard to understand the phone interviews
Great story too bad the quality of most of the many phone interviews makes it hard to understand.

    Good n quick listen
Listen to the whole podcast- we’ll done. I think covering more cases would be great

    Episode
Where are the new seasons and episodes, looks like maybe someone bit off more than they can chew? Too many podcasts with zero new stuff?

    Just Amazing
Wow. I listen to so many long form true crime podcasts that follow one case and this season 1 is one of the best I’ve heard. I got chills, I cried, I was angry and sad, but hopeful all at the same time. Thank you for bringing important cases like this to light and working to restore peoples identities and giving families answers.

    Great show
I loved this podcast but I’m so confused why they talked about the dead woman they found the same day but never connected that they may be related? Did I miss that part? What are the odds of finding two bodies in the same town on the same day?
  • wendypeanut
    Ok
Great content, but episodes are too short (so mostly end up being ads and “reviews”) and too many ads!
  • BaileyGJo
Content is good, but HOLY ADS
I love the content of this podcast and how they’re quick listens. That said, please lay off the ads! We already listen to The Deck, you really do not need to tell me about it every 5 minutes or three times a show. It’s excessive.

    Great Binge Show!
Really nice listen to pass the time, but a little hard to keep track of if you someone who listens in increments. A swell as not great audio of interviews but overall a really interesting and entertaining show.
  • isbell
    Great Show. Mediocre Audio.
Even out the levels. Clean up phone call recordings. Listen to your shoe while driving, not just in a podcast sound studio with 400$ headphones. Please. I have to adjust levels for you on the fly while I’m driving to understand what’s going on.

    Baby Jane
This podcast had me GLUED to my headphones. (I listened on headphones because some of the heavy southern accents where hard to understand). The dedication and empathy of law enforcement in this case to give Baby Jane a name and her family back after 40 years was nothing short of miraculous. I only hope that her momma will soon be found to finally rest beside her beautiful little angel. Condolences to the family. Excellent podcast. I would say who I thought killed them but I don’t want to ruin for you all.

Amazing! Great Podcast. Definitely recommend. 5 stars for sure!!
  • Dog0Mom
    Love this format
Kept me on the edge of my seat; love the 20 minute episodes. The hosts broke the story up into a really logical sequence. Most of all, the folks they interviewed were so passionate about finding justice for Baby Doe, it felt like true crime done right.

    Addictive… very well done!!
    Awesome enjoyed it tremendously

    Hooked!!
Immediately was hooked. Straight and to the point. I love actual people that were involved in the cases.

    A slow burn
Great for a long road trip! Not really ideal for every day listening, in my opinion, but wonderful if you’ve got a long trip where you’re looking to burn some time.
  • Kathyb527
    Good content
The cheesy sound effects are extremely annoying! And why do some interviews sound like they were recorded in the bathroom?
  • AbbyKadabby2
    Must listen
I love this one. Straight and to the point with factual information minus opinions

    Title should be “Not Solved”
Listened to first season “Long Bridge”. As far as I could tell, 2 missing babies and 2 missing moms. Story bounced around and the only think that was solved as far as I could tell was they used DNA of one of the babies to find an aunt. There was an initial thread about a suspicious truck driver that was teased but never followed up on or closed out. Found the 10 part series unsatisfying and not insightful or conclusive. Definitive conclusions could have been covered in one show.

    Local Listener
I was born and raised in Jackson County. I have never heard this story and these two hosts have done a fabulous job capturing the local feel and telling an important story. Can’t wait to see where season 2 takes us!
  • Frostyracer
    Waste of time.
I listened to this podcast and just got increasingly annoyed, as the contents of the entire series could have easily been condensed into a single 20 min episode. All of the episodes waste almost the entire episode rehashing what has already been discussed and then speculating on what might have happened (sadly common in podcasting these days). Other episodes waste time with long monologues from people involved where they talk about what interested them about the case and how crazy it was that they were the same age as the victim!!!! None of this moves the story along, and basically the whole series comes down to: account of woman and baby wandering down a highway in MS. Later body of woman found in on river, baby in another. Genealogical DNA reveals baby’s identity. Other body for some reason never identified, and the mother is presumed dead, although of course they talk to some people think she’s still alive. That’s it.

    Super Impressed!
This was a fantastic podcast. The formatting of the way it was pieced together was done very well. I look forward to listening to another podcast of this caliber! These two hosts did a wonderful job of bringing the story to life! 🙌🏼

    “Phillip” did it!
Obviously “Phillip” didn’t really leave his wife and lied to Gwen to get her out of the state where he could get rid of his problem. Very clear cut. Where was the UHaul turned in and by who. He just got rid of Gwen and her child by murdering and disposing of them in an extremely rural area in Mississippi. He got away with a double murder.
  • paynelester
    About gwen
What if ted was philip? What if he abandoned gwen and baby and she decided she couldn’t take care of her baby alone and left it alone… or what if he abandoned them and she left baby i. A certain area where noone can see them and then left to go get help and forgot where baby was after returning so just left and when back to Missouri under a new identity…. Or what if philip lied to gwen and tricked her into moving to flordia all while planning their murders… he was a cop he knew how to get rid of a body. What if he killed gwen and baby and felt horribleness so called in the police about baby?

    Nice
Nice podcast. I listen to way to many crime podcast. But this one is different. I love how you get the police and everyone that was involved voice. I just wish they were longer

    Enjoyed Very Much!
Really liked the way this was presented and loved all the details given. The hosts voices were great. I listen to a lot of crime podcasts and loved this series because, 1) content, 2) narrators, 3) details in content, 3) insight into the Jackson county law enforcement dedication, 4) story, 5) interviews. Nor necessarily in that order because these were all equally top notch. Thank you and hope there is another season!

    Sound quality
This would have been so much better if the recordings on speakerphone.

    Review
Starts out slow but really picks up in the second half. Full body chills when baby Doe was identified!
  • Mamabearhouston
    Great show!
Hosts voices are easy to listen to. Also love to listen to the actual people involved in the case. Interesting and well done!

Compelling story but the hosts bring it down
The hosts are so scripted I got confused more than once on whether or not I was listening to an advertisement. Better hosts or story telling would have made this a great podcast. So much potential but it fell short for me.
