123EstebanConflicting DiscussionThe guests are clearly pushing a vegetarian diet. They are reluctantly suggesting that “some limited meat” is ok. I listened to the full episode but I’m not sure I’ll continue to listen to Zoe.

Austin the catPodcast sells non functioning productThe whole purpose of this podcast is to sell you their product and subscription. When you buy it, as I did, you will get no support, never be able to communicate with a human, and if you have any questions or if their tech does not work, you have literally wasted your money.

ChezJonIs This Service A Scam?I subscribed to this service as part of the Black Friday sale back in November. Although they have taken my credit card they have not delivered any of the tests or access to their app. Plus I have sent numerous messages to their support desk asking about the status and I have not received any response other than from a bot. I am greatly disappointed by this level of customer service especially from a company that says that they are providing top level medical advice.

PlantsneedsunTrans visibilityLovely, scientific conversations! Listening to vagina micro biome- switching women who are pregnant to people who are pregnant, a girls first period to an adolescents first period, a women’s vagina to a persons vagina -Gender is not inherent and is, in fact spectate than sex.- I think this language awareness can help with accessibility and inclusivity 🙏🏼🌱🫶🏼✨

vivasoberBest health podcasts I’ve ever heard. No matter what the topic is, this podcast brings in experts, science, and information that can be understood by pretty much anyone. It’s real, it’s authentic, it’s practical, and it’s about taking charge of your own health. Thank you, Zoe for everything you offer!

Schism206Extremely well produced and informative nutrition podcast. This is an excellent nutrition podcast to listen to on a variety of topics. The re-occurring guests are all good in their own right, and the vast majority of the guests give quality interviews. The podcast is extremely well produced. Ads are somewhat frequent but very brief and transition well, so they are not nearly as invasive as most other podcasts of even a lesser calibre. The host is very good at keeping the conversation moving, prompting guests to break things down for the lay person when it comes to complex or fancy sounding medical terminology, and recapping episodes, etc. I'd just say keep an open mind and don't take everything as gospel. Some guests are a bit alarmist about certain topics and I think sometimes offer solutions that appear to me a bit extreme or unreasonable to the average person. I think the host does a good job at identifying this, so even if it occurs, it's not as though it's a huge problem or something. I'd recommend listening to a wide variety of opinions on any given topic that seems mysterious, confusing, or perhaps even anxiety-inducing. But overall, I think Zoe does a great job of balancing out concerns over many things that either more main-stream sources or the alternative medicine side go to extremes on, either in terms of rejecting or accepting something without much qualification or nuance. I would add that I tend to find most guests and associates demonize meat more than I think is necessary. I'm not an expert, but I've listened to a number of voices on the issue and have had my own experiences with both sides of the whole vegan/carnivore battles on the interwebs and how they've effected both my own health and people I care about. In short, I find the middle ground to be more reasonable. Moreover, the Zoe folks tend to lean more towards green agendas that find to be suspect in a number of ways, so I cannot help but wonder if that biases their take on certain studies or data. You may or may not share my concerns on this, so take of that what you will. I know how easy it is to omit this or that to bolster one's own position without the audience knowing that a bias is occurring, but there's a reasonable way to do this that is understandable and, to some extent, is expected; there are always ways to do this that border on deception. Obviously, I think Zoe falls in the the former rather than the latter category. You may not feel the same as I do about some of these topics, but if you are of a similar mind and have similar concerns, I would just say just take those sections on pushing vegetarianism coupled with environmentalism with a grain of salt and absorb what makes sense to you. I also appreciate that they understand what they offer and are advertising in each segment is not for everyone, either because of time committment, financial resources, or both. I fall under both categories so I'm likely not signing up for any Zoe programs anytime soon, but I sincerely appreciate the information they put out there for free, and delivering it in a high quality way. So bravo to them for that and I recommend the podcast for anyone interested in trying to imrove their health. Last but not least, conversation is pleasant and the language is very PG. Obviously, if a topic centers around certain aspects of sexuality, it may or may not be appropriate for certain ages, but I can't see listening to this being a problem in most cases with kids around. So give it a try and see what happens!

WhynterrFantastic podcast and best podcast hostJonathan Wolf is the best podcast presenter I’ve listened to and I never miss a show. He somehow manages to be witty and soothing at the same time, and asks the questions that you’d be asking if you had a chance. He also makes sure the subject matter and any scientific terms are clearly explained. He is very relatable has such a good rapport with his guests. I always look forward to this show because it is so interesting.

pvhauckAmazing podcast!I can’t stop listening to every episode. Excited to try Zoe!
-
FreediveHIWhy this podcast is betterAll of the guests on this show are bringing the many years of scientific research accumulated around health to you and me. This means the advice/information is evidence based. Not just some guy’s opinion. It’s backed with real data
-
sbfearlessBlah blahListened to the menopause episode and they waited until the last 15 minutes of the show to get to the content that was promised and then it was old news.
-
GEMs2023Seed oils are not evilI am finally hearing the evidence that debunks so much misinformation about seed oils. Thank you!!🙏
-
ssscccccooooootttttttGreat informativeReally interesting and informative podcast
-
TriloBiteNomsGreat podcastThis is pitched at a really good level where it is understandable but not watered down. I also like the summary episodes that come out later to sort of refresh. All around solid podcast.

Boredatwork19Women and aging! It’s not a death sentence? My gynecologist wanted to send me to the ER with my menopause symptoms causing me so many physical and mental problems. They totally wrote me off!
-
CcimOutstandingWonderful podcast- Johnathan does a great job making sure all guests are comfortable and able to explain the key points so everyone can understand. Quickly becoming my favorite podcast- every day I learn something new!

ElizaCostA favorite podcastIt always has great tips for improving one’s diet and health and it’s fun to listen! The scientists and researchers have enlightening, cutting edge evidence to help us improve. And isn’t Jonathan the best? Love the show and use the information in my own daily life. Thank you!!! Luna&HairyLove it!!I’ve been a Registered Dietitian for 25 years. I often take note of certain episodes and then suggest to patients to listen. I enjoy listening to the podcast regularly and I’m finding out that my patients do too.
-
IAmNotFinishedScience?Seems to cover more nutrition fads, rather than nutrition science. I thought the episode on chocolate was interesting. The others I’ve heard are dubious.

CherieB’sI am so grateful for ZoeI found Zoe Podcast program months ago and am grateful for their dedication towards helping people, like myself, getting healthier through education gleaned from science. I have taken to heart what I am learning and have seen my own results such as a healthier microbiome through small changes in my diet. Who would have thought removing UPFs from your diet would actually save your life!! THANK YOU so much as I have NEVER had regular bowel movements and now, I get excited when I do!!! People throw parties for birthdays and other celebrations and I want to have one to celebrate my regular bowel movements!! Please keep the information flowing forward!! We are listening to you.

EdopainterA competent resource.Great team of experts supported by great members.
-
Julie loves veggiesInformative and interestingJonathon asks the questions I want the answer to and provides an excellent summation every week on topics I want to learn more about and even those I think I’m not interested in.
-
ZigzagPathExcellent podcastEnjoy the content very much and learn from it a lot. I wish there was a different host.
-
Kickchick29YikesAs a nutrition professional I found this difficult to listen to. The New Years podcast should have been pretty safe I thought to see if this is truly science based information and while I agree with their points I find the way they deliver the information cringe worthy. Full of fear mongering, talking in circles and never actually clarifying a useful approach for people.
-
Rojan honarkarGood as gold ✨I’ve been listening to this podcast for the last couple of days and I’m addicted to it 🥲🤌🤍
-
Dr Clark FanMenstruationI am a Senior & an RN & this podcast taught me a lot. I am impressed with the host’s humility- he doesn’t have any arrogance & admits he’s here to learn like all his listeners.
-
Kylee PiccirilloGreat podcast!I love the broad range of topics this podcast covers. Also appreciate the longer length deeper dives into each topic lately.
-
Foxforce FiveDisappointingThe episode titled ‘Your new menopause toolkit’ was a total disappointment. It was a 35 minute litany of the horrors of menopause and about 90 seconds of any type of helpful solutions that amounted to ‘eat more fiber, less sugar and do weight bearing exercise’. There was no toolkit.

monicam3MenopauseI love your show. I listen to it every week. I’m very happy to see that you had Dr Marie Claire Haver on your show to discuss menopause since she is a menopause specialist. I follow her on social media. She has tremendously significant advice and recommendations for women going through menopause. However, on an earlier podcast, you had one of the doctors who did that completely flawed women’s health initiative study 20+ years ago. And when she was on your podcast, she kept trying to defend aspects of that study that were completely flawed, and that every menopause specialist since then has been trying to walk back. You discussed that study with Dr. Haver, which was that a significant number of the participants were over the age of 62 and were given HRT way past menopause. And there was a huge explosion of misinformation regarding HRT at that time which then contributed to thousands of women not being given proper HRT for their symptoms. That flawed study, where they released the findings without having completed all the statistical data research, has caused so much suffering for so many women and when you had that doctor on your show, you never addressed that. she was given a platform in which to defend many of those findings that were incredibly destructive for so many women in the following 20 years.

InAweofZoeGood as gold! The information from this and other Zoe podcasts is jaw dropping, compelling, and riveting. I want my hearing impaired sister to ‘listen’. Do you have a text version for her to read or the ability to close caption the podcast?

BeansGreensNutsnSeedsGreat, simple, scientifically based infoSome of the reviewers of this podcast seem so easily perturbed. The host is simply trying to clarify the guest experts info and I don’t believe he’s taking too much. I love how he makes sure the info is clear and concise for the lay person. People are DUMB and ill informed by so much misinformation on the web and this podcast helps provide the current science backed evidence. And no, aging women don’t need more meat and milk for strong bones as one reviewer argues against one of the guest scientists advice, which was to eat more vegetables. Thank you, Zoe, for this informative podcast. Can you please bring your research to the states so us Americans can participate??
-
jafl1999BrilliantExtremely useful and educational, you can learn so much about things you probably didn’t even think about but also if you’re in the field it comes out very interesting as well. It is a podcast that is not only helpful to listen to for yourself but to provide useful knowledge to anyone in your life who coincidentally needs it!
-
Palmarosa33TediousThey want to help you! Here is free medical information. But,my god, it is dull in delivery.
-
Paulina2024Kale and oats for healthy bones!Tim Spector is hilarious … eat plenty of vegetables for stronger bones… seriously? He was trying to skip elaborating on the diet aspect because he knows we need collagen and good bioavailable animal protein & minerals to keep our musculoskeletal system healthy. I would love to see DEXA scans on vegans vs omnivores… menopausal women don’t need more kale, they need good source of proteins and fats to avoid sarcopenia and osteoporosis.

k723849Could be betterFirstly, I agree with all the comments that the host talks way too much. He talks over the experts and unnecessarily paraphrases everything. Secondly, I’m a bit disappointed in some of the experts presentation of the science. In a recent ep, the guest (who is not a scientist, according to the ep description) said she eats mostly plants but sometimes needs more protein so she “needs to eat some meat”. She implied that plants are not capable of providing sufficient protein, which is blatantly false. I’m not denying how she feels on those days, and perhaps their is metabolic reason she feels that way, but she should not have presented her anecdote in a way that implies false nutritional information. I appreciate the other guest ( a scientist) politely adding to his response that plants will give you plenty of protein. But I think the show should do a better job making sure the information released in accurate.

Oma41Amazing.My absolutely favorite nutrition podcast!!
-
Aim bobameAcknowledging womenI really appreciate this podcast, I love the variety of relevant topics and their scientific approach. I especially appreciate that they don’t assume that women are the same as men medically. I cheer each time Jonathan asks a guest about how women’s response to a variable might be different from men’s. I applaud his awareness of menopause and HRT, which are both understudied topics. Everyone deserves health, but the majority of medical studies still exhibit gender bias.
-
PKP69Could be betterHost talks too much! Simplify questions. Allow your guest/expert to talk.
-
Sdel12Host talks over guestsGreat content but the host constantly talks over and interrupts the experts which is so annoying
-
ebrandimoreFasting podcastSo, I find this conflicting from other podcasts you have aired. Is fasting for women healthy or unhealthy? How can we trust information if it’s constantly changing?
-
C BBB333Guests are greatThe expert guests are really interesting to listen to but the host can’t stop talking over them and paraphrasing. Very annoying. Unfollowing.
-
trying2Brationalmust endure chatty host and smarmInteresting subjects and discussions are worthwhile. But the host’s comments, and shilling for zoe, are very disruptive, at the expense of guest input continuity. It’s a trade off, but would love less smarmy interruptions of guests, and especially host!
-
Bass and RooReally good information but…Informative podcast on a variety of health issues. Enjoy many aspects of this podcast but the host consistently talks over and interrupts the guests that are there to inform the listener. Please stop cutting off the subject matter expert, it really takes away from an otherwise good podcast.
-
DianeKapExerciseI loved to learn more about muscles and exercise. Very easy to understand and applicable to all age groups and lifestyles. I love learning new things to improve my health.
-
alebydaySomeone tell the host to be quietPhenomenal guests, so informative! Top notch health podcast. However, the host is a pain…he talks too much. Just let the awesome guests talk (or edit yourself out of the podcast). I’m not tuning in to listen to the host, but to the awesome guests! And it would be shorter…bonus point
-
RenoThisJohnathan WolfDoes he ever listen to the podcast post publication? He is the most annoying moderator - he talks over guests and raises his voice if they continue to elaborate on a question. Content is first rate, Wolf should be replaced.
-
SabaPlayzwhy this is so popularstumble guys gives you gems to follow this girl why would u want followers who don’t even care about what you’re talking about?? weird.
-
Grand RapidianStop Interrupting Your GuestsListening to your 3/28 episode re: dementia risks. Your continual interruption of your expert guest is rude and extremely off putting. I’m sure your program has some wonderful listener benefits, but I doubt I’ll find out what those are.
-
fill in dha blank_________Great infoThis podcast brings real medical information and breaks it down in layman terms for relevant understanding. I’ve made many changes in diet and lifestyle based on their recommendations. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the public.
