I’m currently in film school and am working a manual labor job I absolutely hate. My life pretty much revolves around horror movies and it’s nice to have you guys to keep me company while I spend hours lifting boxes in trailers. Regardless, your pod is also objectively great. You guys both offer different but valid perspectives. Zack is normally tapped into the logical side of things, and Eddie is on the emotional. The dichotomy is perfect and if you’re looking for a horror podcast. You really can’t do any better than the cherry picker.

Hello Zack and Eddie! I stumbled upon your podcast back in the fall, and have enjoyed following along as you engage in friendly banter about your favorite horror movies. I have especially enjoyed your conversations on the Scream, Friday the 13th, and Halloween franchises. I have even found myself falling asleep at night to some of my favorite “hammock” episodes. I am SO looking forward to the day when you cover Halloween 4 and 5, as they are two of my favorite (dare I say at the top of my franchise film list—maybe even equal to the original)! Zack, I know you can relate on some level! These two films were the ones that introduced me to the Halloween franchise, and I have warm, fuzzy, nostalgic memories (no judgement) of viewing these films at middle school slumber parties. How fun it would be to be a part of those conversations!! Keep up the good work! 😁

I love the YouTube channel that Zach runs and when he mentioned his podcast I was excited to check it out, as always Zach brings quality content and fresh insight to the horror movies I love. However, I absolutely cannot stand his cohost Edward. Continually cutting off the host of the show and running long with takes that I personally am not interested in. He also laughs at his own jokes as hard as possible into the microphone making listening with headphones quite a chore.

I first stumbled onto Zack’s channel about the Scream franchise, then later saw he had this channel with Eddie of edwardistruth (one word). They have a great chemistry when discussing films and entertainment. I love that they like to kill people (but not really! Teehee). I’m always happy to listen or watch them discuss the topic on hand. It’s like listening to 2 good friends, and I’m a third silent friend laughing and learning. I highly recommend!

A heartening take on horror that leaves you feeling like you just sat with old friends. Truly refreshing to see not only so much hard work, and an ever increase in quality, but two real guys with great senses of humor spend upwards of three hours making quips about movies and television that bond so many of us together. Absolutely worth a listen. In a sea of generic opinions listen to these guys talk like friends. Funny, enjoyable and honest, 10/10 Zack and Eddie should be proud of the work they have done, the love really shows.

Zack has an clever, perfectly and precisely executed YouTube channel. The Cherry Picker is a success because the approach here is different: it’s much less scripted and more casual, yet remains in the Cherry brand. Eddie is a nice foil to Zack, and they have a great banter & contrast. The show has grown so well over time. Very proud to support the show and to share Tuesday Horror with Cherry Picker.

This is the perfect podcast for all things horror. The two hosts, Zack and Edward, have wonderful chemistry and banter. Their knowledge of horror films and the behind the scenes trivia makes this podcast stand out from the others.

‘The Cherry Picker’ is one of those rare podcasts that you don’t see much of anymore. One that feels like it’s just two buddies talking about a movie that one or both LOVED, HATED or mildly enjoyed (with notes of constructive feedback for all filmmakers to make use of). That is where all fans of film can rejoice as they discuss the elements of story, direction and tone that make the films we see pack a punch or wither away as an after thought. The two hosts, Zach Cherry and Eddie of @edwardistruth, create an atmosphere that is completely entrancing. They deliver an array of personality; with Cherry’s direct and analytical delivery, paired with Eddie’s more excited and whimsical cadence, making each episode as enjoyable as the one before it. Chemistry is the most important aspect to what makes a good podcast and ‘The Cherry Picker’ gets an A+. It is able to find a perfectly stabilized tone, establishing a laid back and entertaining listen. MUST LISTEN FOR ALL LOVERS of FILM (but most importantly us Horror fans)

I love listening to the podcast on my way to work, Zack and Ed chemistry keeps my entertained and I like how Zack brakes rule #3 by saying he’ll be right.

This is a fun podcast that I learned about through the Zach Cherry YouTube channel, which is also great if you love rankings, lists and other unique horror related content. It’s the right mix between lighthearted humor and critical review. The cherry picker concept is also really great and I look forward to hearing it at the end of the show. Best of luck to these guys!
