I definitely didn’t think I needed another video game podcast in my life, but Gamers Week has quickly turned into my most anticipated listen of the week. The show started off incredibly polished and only gets more fun with each passing week. Aside from the fantastic banter, I can’t get over how much gaming history I learn about every episode thanks to some of the best interviews around, Professor Ryebread, and magazine time traveling with Donnie. Now if Blue could just stop slandering Final Fantasy XV’s Cup Noodle Quest, I would find a way to give it 6 stars.

I saw this podcast in tiktok, and honestly it’s pretty awesome. I can get a summarization of the gaming industry with weekly updates without having to dig through articles. Hosts are funny and enjoyable.

One of the best gaming news and update podcasts around, the three hosts Ryan, Blue, and Donnie strike a creative balance between news, humor, and some jokes for both retro and modern gamers alike. Even my game loving kids enjoy listening to this show every week and discussing the topics together on our commutes. Looking forward to a long run of this show!

Video game news shows are a dime a dozen these days. So why do I recommend Gamers Week? Because it's a refreshing and lively take on the standard good bro chuckle fests that plauge the genre. Blue, Donnie, and Rye Bread have a natural chemistry and warm nature that make the pod feel like YOUR show as opposed to just A show. While they're not afraid of disagreeing against popular opinion, gamer culture, or corporate greed. they do so with humor and tact. One of my weekly listens and I truly hope you'll give them a go as well.
