How have I missed this? Guests are fascinating and Ina really talks and LISTENS to them. Small conversations about their lives and careers are most interesting. And……best part is the recipes. Thank you for sharing the fun!

I have been a fan of Ina’s for years. I love the Barefoot Contessa shows and only just discovered that Ina has a podcast. The most recent one I listened to was the Laura Linney episode and tonight I watched Love Actually, so thanks for the recommendation. Looking forward to many more episodes from The Barn!

I wait with heightened anticipation for every BMG episode. Tears roll down my cheeks at each show’s connective moments and I take them in over and over again just like the worn and stained pages of your cookbooks on my shelf. For me, BMG feeds my soul, I inhale the stories, I feel like I’m in the kitchen laughing and cooking with you all. Now when I drag myself to the gym (I’m 67 so yes it’s a drag) I can get through the treadmill as though it never happened and think “how easy is that?” I fell into catering in my 20’s, got a crazy idea to open a humble little market and food / catering shop in San Diego in my 30’s, closed it after a decade (it was the scariest thing I’ve ever done but it became my foundation for my new career) I’ve worked in food all my life, presented for celebrity and to icons, but Ina is my North Star. Be My Guest, is much more than a culinary show, it models how real people come together through the ritual of making a meal. So needed today. Thank you, Ina, for dreaming this up for us all. I just want you to know how important it is to us.

Have been a fan of the Barefoot Contessa for years and cannot think of Ina without smiling! Was intrigued about a non-visual cooking podcast but figured I’d at least smile for 45 minutes if nothing else. Ina invites people she admires, but has never met, to come to her barn in the Hamptons and cook their favorite or go-to meal while she plays sou chef. These podcasts are so relaxing and informative and actually are vicarious thrills. They are transcendental as the minutes pass fly by, as you get to know the celebrity and feel an authenticity from Ina and her amazing ability to put people at ease while they get to know each other, cook together and then eat the meal they’ve just created. Brava Ina!!

Nothing new. It is the same format as her tv show which I love. I was hoping she might come up with a different concept. Not everyone should start a podcast.

After listening to Ina and her great guests, I always come away inspired, relaxed, and wanting more!

I love Ina! How wonderful to stumble upon her podcast through another love, The Splendid Table. She will have a place in my regular listening schedule.

I’ve been watching Be My Guest on television, and love it so much that I enjoy listening to the episodes that I’ve already seen. It’s such a feel good show at a time when too many of us get preoccupied with negative things about ourselves and the world around us. Thanks, Ina!

What a joy to listen to! The episodes are long enough for my morning commute from the Heights to Chelsea, and yet still short enough to leave me wanting more. Ina and her guests are engaged, dynamic, and full of zest for life without being preachy, try-hard, or lacking humility. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I come across, and can’t wait to listen to more.

I think what I enjoy so much about this podcast is that we get to see (or hear 😉) another side of Ina. A level deeper because it’s a bit more intimate to hear her interacting with friends, interviewing, and having the focus more on the relationships than the food. The result is something any Ina fan could have guessed… you get to know a bit more about her… and you love her even more! Ina = fun, authentic, gracious, relaxed, & witty - who doesn’t love that?! 💗

I completely agree with Envy. I, too, am not an envious person. I’m not star struck in the least, but then there’s Ina. I have every cookbook and always will. Grant me a wish and it would be to join her in the Hamptons in the barn! She is perfection! When I stumbled upon her new podcast on my most recent walk I was over the moon. I listened to every interview in one morning. Talk about getting my steps in! Be My Guest with Ina is simply the BEST!

I love Ina's recipes, her cookbooks, her television show and now her podcasts. Her guests are at ease from the start and she makes her listeners feel as if they right there with them. My favorite episode so far, probably not fair to say because there have only been a few, was with Rob Marshall and John DeLuca. Brilliant men who held nothing back. So funny and so real. I’m not envious of people with more beauty or money or power, I’m not envious of a bigger house, or a larger career, or better hair, but I am envious of every single person who is blessed to spend time with this woman and her husband. If I had three personal wishes one of them would be to be Ina’s guest. And the odds of that wish becoming reality would probably be one in 8 billion! ‘Wink. She is without a doubt the nicest, classiest, smartest person on the Food Network. Everything about her is calming, pleasant, and welcoming (and the same can easily be said of Jeffrey).
