    . F bomb
STOP WITH THE F BOMB. DISGUSTING!! Where are your morals and manners? You are gonna lose your audience, at least us. The majority of people don’t want to hear it. STOP.

    Not sure
Take her so long to get to the point or even start the story it drives me crazy

    Amazing podcast
Great stories and I don’t have to worry about the vulgarity like some podcast. She really does these cases justice. Keep up the great work.
  • podcastermi
    Lots of chatter
Her script could be edited down to cut out some of the unnecessary fluff/opinions that don’t add to the stories. She repeats herself and speculates often.

    Too many ads now
I used to love her show. Now there are too many ads. I no longer listen.
  • sdisnie
    Too many commercials!
This is the only podcast I listen to that has an over abundance of commercial breaks, it's just too much
  • Anonuser24
All the reviews about the ads are true
It’s unlistenable. You have to sit through 10 straight mins of ads breaker the topic is ever even mentioned. Then you can expect a to happen over and over again throughout the episode. If you do the math, some of these episodes are 70% ads.

    Woke lib 🐑
Anti police podcaster who acts like shes the victim in most all cases covered. EVERYONE she does a story on is “such an amazing person with a bright future”. And she has to go on for 2-4 minutes about this every time before the ridiculous nonstop ads come on. Enjoy the stories yes, but not the woke rhetoric she pushes. Also find it incredible how she thinks she’s an expert at investigating and or police work. Yes has zero credentials to show for it.

    Way too many ads
Having 30-60 min episodes and 90 ad breaks is just absurd. You need a take a note from Timesuck with Dan Cummins who manages to only do two ad breaks in 2 hour+ episodes. I used to religiously listen to Kendall but I can’t take it anymore.

    Why so many ads?
Never used to be like this. Enjoyed your podcast and YouTube before when you would spend a lot of time telling the story, now you repeat yourself over and over and try to relate to every story is not needed, you dont relate to every victim and don’t need to correlate yourself to the stories. Your ads are longer than the story in between ads

Too many of the hosts own opinions
I want to like this podcast but holy moly it is riddled with her own opinions. Some of which completely contradict other opinions within the same episode. She is often very judgmental of people within the stories and cases as if she knows how she would respond or react. Again, oftentimes contradicting herself from other episodes or in the same episode. She often presents herself as expert on certain topics that she really doesn’t know much about. As a mental health provider myself, there have been many times where she makes a claim about mental health, treatment or medication that is just simply incorrect, but she presents it as fact. Tone your opinions down. We are interested in the cases, not what an amateur thinks about them. We will listen to other podcasts with actual experts if that is what we are looking for.

She is a good story teller but…
It feels like AT LEAST every minute there is at least ONE ad.

The amount of ads is ridiculous
I understand ads need to be present for a podcast to be funded but the amount on this podcast is absolutely absurd.
  • cindypandamonia
    Tik toker faking cancer episode
I really wanted to her this podcast but you kept repeating pancreatic cancer over and over you could’ve just said it once. The word is just too triggering for many people. It was just unnecessary how many times it was said.

    Good listen
I came here from The Mile High Club Podcast which is from the same host. I love true crime and enjoy both podcasts. I like the research, and information; honesty from the host. The only thing I dislike is the ads that seem to constantly happen every few minutes on some episodes.

Cop-bashing, biased and more ads than content
I’ve listened to this podcast for a good while now but I just can’t (won’t) deal with the constant and seemingly endless rhetoric and bashing of investigators, police officers and law enforcement in general. What Kendall thinks gives her the “right” to question what the hardworking men and women in blue did, do, should do, should have done, etc., is a complete mystery. As far as I can tell, she has ZERO qualifications that would enable her to do so. Plus, the ads….upon ads….and more ads. 😫 Yeah, I get that I can join as a paid listener as I have done with several others, I listen to a LOT of true crime podcasts that are free and they don’t have HALF of the ads that this one does. Lastly, the personal thoughts and overly opinionated narration is beyond tolerable. Stick with the story and facts. You aren’t the expert on any of this. You’re relaying a story. The podcast used to be much better but Kendall Rae acts as though the listeners should be grateful to/for her instead of the other way around.

    Mixed feelings on this podcast.
Kendall does a great job of telling the story. I do feel that she’s very opinionated and shares those opinions quite often. And sometimes she goes off topic and it can be a bit frustrating when she’s rambling and another add pops up. I feel like my time is wasted sometimes. However she makes sure you get every part of the story that’s important.

    Great!
Super compassionate and informative. Love that you donate to so many families and good causes as well! I also don’t mind any swearing and am not sure why anyone would ask you to police your language. But I suppose that is the internet. Keep being great!

    The ads make this intolerable
The ads are absolutely crazy. Worst I’ve ever heard in a podcast. Also, it’s at the worst timing. It makes listening intolerable

    Good Show But..
Loved the show at the beginning, but lately it just seems like it’s ad after ad.

    Trash
Stick with what the story is, your stupid opinions makes it impossible to tolerate.

    My Favorite
I typically watch on YouTube, but with lots of recent travel I’ve been listening to the podcast. Personally, Kendall will always be my first choice for true crime. All these people complaining about an f bomb must be living in some alternate reality… there are far worse things in this life to be upset about. Sometimes nothing conveys the situation better. I vote more f bombs! 😛

The Ads will be the downfall
I wanted to like this but oh my the ads are ridiculous. I don’t mind a “commercial break” here or there but even when discussing the story it goes off the beaten path and somehow turns into an ad/link infomercial. Its a shame because the horse has a great voice and can tell she enjoys what she does

    Love!!
I grew up watching a lot of documentaries. My father always watched a lot of ID channels and I fell in love with being able to watch peoples stories of situations between murder to missing people. I found Kendall Rae on Facebook where she would talk about cases that were never covered enough or from back in the day where there wasn’t a lot of places to cover these cases. I’m happy that I found Kendall Rae and found her podcast!! This is one of my favs. I always wanted to work in the criminal justice world where I can work with evidence, but knew I couldn’t afford it. So listening to this podcast kinda is my jam!! So thankful for Kendall and all that she does for these families and allowing them to either get more coverage or for the families to tell their stories! ❤️

    Going downhill fast
I agree with all the reviews saying the ads make this podcast unlistenable. I also wanna point out bashing the investigators is not productive at all, sometimes they are incompetent but if you consistently put down even the good ones you lose the power of your criticism. 👎
  • ciao, adios
    Gave up
Way too many ads. And too opinionated. Rushed through stories.
  • Nullity
    BEWARE of 3x More Ads
Edit 2/17/24: The ads are just too much for me. They’re like every two minutes and at least three times as many as the second next most ad filled podcast. It’s just not worth it anymore to continue listening, which is a shame because the topics were interesting. I can’t figure out why none of the reviews have mentioned this incredibly obvious issue, although to be fair I’m starting out at the beginning so it may get better in time and if that’s the case I will increase my rating. I’ve heard really good things about this podcast so I think it’s worth giving it a thoughtful try

Went from a amazing to unlistenable
I’ve been listening to Kendall for a while I don’t know what happened but her podcast is unlistenable-there are ads everywhere. Worse than day time TV and timed horribly. I might try YouTube but I’m unsubscribing, her content is not worth your brain cells to listen to contact ads. Inflation is crazy right now but this is not it.

    Love Her!!
This is my favorite True Crime podcast!! I love all of the episodes. They are put together professionally and keep my attention better than any other show. There are a lot of ads as other people have said, but this podcast is so good I just ignore them. It is easy enough to skip through the ads. 🫶🏼

    ???
Use to love this podcast. I understand most, if not all the funds are donated yet the ads are CRAZY. Can’t sit through a single episode any more it is a shame. 😭 it wasn’t even 6 minutes between them at one point.
  • jujuinor
    Not bad but…
I did enjoy this in the beginning, but the use of foul language and the consistent ads is frustrating and unprofessional . Moving onto the next one. 👋

Just Ads with some podcasting in between
Hard to listen to due to all the ads, thought it was interesting but gave up because of all the ads.

    Great podcast!
This has become one of my favorite podcasts!

    Too many ads!
The ads take up more time than she talks! It’s basically just ads non-stop.
  • Alleyyy__
Pretty good podcast BUT SO MANY ADS
I actually really like this podcast but the amount of ADS IS CRAZY definitely needs to be tamed down, not only is it so many of them but the timing they put them in is awful.
  • KJ4D
    Too many ads
    Too many ads
  • candiedisland
    Ads every 2 minutes
It’s like they just threw a few minutes of content between a constant stream of ads.
  • Durstany
    Glad it’s “free”
The ads are probably three times as many as other podcasts I listen to. Frequency and length is disruptive to the stories and honestly distasteful at times. Talking about a brutal assault interrupted by “omg nothing is worse than trying to find a doctor”! When you break it down an hour episode has maybe 25 minutes of actual podcast.
  • UserNamesAreAnnoying
    Ads, all ads
This show is a basic summary of a crime. Nothing you can’t read on Wikipedia, no insight or additional information included. It would be about 11 minutes but the adds fill in the remaining 20 minutes. I don’t think I’ve heard any podcast that has this many. Every 4-5 minutes is another set of ads that are 2-3 minutes.
  • 315cbam
Expect ads roughly every 10 minutes
This would be a 5 star show if the the ads were every 15-20min. Its very unfortunate. Of course I’m speaking with zero knowledge on what it cost to run a show. Only basing this on the other shows I listen to.
  • Apppttrrrg
    Love Kendall!
    The ads are worth it!

    Ads
So so sooo many ads. Literally every couple of minutes. I used to really like listening to Kendall, and I understand everyone needs to make money. But it’s very excessive. I hope she takes all of these reviews into consideration. Disappointing to say the least.

    Mic Sensitivity
I think she’s a wonderful story teller, puts tons of effort into research, and does some wonderful work with different groups spreading awareness. But… I can not listen to her with headphones on or sometimes at all. She’s great but the mouth noises and spit sounds from the mic sensitivity being so high just gives me the worst ick. Like I said she’s great but pleaaaase. ALSO an insane amount of ads, I mean come on. It takes up almost half of each episode. Driving away listeners
  • Chefchik8
    Omg the ADS!!!!
Great show except…the ads are RIDICULOUS!!!! There are a ton of them, and they throw them in at really weird times. It’s just awkward and super annoying. It makes this podcast unable to listen to for me. It’s really too bad because I like the host.
