As an architect, I love all things design and decor & this podcast hits all those notes for me! I loved the episode with Hilary Roberts and her conversation with Laurie about lighting, travel, and her favorite trends!

I have been searching for a soothing, non-newsy and panic-y podcast and this is it. I’m such a design geek and I’ve been eagerly checking out the star studded cast that Laurie has assembled each episode. I especially loved the Nicole Gibbons episode — it’s going to inspire me to paint my bedroom right now. And can we talk about the host for a second? What a voice!

Not only is this podcast interesting and fun to listen to, but it helped me tap into my creativity in regards to my own space (which made a huge difference while working/living from home)!

I really enjoyed listening to this podcast! Nina was so engaging and so interesting and the questions that Laurie asked of her were so thoughtful. I loved how she spoke of how different NY and CA are and how she loved peeking into people’s homes at dusk….one of my favorite pastimes. I can’t wait to hear more!

Being Home With Hunker has great interviews with interesting people about all things related to being home. The Thanksgiving podcast featured ways to help those without adequate housing and efforts by “The Black Fairy Godmother,” aka Simone Gordon, to meet the needs of these families. The other podcasts I’ve listened to include a diverse population involved in all aspects of creating and celebrating home. The episodes are less than 30 minutes, the pace is fast, the format is conversational, the program is very well done … Check it out!

I love listening to this podcast because every episode has a different thoughtful and creative designer. It is a pleasant break from the monotony of ‘sameness’ in the social media world. This show is full of unique and high quality designers that always make me think more deeply about my own space. You can tell from the way they speak, without even seeing the spaces they design (though I always follow up by looking at their work) that they are good at their crafts, and have interesting stories as well!

Fun to listen to on a walk

I had no idea this was a concept. I'm used to going to a paint store (or a big box store) and picked up samples. However, what if I miss calculate how much paint I needed?

Came crossed this accidentally while trying to fix a busted pipe under kitchen sink. Really enjoyed this podcast and how she has her Grandmothers China and the history attached to it and using it to decorate a home - really makes a space uniquely ours

This podcast has a lot going on- with fun and inspiring interviews with likable artists, designers, authors, and more. With a pandemic raging, this has been especially relevant as so many have been spending far more time at home than ever. This is the case for me, as well. We recently bought a home, and with so many projects and unpacking to do, it still doesn’t quite feel like “home” yet. This podcast helped me change my perspective a bit about what home means to me. The interviews are more like casual chats with friends, which makes them fun to listen to. As an entrepreneur, I have really enjoyed the business aspects of it, too. It’s like a combination of some of my favorite things- art, business, design, personal development & home. Looking forward to more episodes!
