Thankful to have found Dr. Tyna as someone in their 20’s!
While Dr. Tyna is really paving the way for her listeners who are coming into their midlife I can’t help but take everything she is saying and apply it to my life (and my husbands, lol!) at 28 now. My sister (23) turned me onto her show a year or so ago and my whole family have loved it! Sharing episodes weekly that have resonated with us. Dr. Tyna does not mess around. She’s here to share amber thoughts and expertise and there is no sugar coating. I love the solo shows and hearing about Dr. Tynas lifestyle and how she applies her own practices in her life. Definitely worth a listen and diving into her archives! Thanks Dr. Tyna!

    Incredibly important info!
I listen to tons of health podcasts and this is a top favorite. So much great info, sometimes I want to take notes because I want to remember Tyna’s phrases. She’s so great. Love her brain and all she has to share.

    Amazing
Dr Tyna is a realist, intelligent, confident, and a great podcaster/speaker! One of my semaglutide patients told me about her recently and I’ve learned so much in the few weeks I’ve been listening! I’m a dietitian , nurse, and a practicing nurse practitioner

Hard to Hear But so Needed
Wow! Dr. Tyna tells it like it is!! It is hard to hear sometimes only b/c it hits the core but it is NECESSARY to hear & make changes! I wish I had started listening to her sooner. I will be going back to older episodes since I’m late to the game!

    Great information!!!!
Dr Tyna is extremely knowledgeable and gives up to date knowledge on health . She backs up her information with facts. It is hard to convince people to open up their minds to new information that contradicts what they have been taught in the past . I find her podcasts very interesting and appreciate her passion and strength to stand up to the mainstream narrative. With an open mind, please give her a listen - it might possibly change your life.

Doesn’t Share Her Health Information But Gives You Advice
Really! If you as a doctor doesn’t share your health information then how do we know you are healthy and why should we take any health advice from you?

    Excellent Health Info
I am grateful for Dr. Tyna! I have learned so much from following her on IG and listening to her podcasts.

    Pretty angry
Not sure why anyone would listen to her angry, hostile diatribes when there are myriad more nurturing and better qualified healthcare practitioners in the naturopathic space. ND turned grifter.

    Rare
It’s rare for me to write a review but I had to do it because your show is the best one I listen to and I’m always anxious to wait for the next one. Keep up the excellent work. You are much appreciated!!

    Mixed feelings
I love 90% of what Dr Tyna is saying, and I deeply respect her courage to speak out against the grain of the conventional health space. But as a C19 long hauler, I am disappointed at her stance on this condition. I am a 30 year old former endurance athlete who eats a whole food diet and does all the things (sun, sauna, supps, mindfulness, etc) and has always had impeccable bloodwork (insulin, CRP, literally everything is optimal). But after 3 years I am still very unwell. The idea the long haul is directly and exclusively correlated to how well we take care of ourselves is false. I never thought I’d get it or have any chronic health issue ever, but here I am.

Always points us back to the basics.
It’s so easy to get distracted with diet culture’s lies and schemes. Success is found with mundane faithfulness to the basics. Dr Tyna is always taking us back to those basics and I so appreciate that!

She is real & pulls no punches
If you want the truth that isn't sugar coated, you need Dr Tyna! She will tell you the truth & nothing but the truth. She is a great resource & will definatly make you question your current health care provider... trust me, you should be questioning them! She will point you in the right direction to get your heatlh back on track.-- from @ForgivenNutritionist

    The truth hurts!
I love how Dr. Tyna is brutally honest! People need to hear the truth, even if it hurts or makes you squirm. I was lucky enough to find Dr. Tyna when I was going through a really stressful time in my life. If I listed all the contributing factors it would be a mile long. I stumbled across this podcast and am so thankful! I knew that I needed to learn more about both healing and protecting my body, because I was doing everything “right” with diet and exercise yet still having issues (and as a nurse practitioner you would think I’d know). I have been in the low carb space since 2004, so I already knew that mainstream dietary health information was wrong. I knew that low carb was at least a good baseline, but why was I still suffering? Hormones out of whack, mood issues, idiopathic hives, constant stomach pain, constipation… I could go on and on. Dr. Tyna has educated me on how eating meat, getting sun, using sauna, and so much more can help our bodies heal and repair from so many things including severe stress. I will say that the safe sunning is my favorite episode and probably the most important thing I have learned. Thank you Dr. Tyna, keep up the good work! @courtneypaulsen

    Gutsy and Great info

    HORMONES!
Dr. Tyna has taught me so much over the last two years. I’m a menopausal 55+ year old and my hormones are CHAOTIC. Dr Tyna has helped me learn about metabolic dysfunction, hormones and what I need in my 50s. Her FIERCE anti-Covid stance is what truly endeared me early on! @sailormama

    Direct & to the point
I appreciate Dr Tyna’s no nonsense approach in how she shares her insights. It shows that she has put in a ton of effort to gain the knowledge she has. I think it’s inspiring that she has such a desire to share with people who want to listen. Thanks from @erinhunni

    My favorite health show
I have been listening to Dr Tyna since the pandemic. Since then I knew she was one of the good guys, a truth seeker. I started following her on Instagram and then after started listening to her podcast. She shares her knowledge and professionalism in an entertaining, no nonsense way. I love her show and find it so informative and helpful. Listening to her on my morning commute makes traffic seem not so bad. She has turned me on to many wonderful products and treatments such as sauna, red light therapy and supplements. She’s had some great guests come on the show and every episode has been eye opening. I can’t recommend her show enough. @sallye1999

    Always useful info
I found Dr Tyna in 2020 & have heard only sensible from her. I’m a gal in my 40s who need to hear this information. I do not trust my GP anymore after seeing him wear a cloth mask during the co<id nonsense (nothing healthy about that!). The variety of guests she interviews and her solo shows cover a myriad of topics. Overall, good info and Dr Tyna has a firm voice in a time of confusion and a seriousness that I need to encounter as I have more birthdays.

    Game Changing!
I have been listening to Dr Tyna for a little over 6 months and have enjoyed and learned from the podcast and her content on IG. The content is parsed out and broken down so anyone can understand it and she is just so real and vulnerable which makes it even better. She is out here being an actual healer, helping people to empower themselves and take control of their health and futures.

    Reclaim your unstable joints !
Just finished listening to Dr. Tyna's show on orthopedic medicine and I feel empowered to change my knee pain around. Dr. Tyna described my visit (and I assume many others)to an orthopedic dr. three years ago . The dr . berated me told me that I was lucky to get 4 years out of my knee . The irony is that I never had even a twinge of pain in my knee until days before ! Dr . Tyna explains how metabolic changes can cause changes in the joints . Very true- I was over eating and stressed ! I trust Dr. Tyna and have been following her throughout the pandemic . She has so much experience. I highly recommend her podcasts !

    I can’t listen anymore!
I have followed Dr. Tina for a long time and have a lot of respect for her insights and knowledge. That said, her astounding bitterness and resentment over having “not been listened to” by the mainstream colors everything she says and does. She shows up with a terribly bitter presence and it just feels toxic. We get it, like all profits you were persecuted and now get to say I told you so. Make peace and move on so you can keep doing good in the world and show others what humility looks like. I’ve had to unfollow this podcast and all other platforms because the negativity is just not helpful and it undermines her knowledge imo.

    Excellent, no-nonsense content
I’ve always said that most people need tough love and hard truths to understand the importance of health. Look at the collective health of our society, something is very wrong. For example, instead of glamorizing diabetes with commercials showing young people with their fancy devices, they should show someone with a leg amputation. Dr. Tyna’s approach to health content is spot on and is now my favorite podcast. Thank you Dr. Tyna!

    Practical, timely and effective
I have listened to Dr Tyna for a few months and I find her advice to be very helpful and right on in this complicated world. More is not always better and I urge listeners to focus on her points as they really work. Please remember to crawl , walk and run in that order. I really appreciate it it that she has been through it herself!!!

    Love it!
I love Dr. Tyna! She knows what she’s talking about people. Loved the recent episode with nutrisense on seed oils and hormones.

    Educational & empowering!
Dr Tyna’s podcast is an excellent resource! Her approach is no nonsense and non fear based. Dr Tyna shares her personal and clinical knowledge along with lots of actionable steps to improve your health. She has some interesting podcast guests too. I found the latest podcast Carlee Hayes of Nutrisense quite fascinating. Loved learning abt the nuances and importance of personal metabolic health and how it relates to our hormones.

    A must listen!
One of my favorite shows for honest and straight to your face health and wellness. The latest episode on the CGM has me adding it to my cart!

    What would add Tyna do?
Whenever I’m trying to make a decision about my health I ask myself, what would Dr Tyna do. She’s a wealth of knowledge. I love her no nonsense approach to health. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Dr. Tyna is such a wealth of knowledge. I’m so grateful I ran into her podcast and her on social media!

    Wow!!!
So much information whenever I listen to Dr. Tyna! The way I view many foods, exercise, and health in general has changed so much since following her podcast. And now the information about seed oils is blowing my mind! Time to clean up my oil game!

    My favorite podcast!!
So refreshing to hear someone who shares such great and diverse info about everything that affects our health! What Dr. Tyna says and teaches just resonates with me inside, I can’t explain it! And she’s also funny and in my head we are besties 😂. she speaks the truth that is hard to hear sometimes, when it’s new info for you, but hearing these truths are absolutely necessary for improvement and longevity. I highly suggest listening to all her episodes and watching / reading her social media content- very unique approach and not pretending there are always universal quick fixes. I can’t wait to buy this new workout subscription as gifts for my parents who have no muscle left after chronic conditions! And I’ve been working on my pull ups, Dr Tyna! Going to get to unassisted in a month or two tops! ❤️much love!!! Thank you for everything !

    Natural Health longevity
Hey Dr. Tyna 👋🏽 I just started listening to your show mid December. I discovered you through high intensity health with Mike Mutzel! What better time than now to learn more about my health, paying attention to my body, and caring for my body in healthy natural ways! I absolutely love your show and have been learning a lot—especially the benefits of strength training, which I’ve been doing more now than ever before. Paying attention to my body and what foods it does or doesn’t like has already made me feel more energetic and confident in who I am. I grew up in an “ingredient household” — make it yourself household—but as I grew older, and met an amazing guy (with his only flaw being that he grew up in a super processed home 😅) I fell into the convenience of it. I started feeling pooped out all day, everyday. However, I’m back on the healthy train, and, thankfully, my boyfriend is joining me. The only con is having to wash more dishes 😂 I love your show and what you’re doing for humanity! Thank you for the amazing advice and tips! Mari

    Dr. Tyna keeps it real!
I love all her podcasts but #77 about seed oils being linked to hormones and metabolic health with Carly Hayes from NutriSense was one of the best. They both broke it way down so anyone can easily understand the realities of what we’re all being faced with on a daily basis. “You want to walk through life in good fighting condition!” Thank you for everything.

    Inspiring!
Dr. Tyna is a wealth of knowledge! I love learning from her via this podcast, but ultimately wish she was my provider. She inspires me to improve my own health.

    Awesome Episode 77
Definitely needed to listen to this episode and will watch how canola oil is made. I stopped using seed oil years ago, I go out occasionally and just like Dr. Tyna I pay for it later. I tell many of my friends to cook and eat at home. Best thing to do! And it saves you lots of money. This was a great listen! Thank you!
  • km_may
Dr. Tyna Show with Carlee Hayees
Loved the info in this show. I thought I was limiting ingredients but Dr. Tuna’s 5 ingredients or less is the next goal! Also watching the canola oil making process Carlee suggested is a must! It’s horrid. I am so glad I stopped using it a long time ago!

Dr Tyna and Carlee Hayes podcast
This is a fantastic episode! I’ve been following Nutrisense for at least 4 years I believe, really since Kara (another Nutrisense Pioneer) was on Dr Paul Saladino’s podcast and I found Dr Tyna on High Intensity Health and so getting to hear these two team up is magic! Thank you for speaking up and out on all the things metabolic health related!

    Tricking my Boyfriend into Health
I absolutely love listening to Dr. Tyna with my boyfriend. I’ve been trying to get him to have healthier habits since we meet but since we started listing to Dr Tyna he’s actually making some changes. After listening to the seed oil episode he threw out my oat milk. 😂

    No Nonsense and Great Info!
Dr. Tyna got me through the pandemic with sensible, data-backed info that made sense during crazy times. She continues to inspire with great guests, relevant solo episodes and practical guidance for how to feel great, build resilience and keep your sense of humor while improving my health every step of the way. Love her new episode that synthesizes science about seed oils and the connection between metabolic health and hormones with Nutrisense dietician Carlee Hayes! Keep it coming Dr. Tyna!
