    Amazing episode!
I listen to a lot of podcasts, but this was probably one of the most memorable I’ve ever heard, it brought me to tears and made my heart sing! Great work Sarah and team!

    Excellent Christian Journalism
Thank you, Sarah, for investigating interesting and timely topics. I especially enjoyed learning more about CityAlight’s humble and yet global ministry to the local church.

    Youth sports
Interesting episode but I think it misses the main point. The burnout doesn’t come from playing club or going to tournaments or even being busy playing. It comes when parents forget that the main point of sports is that playing should be fun instead of parents putting too much pressure on kids. Both my kids played college sports but our focus was always “work hard and have fun” only. There are clues: do they love practice? do they celebrate the team over themselves? do they go out and play their sports on their own?

    Excellent!
I just finished listening (for the second time) to Gaming Alone. Wow! Thank you Sarah! As a “Grammy” to 6 boys and as a public school employee I can verify every symptom you addressed. It’s all very painfully true. But you offered hope for reform and reflection to stop and examine what is happening and what we can do to try to turn around the lives of our young men. Thank you a million times!

    Fantastic Media for Christians
This podcast is such quality content for Christians. It’s the “This American Life” for believers. Sarah Zylstra is a phenomenal host, and the stories are gripping and God-glorifying. I just wish there were more consistent episodes!

    Great story and inspiring
This weaves a great story. It’s well done and it left my heart encouraged even though it was covering a very tough topic that I almost want to ignore.

    Good content but….
I am looking forward to some long form story telling from TGC. The 911 story from the perspective of the church makes a great story. The issue I had was the interviews. The microphone quality was low or sensitive and you can here background noise. You also here reporter making agreement and sympathy sounds and speaking over those she is interviewing. I would prefer for the reporter to fade out so all I here is the subject until a question is asked. The agree ands sympathy sounds were a little much.

The church needs more stories of hope like this
This short mini-series is so hopeful and encouraging. It’s amazing to see how the Lord has been at work in peoples lives and in the life of the church over the past 20 years after such a terrible tragedy. Sarah is an great storyteller who consistently tells great stories about people and places where the gospel is impacting the world. My soul needs more of that. Also, the production quality of this show is also top notch. Great work TGC. Can’t wait for the next mini-series.
