a generally great podcast! i’ve learned a lot and the host is great! i have gravitated to more Hellenistic astrology, use whole signs and assign rulership using traditional planets only! so, that being said i think the follow up on why aquarius is ruled by saturn missed a huge element! it maybe hard to outline in text form (diagram is easier) but here it goes: ancient astrology assigned the 2 luminaries to cancer (moon) and leo (sun) and then the 7 other planets get assigned symmetrically fanning out on each side. so, the sign next to cancer is gemini who’s ruling planet mercury. the sign next to leo is virgo who’s ruling planet is also mercury! then, taurus/libra have venus as the planetary ruler. next up aries/scorpio with mars ruling, then next is sagittarius pisces with jupiter, and finally capricorn and aquarius with saturn ruling. it is all symmetrical and beautiful!! hope this makes sense :)

Listened to the episode about why Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius since it seems to be something overlooked in every resource I’ve come across and this is the same. Robert just mentions how Scorpio, Aquarius, and Pisces have new ruling planets due to the discovery of the outer planets and then talks about how special he is with his outer planet w inner planet placements but doesn’t answer the question of why Aquarius is associated with Saturn at all.

I’ve been listening to this show eagerly for the past year and am always delighted by the wealth of knowledge and experience these two talented astrologers have. I re-listened to the episodes on Saturn in Pisces and everything so far has been following the narrative. I am a Cancer Sun, Scorpio Rising who has a home base and a traveling turtle shell van I built myself and am currently in the middle of my Saturn return in Pisces. Finding this show has been an excellent way to start my mornings alongside the Fun Astrology podcast. Thank you both for sharing your insights!

I was absolutely floored by Robert’s discussion on Saturn in Pisces for Leo sun and rising. Everything hit home for me. My Father left this life in January 2024 which has left me to take care of my Mother (a promise I made to my Father). My personal relationships have also been on the forefront as well, lately. I felt like Robert was reading my soul. I have much to learn when it comes to astrology. Thankfully with the help of this podcast, my goal is to be able to read my own chart along with my children’s. I’m a young astrologer who’s been listening to and deeply enjoying y’all’s podcast for a long time, and I would give 5 stars if I could. However I was very surprised and disappointed to see the proud comparisons made by Thomas to Joe Rogan’s chart. I genuinely didn’t think y’all aligned with folks like that. I truly hope I was mistaken by what seemed like a positive light given to that terrible man, and it was just that Gemini rising curiosity.

So much knowledge and information! I love this podcast. I’ve almost made it through every episode now and I only found it a month or so ago. Robert is so knowledgeable and shares so well. Thank you for this.

How did I just find this podcast? I love the short and deep discussions about various astrological topics. I learn so much and I don’t have to listen to a two hour podcast to do it! Robert and Thomas make a great team and they are so easy to listen to!

Thank you, being dyslexic and ADD, these episodes help me put things together when it feels like to many numbers and lines that are constantly moving and changing and it’s helping me put this together, as my brain can’t always see things and put it together. Every episode provided great references and to refer back to, for me trying to put things together more effectively, clearly, and allowing me to try and comprehend it on a daily. Robert Glasscock is a brilliant astrologer with decades of experience, and an excellent teacher as well. He has a wealth of astrological knowledge and insight to share, and the short format is a blessing for those of us with limited time for listening to podcasts. There are a lot of very good astrology podcasts out there, but one has made it to the top of my list.

I have really enjoyed listening to two people I respect so much discuss astrology in a accessible way. I enjoy the banter between Thomas and Robert and the variety of discussions. The material is explained in a way that you can understand without being overwhelming.

I feel very lucky to get to learn and enjoy the experiences offered in this podcast. I look forward to each adventure. Thank You Both
