    Life- Changing Work
Thank you, Megghan Thompson, for these podcasts and the wisdom you share! I have learned so many life-changing skills through your teaching and coaching!!! Learning the difference between ADHD and HSC roots was especially helpful when we’re working through “what’s next” with understanding our daughter. Thank you

    The best parenting coach!
The content of this podcast isn’t the entire program. But this allows you to get a sneak peek at what it is like which is excellent material for parenting your children with their emotions at the forefront.

Megghan is an expert in her field, she and the MTC team helped to transform our family dynamics and shift from survival to thriving. I can’t speak highly enough about her passion, knowledge, and support. We’ve completed bootcamp and 2 amazing years of Mastery level work that has helped us thrive in all areas of our life.

    ❤️❤️❤️
Megghan is an expert in her field. Having close contact with HSC that went through her process I can attest that she knows her stuff and her process works!! Her heart centered way of guiding parents on how to lead their children so that they can flourish in today’s world truly shows how she cares about the entire family’s success!!

Actual program is as disappointingly incomplete as the podcast
Alumni here. Great information/processes within bootcamp to help hsc families breakout of meltdown cycle. Though our own perserverence and hard work (20-30 hrs per week of studying material) were quite effective to a certain point. ALSO true this program is incomplete and uses the ‘free continued support’ that is promised upon signup as a way for Megghan to ego stroke and continue to pitch additional support programs that cost anywhere from $100/month for mildly helpful mindset content to 1-12k for month/yearlong skill support. Megghan’s superiority complex, consistent disparagement of other hsc training/support programs, unwillingness to make accomodations for different learning styles, low emotional intelligence (though brilliant at giving advice- she has immense difficulty applying her own teachings in real life conflict resolution), unwillingness to recieve or implement student feedback, and litering of her entire program with constant sales pitches for further ‘training/support’- is frustrating at best. If you are ok with these things I highly suggest you proceed forward because the information she presents can actually be quite helpful for many. Being repeatedly ignored followed by getting kicked out of her program, and not having to continue these frustrating observations (after bringing up my concerns to her privately in kind ways over a series of 3-4 direct messages), felt both surprisingly relieving and hurtful.

    Not helpful
I reached out to this program for help with my HSC. I was ready to learn this miraculous method to help me become a better parent, only to be turned away due to a history of trauma for my HSC. When I pushed back and asked questions as to why they didn’t feel they could help me suddenly no one would respond to my emails.

    Sales pitch
Lots of examples of problems; zero concrete advice except to hire her. Maybe useful if you want to understand your already diagnosed HSC’s mental patterns? But not if you want to help them. That wouldn’t be a problem, except that the summary and intro to each episode imply that there will be practical advice, I cannot stress enough how devastating it is to reach the end of each episode, over and over, and realize it’s just a sales pitch. Given how traumatic is to parent and HSC without support, this marketing approach feels unnecessarily cruel. I have been turned off this coach completely, and really hope she will clarify her materials in the future.

Not useful and lots of shaming
I was so excited to listen to this podcast! But I’m curious why spend so much time shaming parents and assuming we are operating from a strict and rigid approach? Why not instead consider that if a parent is here it’s bc they want to do the best by their child and break generational trauma? Even if this is a parents starting point, no one can learn through shame. And beyond that, most of each episode is spent on sharing what people are doing wrong rather than sharing what people can do right. It’s just not helpful sadly. I love learning and am dedicated to supporting my HSC. But I will keep searching for resources where the focus is on teaching rather than condescending.

    Get to the point
I’m sorry I feel like this is helpful I information but it takes FOREVER for you to get to the point I can’t even stay focused trying to listen. Way to many examples. Like when talking about how the kid only misbehaves with you and not with others. You gave multiple examples grandmas house, aunt and uncles, daycare, school. Ect ect. And it led to another topic instead of covering the first topic. I really think this could help me learn about my daughter but unfortunately some of us can’t follow all the directions it goes in.

My Relationship with my HSC is Transformed
I feel blessed to have found this podcast and program. After reviewing books, quick tips, friends & family advice, therapy, feeling “not enough” - it was time to hire a professional to help guide my steps in parenthood as it concerned my HSC. Raising kids is no easy undertaking & more challenging when you feel lost and want to do your best in raising an emotionally intelligent child. Working with Megghan, I discovered the true meaning of jumping in with both feet & facing the tough parts of connecting with my kid, myself & parenting from a place of confidence & love - especially when it was hard. My daughter has learned how to express herself without explosions and comes to me when she’s unsure. She is at peace and I could’ve never imagined this happening at such a rapid rate without the skillful knowledge Megghan infused into our routine. Reading books and looking for quick tips isn’t the most effective strategy. As a single mom, investing in our relationship was a million percent worth every single penny. We’ll carry these mind-blowing life lessons forever. If you’re tired of things that don’t work, I encourage you to consider working one on one with Megghan to experience the gift of peace I describe. 🙌🏼

    Finally feeling seen
I’ve been resonating with this podcast since day 1. I’ve loved every episode.

    Sales pitch and unethical
Finally a place Megghan can’t erase negative reviews :) this is entirely a sales pitch without ANY real help or offering for solutions. It’s because she wants you to spend $11,000 (yes, 11k) on her 8 week bootcamp. But, if you sign up today, the price drops to $8000! After an hour long breakthrough call with a sales person, who asks your heart wrenching questions, you’re then provided the price of this program. I about choked. Sorry - but effective AND ethical help doesn’t require that kind of upfront payment. Shame on these people for exploiting desperate and suffering families. I’m surprised she hasn’t lost her license. Anyway, this podcast is an extension of her sales pitch. Join the parents of HSC Facebook group for more insight on Megghan if this didn’t solidify your decision to stay away.

    100% Recommend
We have been through many different programs, service providers, and have invested in MANY things that did not work for our family. Then we found Megghan and I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt investing in her program was worth every penny. Our son was explosive, had huge feelings, trouble at school, and we were living in survival mode at home. I was doing my best but we were stuck and spiraling. We completed the program in 2020 and I would do it again without hesitation. It changed our family lives for the better forever. The comments above seem to be from folks who haven’t actually done the program so I wanted to share a perspective from someone who had. And being inside her past client group I can tell you may other parents and families are seeing big wins too.

    Beware
I went through all of the preliminary information needed in the first call. I was determined to have a child who was indeed a Highly Sensitive Child. When it came down to it, Megghan would not work with us because my husband was not on board. I’m not sure why Megghan doesn’t offer at least SOMETHING for people in my situation. Instead, we get to hear how there’s really no other way to help your child but with coaching like hers. So you’re left feeling that you’re basically stuck with her giving just enough information but never enough to know how to help your child as she claims to own the best strategy. But she won’t even help people who want help if they don’t fit her ideal (in our case, a husband and wife who are both willing) which leaves a HSC that she claims to care so much about without ANY help. Some coaches give you help through podcasts and invite you to work in coaching with them for more personalized help but Megghan will tell you all my the ways you need her help, but then if you’re open and willing and even willing to pay, you could be left stuck being told you’re child is basically unsalvageable because you don’t have two parents in the home living together who are on board. Also, she will scrub her YouTube comment sections as well as the FB group of any negative comments about her coaching. So here’s a place you can at least hear some negatives you may not hear anywhere else.

    A big sales pitch
This podcast, as well as her website and other resources is a huge sales pitch. The podcast is basically a long commercial for her 8 week program as well as the special Facebook group. I had an introductory call for the program and I was being pitched by a sales person the whole time reading off a script by someone who was not licensed in anything. I won’t go into the details about the program but it’s insanely expensive and is not even individualized coaching with Meagan for that price. Buyer and listener beware! I’m desperate to get rid of meltdowns too in my highly sensitive child but please don’t let yourself be scammed out of desperation.

Finally I can understand my child and myself!
I can't speak highly enough about this podcast!! It has helped me understand my child and even myself better than I ever expected. Megghan does a great job of breaking down the why's of what is bothering highly sensitive children and also helps you cue into how intelligent they can be. With that knowledge you can get on your child's level and communicate so much easier. No more meltdowns and I'm building a better relationship with my son! A++

    Misconceiving
48 minutes of listening to why Megan is great, without providing any ideas, theories or techniques. Torturous waiting to hear ideas, not a 48 minute review!
