Solid podcast. Nothing groundbreaking but give a good shot of true crime when you need a fix

I love the show on TV so listening to the exact show in audio form is great! The reviews complaining obviously have never watched the show. The podcast is simply the exact audio of each televised show.

Interesting show but OMG stop the moaning, it’s so annoying!

Can barely hear the narration because of the annoying, repetitive, loud background music. Please tone it down.

This is my favorite id show, I was upset when they stopped making new episodes. Now I can at least listen to the podcast. Yay

I stopped listening. The constant background clip of the heavy breathing is intolerable. It cheapens the story and your podcast.

What is up with this podcast deleting episodes that’s the point of me downloading them.

Wow, this is horrible. The narration is so awful that I had to listen and determine if it was a robot, or a human, totally and completely devoid of normal speaking pattern. It’s probably the worst narrated thing I’ve ever heard in the history of recorded media.

Please remove the background music. Very distracting and irritating. I feel like I’m listening to two different shows.

I can’t believe how much this show despises the woman in the one episode I listened to. The whole family talks about him, “he was a good Christian man!” She was a vixen who just wanted attention, with her full womanly figure at 5’9” and 115# (this guy has obviously never spoken to a woman at that height, that is well below underweight). Her husband came to the strip club with his friends every night to watch her, but actually all of his family KNOWS it must be killing him despite him never saying that and she was just manipulating him. They also keep referring to her as a bored housewife…although she has a job, it’s a job they don’t think is a real job (exotic dancing). And then she leaves her husband for another man and they’re all, “he’s so ugly, why would anybody ever want him?? He was so desperate, he would take anyone!” This woman obviously made some bad life decisions and is in the wrong but do we have to use all this woman-hating ad hominem language? Every one of the people who made this show should be embarrassed about their part in this.

The background music is awful and distracting. The stories are interesting.

The level of misogyny is this show is vile.

Thee background music is overpowering. It’s hard to listen to the narrator and guest. Please turn it down! I stopped listening.

Lololol! I thought I’d like the Moaning removed, but this new season has NO MOANING! After awhile it became what I looked forward too! My wife and I had a game where we would try to guess when the Moaning would happen and make the noise. I’ll be honest… It’s just not the same without the Moaning! Instead of going to the extremes from total Moaning to no Moaning and a static sound… could you possibly bring back the Moaning for, like, 3 to 5 times an episode? Thanks!

The moaning and weird tv/radio sounds are strange and way overused ….

Love the show and will continue to listen but can we dial down the explicit moaning and sexual sounds? It just gets annoying.

Perfect except loose lurid, breathy background sounds. Storytelling is credible with challenging details.

These stories are SO good but you guys have GOT to ditch that awful background track! Not only is it disruptive to listening but it actually becomes actively irritating and it starts to be all you can hear!

You might as well have a p*rn tab open as you listen to this, you wouldn’t know the difference. As everyone else has said, please for the love of God, get rid of the gasps and moans. It’s so off putting and makes it hard to listen to. The stories are interesting but the sound effects make listening unbearable.

They do a decent job of telling the story but the terrible moaning noises are absolutely annoying.

Good stories I agree with the above post of the weird heavy breathing. The language and words used are also very outdated.

I listened to 3 episodes & it was all blaming women who liked sex and then committed crimes. Very biased.

…The weird heavy breathing, sighing, moaning whatever is happening literally every 60-120 seconds in this podcast. I love the stories, I love the narrator…. It’s the awful weird creepy heavy breathing and sighing I could do without… it’s like some creep in the editing room took a sound clip of a pornstar and puts clips of them sighing and breathing hard every few sentences… it’s too much and it’s creepy

Love the episodes but can do without all those annoying sounds effects and heavy breathing.

I had to stop listening to this show because or the weird background music on loop and creepy, grating sounds. Really, such a shame. The stories are interesting but I had to unfollow. I wish they would eliminate the ridiculous noises.

Loved this show when I had cable so I was happy as heck when I heard they were having a podcast! If you watched the show, you know about the heavy breathing it’s their thing 🤣🤣 I hope ID channel comes out with more shows. *A crime to remember* maybe?! ♥️ Much love.

Very interesting content and stories I haven’t heard elsewhere, but the consistent heavy (sexual?) breathing that loops throughout is extremely annoying and just weird.

This could have been a good podcast but it’s horrible! The voice is so breathy it’s so irritating. I listened to the desperate housewife ep. - for 5 minutes- that was more than enough! Describing a woman as vacuous, not from a “good family “ and a man from a “good christian” family- absolutely disgusting. Most of the worst people I know are “good christians”! This is 2022, descriptions of people from 1970! Do yourself a favor and skip this podcast!

I remember watching this show on television and I loved it, I don’t mind the moans, on tv they use these as transitions and match the image in the screen. I think there fine and I hope all the ID shoes end up as podcasts :-)

I agree with the other reviews, the heavy breathing is a bit much. I’ve almost stopped listening because of it. The rest of the podcast is good with good content
