    Fascinating!
Since I follow Richard’s photography I thought this would be a good podcast to learn from. Rarely is the discussions about photography but I am always learning new things about our planet and others who care deeply about the planet and resources it contains. Every time I think Richard can not top the last guest, he finds a way to do just that. Highly recommend this podcast and you will probably be like me and follow his guests on their social media, find their website or buy their books.

    Richard Bernabe - Episode May 19, 2023
Excellent podcast! Great content that I found at least 90% interesting and personally relatable. I particularly liked the segment on AI manipulation. The majority of podcasts I’ve ’tried’ listen to have been so politically biased. I enjoyed this podcast because it was ’not’. I look forward to enjoying more.

    Masterpiece
In our tech era’s plethora of nature photography podcasters, there’s one standout amongst the many— Richard Bernabe, whose contributions offer some of the most engaging and comprehensive view of things “Behind the Lens,” Bernabe’s aptly-named production, that’s available to subscribers. Richard’s podcast offers the listener not merely the story of what’s taking place “behind the lens” of the camera, but all else that’s behind the photograph. As any photographer, from the novice to the professional knows, the lens and “what’s behind it’ —including the photographer’s mindset, skills, artistic vision and emotions, when combined with the equipment, is where the magic occurs in those photographs whereby we find ourselves not merely viewing, but studying with a forensic intensity and scrutiny. It is this magic that Bernabe captures in each podcast, offering the listener the mindful insight to those factors within and about that creates those “wow” images. Each session is devoid of ego— a rarity amongst podcasters— and wholly relatable to all, regardless one’s photographic means or abilities. With a diverse and always-engaging subject matter that draws the listener in, desirous of the next episode, Richard Bernabe’s passion for the natural world, the arts, photography and the photographers, is evident, making his guests and his listeners truly part of the podcast. He assuredly and demonstrably knows his audience, and fortunately for us listeners, is adept at allowing us to know him as well. These podcasts are essential listening for photographers of all skill levels; Bernabe neither panders to nor sorts his audience, articulating the most insightful elements of photography in the most listenable manner possible. Whether you’re ‘behind the lens” or contemplating what you’ll see when you are, this highly rated podcast is a delightful and informative view into what’s “behind the lens.” I urge you to listen, subscribe and make use of Richard Bernabe’s gifts he so wonderfully shares.

These Podcasts are fantastic. The guests choices are perfect and the subjects are intriguing. Richard is awesome and brings his great personality to all of these interviews. Saving the Wolves in Yellow Stone
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. The information shared by Richard’s guest Marc Cooke was insightful. Questions asked were aimed at enlightening the listeners on the current situation facing the wolf population in Yellow Stone Park in Montana. More people need to be made aware of the importance of saving the wolves from illegal hunting. Decreasing the wolf population will have detrimental effects on the environment. Thanks to both Richard and Marc for addressing the issue of saving the Wolves. CL

Beyond the Lens and the episode #6 "
I just finished listened the episode #6 of the fascinated podcast hosted by Mr Richard Bernabe Beyond the Lens. I am absolutely amazed at the wonderful journey I made through the warm voices of Richard Bernabe and John Paul Caponigro into photography, nature, the Pandemic, writing, poetry, art and…especially life! The interviewer and the interviewee are quite sensitive, intuitive, intelligent, charismatic, entertaining and definitely great talented beings. 56 minutes where you never lose interest because of the versatility, the content, the points of view, the orientation, the interview, the questions, the answers, the comments, the touch of humor (the laugh)…. EVERYTHING! It filled my soul and my emotions and it feels so sweet and pretty! I RECOMMEND this Podcast to professional and non-professional photographers but to every person who loves life, to those who have a sensitive soul, to those who enjoy nature, to those who love to listen to an excellent interview out of the ordinary, those who smile and laugh with fine humor and of course those who love meeting absolutely captivating characters! You’re going to love each episode

    Saving the Wolves of Yellowstone!
I listen twice to the podcast, learn so much and could not understand why Ranchers instead of using a device to keep the wolves from getting close to the cattle, choose to used a one dollar bullet and killed those beautiful creatures, and also the gouvernement pays 1000 dollars for each cow killed… Disgusting. Wolves have to be protected. I love the podcast by Richard Bernabe and Marc Cooke. They care so much for wildlife. Please listen to the podcast. Allie Mc Gaha. Atlanta. GA.

Fun and educational for all creatives!
The world of photography can feel so layered and complex and unattainable and yet it is not, and this podcast proves that. From exploring why and how creatives (not just photographers) create, to business advice and incredible story telling, this is such a well rounded podcast already. Amateur to professional and everything in between, I felt right at home and you will too. I can’t wait to see who else Richard interviews and what I learn next!
