Great podcast.

Listening to the stories of Jake being a roommate of hawk of LoD and dating missy Hyatt to teaching warrior the darkside and fued with macho man. The stories behind what we grew up with as kids is just awesome.

I love some of the other podcasts but tired of hearing the same stories. You can guess what certain hosts will say. Jake brings some new stories and love the change of perspective.

Jake tells some good stories but you can tell he’s bitter about people that did better than him. He said neither Shawn, Michaels or Bret Hart were any good. That’s just stupid and bitter. I have very little respect for Jake.

Conrad bailed. He clearly never cared about this podcast.

I’m 50 years old. Jake has been my favorite wrestler of all time my whole life. Thanks for the memories.

Jake and DDP are great but another bait and switch by Conrad as he bailed as the host.

No Conrad equals channel changer jones for me. The other hosts just don’t have it.

I totally get these guys have to make money but the podcast starts with a long string of ads and it's not uncommon to go 5-10 minutes before more minutes of ads. Jake was my fav growing up and I love DDP for his motivational topic and they have a great mix of topics from the past and the present. It can be hard to hear Jake, hard to follow, and the content as good as it is isn't worth sitting thru that many ads. The Mount Rushmore episode was the best of all the ones I listened to but even with the content improvements in that episode, I can't justify listening to this. Charge your advertisers more for shorter ads so you can have less ads. I'm going to listen to some wrestling fan podcasts instead.

Nothing but respect for DDP! Your willingness to help others has been very inspiring to me. Love what you bring to the show but you gotta let Jake talk man!

I love the story modes but the Eddy Guerrero episode was just disturbing. I am 95% sure hear DDP making love to some food when Jake was talking about meeting Eddie

I love hearing this podcast! It’s so awesome to hear my childhood hero’s voice. I grew up watching DDP on WCW. It’s so cool to know that he got his start all because of Jake “The Snake” Roberts. I also like hearing their stories about how the wrestling business used to be. I miss the mystery of the wrestling business, back when we all didn’t know it was a “work.”

I learn something every time I listen to these great dudes… put the work in… work the gimmick, pay it forward… Ty guys keep up the positive motivation talk because it is working for me. An old grumpy army vet.

Great show, good to hear good friends get together. One suggestion, maybe turn Jakes mic up just a hair sometimes it’s hard to hear him. Keep up the great work Conrad!

Love Jake, Dally, and Conrad and I think Dallas and Jake are great, and I don’t want to put a downer on this pod but I’m with the majority of folks that are sick of the ads, I understand, ad free shows but this is way too much, it makes it unlistenable at times, I could live with all of it but I was put off with all the ads on the scott hall episode, I understand you have commitments to ad companies but maybe you should have made an ad free bonus episode for Scott just in my opinion, regardless that episode is great and the pod is too, it’s just he constant ads that kills the enjoyment.

Would gladly pay for an ad free subscription. There are seriously 3 min ads breaks every 5-10 min. Too much!

Jake and DDP give the most positive outlook on life. Tremendous storytelling. The only minor suggestion I would make and I understand why Conrad doesn’t do it on his shows, but maybe put a notation in the description when the Heels discussion is over, that way if we haven’t caught up on the show, it’s not spoiled. Keep up the great work and thanks for the entertainment

This show is simply awesome. The first 3,4 episodes went off track a bit by going off topic with DDP talking all the time and Jake not saying much. Conman lost control. But the last 3 episodes have been a joy. Connie needs to keep up the momentum with Jake and DDP

Jake provides such a real emotional connection between life and career as a 2nd generation wrestler. We need more episodes like Jakes Start!

Gotta tell ya, this is my favorite podcast right now. Episode 5 had me laughing out loud here at work because of Jake. Dude, you need a sitcom or something…too funny! Keep doing what you guys are doing!

I am a big fan of 83 Weeks, Grilling JR, and What Happened When. Conrad has a ton of good podcasts and content out there, but DDP Snake Pit feels different. Not only for having two hosts in Jake and DDP, but in its messaging. In addition to great stories from the road and behind the scenes Jake, Dallas, and Conrad offer real, raw stories of demons and overcoming them. This is not just an advertisement for DDPY, this is a funny, inspirational, and informative listen that any wrestling fan will love, but so will anyone who is struggling with their own demons. Thank you Jake, DDP and Conrad for creating this Podcast and for all that you do!

Conrad guides the talents when they need. Dallas and Snake have a chemistry to them and passionate well spoken.

It just gets old hearing Conrad on almost every wrestling podcast out there. He’s so overexposed.

Jake the Snake and DPP are heroes and both are true inspirations. I love hearing great stories from the past. I also very much enjoy the inspirational messages within each podcast. If you think you can or you can't, you're right. So get to it! I hope this podcast runs for many more years! Jake, hope to see you back on AEW tv soon!

I love that Jake and Dallas are sharing their inspiring, powerful stories in this podcast. They are very open, honest and raw and it's very engaging. They talk about their personal and professional lives. This is a mix of WCW and WWF stories and conversations about personal growth and perseverance. My husband has been in recovery for almost 8 years, so I am connected to that community of people and they are some of the bravest, strongest people you'll ever meet! I love when people in recovery share their stories and Jake's is pretty incredible. To me, this podcast is just fun and uplifting and super interesting. A must for wrestling fans!

Wonderful fun and great history. Jake and DDP have such a great friendship you can see and hear it in this podcast. Would encourage anyone who loves wrestling to take a listen. Jake’s story is so encouraging, if you know someone struggling with addiction, they may take inspiration to make changes. Enjoy!

Here we have two of the greatest to ever do it, their bond and friendship alone being an inspiration to the masses! I cannot tell you how excited I am to see where this podcast goes. Jake’s story of recovery is among the most inspirational stories I have ever heard/watched. If you haven’t watched the documentary, do it. Additionally, as a lifelong wrestling fan, it is truly heart warming to see a childhood hero get his life back. You never know what someone is dealing with on the other side of the screen. As far as DDP goes, he’s a superhero in the flesh. This guy was one of my favorite wrestlers growing up and now is one of my favorite humans. From the documentaries, to the books, to DDPY, and now to this podcast…DDP is helping, inspiring, and motivating people to be and do things they never thought possible. This world is a better place with him in it and consuming as much of his over the top, infectious, and sometimes ridiculous positivity as you possibly can will do you good. I promise! If you are going to give anyone an hour of your time, give it to DDP. You’ll be happy you did! Just in case you actually read this, DDP, thank you!

Yet another just listen pro wrestling podcast! DDP and Jake are entertaining to listen to and Conrad crushes the hosting duties as always.

I’m already hooked after the first episode. Jake and Dallas are great storytellers and with Conrad to lead the discussion, this is a must listen podcast for any pro wrestling fan. This is unlike any interview you’ve heard with either Jake or Dallas. Its more like hearing two friends talk shop who’ve worked together for decades. Don’t miss it.
