Edenz momFinally some unpopular opinions given with grace!!I love that she isn’t afraid to talk about some polarizing topics, and gives her honest opinions. People need to stop being so sensitive, if you don’t like the content then don’t watch it!! 🥳

CG 36YuckPlease just stop with your political rants. You were mid to begin with and now you have dropped your less than awful

Your maine conciergeGreat show!If you love reality shows, discussions on diet culture and food, you’ll love this podcast!

jal8167Who cares???Why would I care what some random person (the host) ate today or whether she exercised? Save it for your diary or post it on facebook, hon! Also, your comments about other people are very mean-spirited. I gave this podcast a try, but it's just as toxic as the diet culture I thought you'd be exposing, and I would not recommend this to anyone, esp. anyone trying to heal their relationship with their bodies and food.

Leah7189It’s midWhen she goes over podcasts she just says exactly what they say. Without adding her opinion/discussing it further it’s dubious if it can even be considered fair use. Also clearly a person with issues and questionable if she would posit diet culture at a lighthouse for other women to seek out. Final comment: she could be sponsored by big Botox. Botox, Botox, Botox.

giraffe attack 373sweet hostthis isn’t ripping off maintenance phase and it’s nothing like that podcast! the host talks a lot about her life and if that’s not for you, that’s fine! but i think she’s kind and offers an interesting middle perspective where she is honest about the health consequences of unhealthy eating while also calling out the more toxic aspects of diet culture! good show!

CouchingTigerA journal podcast?I haven’t heard something like this show before, in the sense that it also functions as a journal, or diary, for the host. It was honestly interesting in that sense, and I think she should lean in more in branding the show as a journal-type show. On the other hand, the host and I are very different people. She is comfortable assuming certain studies are funded by corporations (not checking, just kind of theorizing), but on the other hand is very open to anecdotal evidence. Not for me, and that’s okay.

vanessa1621No focusUnfortunately this is an example of a podcast without a clear premise. I got bored very quickly. I wanted to give it a chance before I mentioned the obvious ripping of the Maintenance Phase logo. It seems as if deliberate choices were made to position itself as a “response” to Maintenance Phase. When. You have the whole of graphics to choose from and choose one that has deliberate similarities to ANOTHER podcast about food, and your content aligns yourself with a philosophy that is counter to that other podcast, it feels very deliberate.

FLL VisitorYou can find betterI rarely review shows, but this host needs the feedback. The droning on and on about mundane topics at the beginning is painful. Unfortunately, there are so many shows in this space to compare it to that this program falls short. She doesn’t have to be as rigid and numbers-based as maintenance phase but it’s not clear what the unique POV is here? Maybe that the point of the audio blog about her life in the beginning?

JRuntzHoping to scam listeners looking for a far superior podcastAvoid like the plague
-
YouloveradhaI like herThis girl is a foodie who is into discussing fitness, nutrition, diet and body positivity. She is not trying to be Maintenance Phase. If you want left of left progressive preaching that is also somewhat entertaining, then go there. If you want to hear a person chatting about the nuances of a life full of delicious food and all of the challenges that go along with that, stay here.

JwedvickDo Not Be FooledThis is not Maintenance Phase.
-
H4z3L3y35Too much about her daily routine4 minutes into the Feb 23rd ep, and it’s a string of all the tasks she has to do and why she’s not smoking marijuana… um?
-
Marie8724Host has a lot of issues to address but the audience doesn’t need to be here for itThis reads as a sad attempt to scam listeners into hating themselves as much as the host hates herself, I’d give it 0 stars if possible.

do😘moNo Thank You.From what I can tell, the host starts the episodes by whining about her personal life and how busy she is, then describes other podcasts/ shows/celebrity gossip in mind-numbing detail with intermittent commentary on her own eating habits, self-reflection/congratulation, and uninteresting opinions.
-
ceejaeceejaeOne star for the effortThe marketing strategy is to mimic the Maintenance Phase logo. Sure, seems like that’s working for you.
-
ahnncttwutThe logo is a clear ripoff of Maintenance Phase 🤔
-
HmalamalaWay to copy Maintenance Phase’s logoOr, I guess you would say you were “inspired by it. Lame.
-
Wndrwmn_23RipoffLike someone else stated, from the logo to the premise, this looks like a ripoff of the Maintenance Phase podcast I enjoy. When I searched that podcast on here it was interesting that this one was even in the first search results.
-
AnnaNeuNotI appreciate the premise, but expected more of a critical lens towards the topics, execution, and conclusions drawn by other podcasts in the health/wellness/diet culture genre. I listened to two episodes and both were more of a play-by-play critique of a solitary podcast episode.

haleyajFav Diet Pod EverI cannot tell you how much I love this podcast! Veronica manages to be super real and conversational, but also incredibly well spoken and confident in her opinions. Absolutely love how detailed she is when describing foods (I, too, love the details). I so appreciate her balanced approach to diet culture, indulging in fried deliciousness, and taking personal responsibility when it comes to fitness + choosing mostly whole foods . Def give it a listen!🥑🧘🏻♀️💗🍸🧁

aspiring healthy eaterGreat information delivered by an engaging hostHaving a busy life I enjoy this site because it shares a variety of information from other podcasts that I don’t have to follow. The host is refreshingly open and honest about her food travails.
