Hey all wonderful pod, glad to hear your voices again again after Serie-a-wesome. Always thoughtful and entertaining takes on the season. It would be very convenient if we could subscribe through the Apple podcast app!

Whenever Nicky would discuss Serie A on other pods I could tell I was missing out on a league that is so rich with story. I started following the league more. Then when I searched for a pod, fortuna would have it, such a pod existed.

Found the show a couple of months ago. It's sometimes hard to find in-depth Serie A content here in the states. I appreciate the insight they provide although at time it feels like the Inter-Juve show though they do run down the entire league. Really do enjoy it and look forward to new episodes when they drop.

Nicky is perhaps my favorite football journalist….understands the game, and the surrounding drama, so well. So I was excited to see this podcast. Two episodes in, and I’m not disappointed- this is great! Looking forward to each new episode! Update in 2024: the addition of Patrick has made a great podcast even better!

Really enjoyable comparisons of top Seri A squads and overall Seri A to other top leagues! Also great to hear women enthusiastic about their football!.. in response to another review, there’s never enough Juve content, fuerza Juve!

As many listeners, I grew up watching Serie A but the habit stopped at some point. I wanted to get back to it this season, and this podcast has been the perfect companion to do this. Mina and Nicky are knowledgeable, entertaining, and have great chemistry. The conversation flows well and the time spent listening to the podcast definitely enhances the football watching experience. I think that’s the best a football podcast can hope for. 5 stars!

Mina and Nicky provide a lively, fair and balanced review of Serie A and everything Italian Calcio. Probably one of the best targeted coverage of Serie A and Italian teams performing across Europe.

…Maybe a bit too much Juve content. I’d prefer broader coverage. For English language podcasts it’s as good as there are out there though.

Love them both! I grew up in the 1980s watching RAI leased time programming on Sunday mornings. It was tough getting a match back then and I couldn’t wait for post-match coverage, The 90th Minute. These ladies are giving me the coverage I yearned for as a teenager. I’ll always listen and even replay the shows.

First, the information and game wrap up is reasonably good. There are several negatives however. One of the podcasters has a horrible voice. It’s scratchy and she yells often to make a point when the logic is weak. It’s not a deal breaker but it’s not pleasant considering the earbuds. The main problem is that a large amount of the information and the large amount of game wrap ups is limited to either Juventus and Milan or just Juventus. I listened to this podcast for a month and a half to try it out and nearly every minute that wasn’t dedicated to games or listener questions was dedicated to Juventus. I love Serie A, there are many teams that I consider watchable, and that I would like to hear more about but even the title holders get minimum play time. It’s a shame. There is another podcaster, but while she has at least started conversations about other topics, she isn’t strong enough to stop the other from just taking over conversations back to Juventus. There isn’t a balance in topic, and there isn’t balance between the podcasters. I am writing this as the transfer wrap up is supposed to be playing on this podcast, but I have just heard a soliloquy on each player on Juventus. I will be cancelling subscription to this podcast, but I wish this wasn’t a wasted opportunity for English language Serie A. Just change the title and it’ll be fine.

These 2 ladies are brilliant and speak intelligently about Calcio. I became a fan after listening to 1 episode. Keep up the great work.

Not much more to say! Really appreciate that Mina and Nicky are doing this pod and sharing their wonderful insights with us. I love their dynamic and they really are the best people covering Serie A in English. Thank you for what you do.

For me Golazzo is irreplaceable, but for more up-to-date stuff on Serie A, this is the go-to pod. A big fan of Nicky’s work for a long time, and happy to discover a fellow juve fan in Mina. Good job guys.

Mina and Nicki are my go to knowledge for Serie A and all things associated with Italian calcio! Love having guests from time to time incorporated into the pod. I wish you can have Gab Marcotti appear on the pod on a semi-regular basis since having the whole trio is so nostalgic. Keep up the awesome work! Forza Napoli!

The worst part of Paramount getting Serie A rights was the loss of the Serie Awesome podcast. This show has righted that wrong, and while we miss Gab, we love to see the Mina and Nicky at it again! Especially without anyone telling them ‘what is interesting about calcio.

I followed Nicky over from Football Weekly to up my Serie A fix and I’m glad I did! Nicky and Mina know the game and history so well and are a joy to listen to. I’m not able to watch the matches much these days so this podcast really helps me stay engaged with the calcio that I love so much. I especially love that I feel like I know the league better after listening, not just Juve, the Milan teams, and Mourinho (although to be honest, I can’t get enough Mourinho). Very grateful for you both, Mina and Nicky! Thank you and forza Palermo!!

Nicky and Mina are so well versed and knowledgeable while also down to earth and funny. Such a pleasure listening to a fantastic duo, a must follow/subscribe :)

One of the best serie A pods out there, good analysis and well explained opinions. Also enjoy the short stories of players you both share from time to time.

I love this show. It’s packed with fun and varied analysis. Nicky and Mina spend equal amounts of time picking apart Juve as they do discussing how Sassuolo might be better without Dizerbi. There’s chat about Napoli being Napoli and the joy of Venezia. And of course Mou.

The passion is back! There is justice now that Nicky and Mina have their own show. If you know them from ESPN Serie Awesome pod, u know how good they are. If not, these are two of the most knowledgeable and passionate Serie A analysts. Get your calcio fix here!

I hadn’t paid much attention to Serie A before, but any podcast starring Nicky & Mina will be great. And it is great! And now I’m into Serie A :D (also would love more nostalgia/history, as the first episode asked for suggestions!). So glad y’all are together again and can hopefully enjoy some gelato together soon!
