    Kathryn puts my mind in the direction of gratitude. I love it when I can hear Kathryn smiling or laughing. I’m being shown how to take myself lightly.

    Wake up gently
    Kathryn helps me gently move from sleep to wakefulness. It’s always a nice way to wake up, but it really shines on days when I don’t want to deal with the day ahead- it shifts my mindset to positive before I even get out of bed.

    Best 10 minutes
    This podcast is 10 minutes well spent. I usually listen in the morning and it starts my day on the perfect note. Sometimes, however, I'll use it while I'm stressed when driving. I don't close my eyes for obvious reasons, but it helps refocus to calm. Kathryn is an amazing teacher and perfect for those new to meditation. If you've ever thought you were "bad" at meditation or could not do it please give this app a try. You might discover there is no perfect meditation practice and whatever you do is beneficial. That said, this is also wonderful for well practiced meditators. Whatever your experience-give this app a try.

    I always come away from these sessions with a sense of calmness, renewed focus and, well, feeling a bit more grounded and pointed in the right direction. Kathryn makes practicing meditation easy and approachable as it should be! I think of these moments spent taking some time for myself as little treasures.     I loved the more self compassion episode. I do these every night and love how you integrated the skin to skin touching, tapping and hands over our eyes. I would love a nighttime series for deeper relaxation to ease anxiety to drift off to sleep. Thank you for all you do. I enjoy every episode.

    The First This and Nothing much happens podcasts are so simple yet so addicting and wonderful! A friend in Montreal told me about them when we realized we both have insomnia and anxiety .     I’ve been doing both of Katherine Nikolai‘s podcasts for a while now. First This and Nothing Much Happens (for sleep). I used to not be able to listen to women’s voices comfortably, but I find Katherine‘s voice very soothing like a good trusted friend. A wise counselor. I’m 63 years old and these podcasts help me with anxiety, stinking, thinking, and insomnia. At some point, when I can figure it out, I am definitely going to subscribe. And I’ve never subscribed to a podcast before but I want so very much for Katherine to keep doing what she does. It’s so helpful to me. I feel like the wisdom that seeps through these episodes is supernatural. As a quaker, I call it light. So I would say it more than rings a bell.

    Great start to my day!
    I had been looking for a podcast that would I would be able to make a routine out of it. I really wanted to try and get into the whole mindfulness thing as I always lead a very busy life. I wanted a moment for myself. I tried many different ones but they didn’t captivate me. Until I found this one. It’s short enough to not hold me up in the morning but long enough to have me feeling centered for the day. I could hear her all day. Her voice is very soothing and calming to me. Please continue this podcast as you have found a forever follower. 🥰

    A spacious yet simple guided meditation
    I love how spacious this guided meditation is - I actually have space and silence to practice as opposed to others who fill every minute with prompting. It’s also the perfect launch into the day with some small, applicable nugget of wisdom to practice. Really love this as a compliment to Nothing Much Happens at the end of the day. Such a great find!

    I just finished my first podcast just a minute ago, and I love it! I listen to the Nothing Much Happens every night and it lets me go to sleep easier. When I first discovered this podcast, I wanted to try it, I had to wait along time before I could, but now I did it. Now I want to do it every morning!!!

    “You should try meditation“ has been force-fed down my throat for decades now and I’ve tried all different kinds. Most of them are aggravating (headspace anyone?) This is the only one that has stuck and doesn’t make me want to punch things.

    I am so happy that I discovered this podcast. I look forward to these daily, morning meditations. I also listen to this podcast in the afternoon as a refresher. Every night, I listen to Nothing Much Happens. I feel calm and balanced.

    First, I love this!
    I would gladly pay for a mindfulness class with Kathryn, but here I’m getting it for free! Kathryn’s approach to mindfulness meditation is unlike any other that I have experienced before. Something about the way she teaches and speaks allows me to truly let go and accept and honor whatever comes up wherever I am. I always feel more whole and integrated when I’m finished with the meditation…even on the days when the “bad” emotions arise. I feel more “ME” when I’m finished. And for that I’m grateful. Thank you Kathryn for this podcast. 💙✌🏻
