jafl1999One of my solid podcastsGreat option for a podcast to listen to when you’re looking to learn about other people’s experiences or raise new questions inside you

rich aestheticCharlotte Cowles is du**Why should I listen to this episode and now take advice from a person who got scammed. What she fell for is so stupid and so common sense. She really should be ashamed and stop writing a financial column.

Alec LeamasFive stars if you bring back Brian Stelter✨I listened to two episodes of Brian hosting, and I could not be happier with the podcast. He is a great talent, and you would be lucky to have him. Quite frankly, you can give him his own show, and I will definitely subscribe.

got Marie? So called experts are cluelessThese are your talking heads? Brian Stelter on to talk about what’s real and what’s fake on social media? What a joke. Do better. Fake show.
-
Axlrose81073Liberal garbageHaha what a joke. Left wing talking points over and over complete shills for the political class.
-
Rowzee1973Bias newsWell produced and good stories but very political democrat view points. Republicans are always the antagonist in the stories.

Andante'Apple News Podcast.Apple News Podcast. The WNBA episode was excellent. I’m so happy for everyone involved. It’s about time. Bravo!!!!!! Great discussion. Hit the heart.

JrbohoToo BiasedPlease consider interviewing Conservative voices. There are millions of conservatives in the US, whose viewpoints are definitely not represented by the likes of Rachel Maddow, Tom Hanks and the Dwight Schrute guy. How about interviewing eg. Megyn Kelly? Or James Woods? Or Tucker Carlson? Or Ben Shapiro? Why not?

JC Ooompa Loompataking a breakwhy are the last 3 episodes about sports ?

Hattie445Change the photoI love the show, and the voice of the presenter and all of the content but this photo is not consistent with who she appears to be and what the program is all about. The photo looks smug, I hope you can consider changing it.

Jon WintersApple News In ConversationI must admit I am a fan of Shumits’s calming voice. I absolutely love listening to her in all podcast or news that she hosted. Love to hear more.
-
ThaneKriosMore left-wing talking pointsChampions left-wing extremism and demonizes what is traditional. May the influence of this podcast diminish in the ears of its audience until it seeks to find a genuine balance.

J0W0JTurning towards faithI enjoyed the episodes discussing Rainn Wilson’s book “Soul Boom” and Elizabeth Keating’s book about interviewing family. They reminded me of the importance of turning your heart towards family and the lessons I’ve learned from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Anita - RStop the noiseBegging you on my knees to stop the electronic noise your producers call "the music bed." 1. It's not music, it's electronic jingle jangle. 2. It's not entertaining, it's noise. 3. If your content and delivery alone cannot engage your audience how is the electronic beepy-boop going to help? Just please stop it.

Downward Dog Double 69One sidedProgressive left wing echo chamber.

jenwro27aSystem failureI’m listening to this interesting conversation between two young women, one pregnant and one with a youngster as a 50 year old with teenagers. I’m enjoying it. However, I am really struck by the failure of the United States to support motherhood, and the simple fact that mothers give up their careers and also can’t even get four hours of sleep is frankly disgusting. That’s how little we value mothers. We need to compensate for the horrors of capitalism through leadership.

Happy Pinner!!Episode on Reading Wars is missing infoWhile it’s true that there is, sadly a debate going ok with reading instruction- your article/podcast was so limited and like so many others, missing information. First - do the author take the time to REALLY know what balanced literary is? Part of the balance in balanced literacy IS PHONICS. No one who UNDERSTOOD balanced literacy ever downplayed the role of phonics -that’s part of the balance!!! Next, when you talk about the George Bush NRP- and the “reading first” program you failed to mentioned the data that there was no significant improvement shown by using a phonics approved on reading outcomes. No one likes to mention this fact, that statistically phonics only programs do not equate to a one size fits all, everyone reading program! That is hidden! That’s so irresponsible on the part of the reporter! As we consider brain research, we can learn how to shift the balance and make sure our methodologies include strong phonics foundations especially at the earliest levels .but we don’t discount the other pillars needed. This issue is so so much more complex than blaming the amount of reading problems on curriculum.

JBReillyVery Enjoyable plus informativeShumita is a terrific interviewer. Smart, gentle and insightful.

ChamfhfjdjfjfBlandLove listening to Anderson. His podcast was great. This interviewer was bland and I wasn’t interested in her stories about herself.
-
martikleverThe Ten Gifts Of GriefLove this podcast with Anderson. It speaks to my own experience after losing the love of my life - my husband, cutting-edge sculptor, poet and game inventor, James Klever. It’s called The Ten Gifts Of Grief (under my pen name, Hawthorne Wood) (Amzon).

Hopeful, but pragmaticGreat PodcastThat was a great podcast, but is anyone listening? Some of us have been thinking about and working on climate change for decades, but what’s it going to take to get critical masses to stop, listen and act? Are we literally the boiling frog or can we wake up in time? Podcasts like this are really important, but is it enough? Is it a broad enough audience? Kudos to the producer and please, give us more and make it as relatable for the masses as possible so we can overcome the polarization of the culture wars.

HajimirAlways very interesting topicsShumita is amazing!

Ricky TenderkissGreat weekly interviewsThis podcast has really found its stride. It straddles a position between reporting on pop culture and covering great investigative journalism. I must admit I’m not interested in sports at all, and roughly half its pop culture coverage I just kinda skim. But the investigative reporting — particularly its recent pieces, on the U.S. government’s over-reliance on classifying documents, or on the injustices within the U.S.A.’s court system — have been essential listening! I highly recommend subscribing, then picking and choosing which interviews interest you most!!
-
ngorby44Great Series!I’d love to see this show have more of a social presence on either Mastodon, Twitter or even Instagram. Being able to interact with the show outside of just listening would be really fun!
-
AlienDevVariety and in DepthEvery episode is very well done and in depth. There is no theme or pattern to what the next episode might be about, your just going to get some topic, you think you might not care about, and learn so much about it that you will think you’ve been following the story for weeks.
-
SinginTigersLearning muchI have learned a great deal from listening to In Conversation. Thanks for your work!

SB2jeepgirlSpotlight and NewsI get newsletters daily from 2 other major outlets but end up listening here too. As comforting and insightful as Morning Edition but short and sweet. A welcoming place.

mroatmanOne of the best new podcastsThis is one of the most insightful and provocative new podcasts I’ve heard in a long time. The host is truly phenomenal. I guess with Apple’s unlimited resources, they were able to identify the best of the best. But her guests are also expertly chosen and always discuss something I find interesting or personally relevant. Highly recommended to give it a try.
-
dakotacan5 stars!Really enjoy the topics they decide to talk about
-
willsteigFantastic weekly show! This show is so wonderful, it covers a broad array of topics in such an approachable way. I hope more podcasts come from Apple News too!
-
eDeniskaGreat podcast about everythingIf you like podcasts “about life, universe and everything” - this might be the perfect fit. Reasonable duration, interesting guests. And very great host. Really great addition to the collection. Topics are influenced by current news, but still general enough to be listened anytime.
-
DonnieG3Always insightful and engagingThis show tackles big and small issues with open and objective eyes. Always thought provoking, encouraging us to be our best selves and shine light on issues to make the world a better place.

ThisIsWhereItEndsAbout Fox News trialThis trial will be a precedent for free speech and AI, ChatGPT. If every spoken word is protected by free speech, what’s to do when ChatGPT creates statements that are shared? We’ve only just started down the road on AI. AI uses what it’s learned to make conversation. A right wing Chat might only be exposed to their ideology. Are words promoted by this AI also covered by free speech? It is difficult to parse whether conversations are created by AI or human - it will be difficult to prosecute if the point is having to prove that it was not human created words.
