Welcome to Spanish from Zero, a podcast for people who are just starting the amazing journey of Spanish learning.My name is Mar, and as a teacher who works with absolute beginners, I decided to create this series of really short and easy exercises for people who are completely new to the language. Cause even if you've started learning Spanish just a few weeks ago, it's never too early to start working on your listening skills!

Nice premise, but…

As a beginner who’s been studying Spanish, I really like the premise of listening to sentences for errors. However it was a major bummer to find i have to go online and read to get the answers. Not good for listening in the car. Forgive me for not giving five stars but I wish the creator would just explain in words on the podcast why each answer is correct or incorrect. ¡Gracias!

Not sure how it’s for beginners

I was really excited for the idea that this was for beginners, but the 1st episode starts with hearing sentences with congregated verbs. Where was the lesson on how to congregate? And then the answers are in the show notes and not given afterwards. It is hard to look up show notes if you are listening to podcast while doing activities.

Excellent Series

Mar is very well spoken. I do hope she continues with the podcast series. It can be hard to find a good source of learning material for Spanish reading comprehension. Especially for beginning learners.
